I have had New Balance shoes for many years, and have always considered them to be the best on the market. These shoes are not anywhere near the standard that have made NB the shoe of choice. They are NOT correctly marked in terms of size. They come about a size smaller than they are marked. Buyer beware...

People should know that these shoes run about a size smaller than normal, ie I bought 10s when I normally get 9s. The material for the mesh is also different then what is in the image, it's more shiny.

I had purchased a non wide shoe, it did not fit at all. Sent that back. The 2e seemed snug when I tried it on, however, I wore them for a day and the snug fit was comfortable. In the future I will remember to go a size bigger OR a size wider.

I first ordered my size, size 11 and they were too small. 11-1/2 are slightly snug with socks but I use them on a treadmill bare foot and they are OK. In all I like the U420 light weight and protect my feet and legs.
