I have bad foot pain due to fallen arches and plantar fasciitis. Since I work on my feet, I needed relief and I needed it fast. I couldn't afford the expensive custom arch supports so I thought I'd give these a try. Am I ever glad I did!! They are so comfy, and you barely notice they are there, unlike other arch supports. The gel is soft, the support is great...and the relief only cost me $7.59! I wish I had gotten these sooner....my knee pain is even letting up as well thanks to these

Hard to call any insert heavy. I use Green Superfeet in my running shoes for the arch support. These I am using for Disneyland with lots of standing. The Gel sections provide a lot more cushion for my heels and front pads of my feet. But the arch support is barely there. So if you have fairly high arches where Green Superfeet inserts help, these are not a good med-high arch daily support insert. But I find that for just standing and walking these are a nice comfort to my feet. I would love it if they made Green Superfeet with heel gel and front pads. In the meantime, I will have to alternate between two inserts based on running or standing.

If these had more significant arch support, I would give it 5 stars. NOTE: When cutting them down to size, the lines are on the bottom and if you are righthanded, when you cut the inserts it bevels the cut inward. So when you think you are cutting on the line, on the other side it's actually cutting the top smaller. So be careful and cut a little large and then trim from the top.

These do cushion your feet, but are very HEAVY. They made my running shoes noticably more heavy. I went to a local running store and purchased running-specific inserts. These running-specific inserts allow me to run marathons much more comfortably. I believe the weight of the Dr Scholls would slow down my running time and add to muscle fatigue. You get what you pay for -the running-specific inserts were $24.

I now use the Dr Scholls at my job where I work long shifts (often standing). The Dr Scholls do help eliminate fatigue on the job.

they make it hard to fit in your shoes since it takes off about half an inch of the height of the inside of your shoe, and the arch support pretty much isnt there at all.

This product came on time. It is easy to use, just put it in your shoes and walk. The cushion in the heel is wonderful.
