My husband and I decided to purchase a pair of these for our 15 month twin daughters after doing many searches and trying different pairs of shoes on them. I actually couldn't find a whole lot of reviews for the baby/toddler sizes but the adult version of this shoe has a ton of reviews many different places and the few baby/toddler reviews I read were all good.

We wanted a shoe that would match everything, something that was durable, easy to clean and would be easy for them to walk in since they are new to walking. We tried these as well as several other namebrand shoes on them and we liked these the best.

They are even more adorable on them that I had imagined. They are very lightweight and the bottoms of the shoes bend easily making it easier for them to walk correctly as opposed to having a shoe with a stiff sole(more like a brick) they do match everything(I had pink/white Easter dresses on them and these shoes were perfect) they clean off easily(what baby isn't going to get their shoes dirty) I just wipe them off with a baby wipe or a damp rag, they are comfortable and soft on the inside with nice cushion(many of the other namebrand shoes I tried on them were not that cushiony) and most importantly, my girls LOVE Them. We also get compliments on them all the time, I'd actually like to get myself a pair.

My girls have the all white ones, size 4 & size 6. I love that they tie, we double knot them or they sometimes untie them but if we put velcro shoes on them, they can easily unsnap them and take them right off. These are easy to get on and easy to take off(for the parents) Also, one of my daughters is pretty flat-footed and has been walking more on the inside of her feet which made her walk funny...these shoes really help her to walk normal.

So, I definately recommend these shoes, I'll update if the shoes start to fall apart or anything but as of now, they are still looking like new and seem like they will last well beyond the use of 1 child(we've had them about 3 months) The traction on the soles is also really good.

I bought these sneakers for my preschooler. He went to school on gym day (twice a week) with them, and used them during the weekends. By the end of the third week, the soles had started falling off. I attempted to glue them back, but it only kept them in place for a few days. This process continued till they were not usable any more. Its been less than three months since I bought them and they are already on their way to the dumpster.

These are the only shoes I can wear now since discovering barefoot style shoes. Very comfortable and the toe box is wide enough that it doesn't cramp my toes. Do not ignore the special sizing direction of leaving room in front of the toe. The sole has good traction and I can use it to play table tennis in. The only issue I have with the shoe is the really cheap, low quality thread used in the construction. They fuzz out and break after a few washes and so the shoe is slowly coming apart before the sole has worn out. The threads are a low density poly thread with few twists per meter. It shouldn't cost much more to use a high quality poly thread and it will increase durability greatly.

Best Deals on Altra Men's Adam Running Shoe

I like this shoe for just knocking around the house and for street use. I do not intend to run in this shoe but will use it to strengthen my arches and allow my toes to spread out and eventually become more agile. I like the looks and feel of the shoe and am currently using the beefier insole. The quality is somewhat lacking in the stitching and am not sure how long the shoe will last. I continue to do my running in Altra Instinct shoes and Brooks Pure shoes. The Altra Adam ran true to size for my size 12 feet with wearing thin socks. If you are looking for a way to slowly break into the minimal shoe scene then the Adam shoe might be a good place to start.

I bought these shoes as a substitute shoe for when my Vibrams are in the wash. Although I love the Vibrams and have had a lot of success in them, I wanted to try something similar but without the separate toe pockets for each toe. This is about as close to the ground as you'll get with any shoe (with the insoles removed) and the overall feel is light and similar to barefoot running. The toe box is huge and there's loads of room to spread your toes according to the terrain, etc. However, the shape of the toe box is quite straight without much curve for the big toe and little toe. My feet are slightly curved, meaning the big toe isn't aligned with the inside of the ankle when looking down. This means that for people like me, there is going to be some rubbing against the big toe. The good thing is that this only happened the first three or four times wearing them and they seem to have loosened up now. They are not a perfect fit and I would recommend going one size larger if your feet are wide as you'll have the same problem as me. Overall, a smooth ride and they look cool. I have also been wearing them at work to soften them up and they don't get frowned at by my boss (who hated my vibrams!).

My Altra Adams arrived yesterday, so not much to report on durability yet. So far I love them! They are roomy and light weight. The box itself has printed information, there are two sets of insoles, and a pamphlet on how to use them!

This is the first time I've ever purchased shoes online. I've always felt the reviews weren't convincing enough to sway me to buy. That my feet are "different" and the reviewer probably has normal feet. So here are the details on my feet! LOL Sorry!

My largest foot is 10 5/8" (26.9875cm) long, and my widest foot is 4 1/4" (10.795cm). Of course, with my feet, the longer foot isn't the widest. Figures. The smaller feet of length and width are over 1/4" smaller.

I have a normalish arch, not high, not low, but I can't deal with a built in arch in a shoe. It feels like I have a rock in my shoe. My longest heel to ball is 7 3/8" (18.7325cm). My other foot's heel to ball is 7 1/4" (18.415cm). My feet are bony, my toes are long, knuckles like stubby fingers. I can use my toes like fingers to pick things up. I'll never be a foot model. Just ugly. I'd post a pic but you'd be disgusted.

I ordered a size 10 and I'm pleased! The box suggests you allow 1/2" between your longest toe and the end of the shoe, which is what I have with the size 10.

Getting the Adam on is a bit tight. It doesn't hurt or anything, just a tad bit of an effort. I figure, the shoe has to stay on somehow. I don't want the pressure across the top of my foot, being anchored to the sides, thus squeezing my foot width.

I wore the Altras yesterday without socks, I left in the insole that came in them. I got the start of a blister on one foot, after a mile walk, plus a dozen trips up and down stairs. Again I account this to that I don't usually wear shoes, and when I do they are very padded and fluffy. I wanted minimal shoes, and that's what these are.

I usually walk 2 to 4 miles a day. Altra suggests you try the Adams out with 1/10th of your normal mileage. I did 1/4, so I went over board there. We have dogs, the best motivator to exercise! After a day in the Adams I could feel my calves, hamstrings, and back. Not bad, just muscle use, like a work out. Today I'm feeling great and ready to go again.

Since I'm not a runner, nor well versed in zero-drop shoes, I won't go into much here. There's plenty to Google on the subject. What got me to think about a zero-drop shoe is that I have always preferred to be barefoot. That, maybe some of my issues with shoes was the drop. After years of dealing with what was my only options, I found skater shoes that worked well, and now these.

I love that the Adams have two independent straps. I can adjust just what needs adjusting. I love the wide toe box, my toes can spay to their hearts content. I just love these shoes!

Cheap The North Face Mens 'Ultra Guide' Trail Running Shoe

I really liked these shoes when I got them. But after 2-3 days started regretting my choice.

The sole is dangerously slippery on wet smooth surfaces. I am not talking about water on marble, but mildly wet surfaces with decent inherent traction like boardwalks. I wore them to the local trail and had to hold on to the railing to stop myself from falling on dew covered board walk.

Also the design shows poor orthopedic adaptability. I have been having intermittent shooting pain on my dorsal foot ever since I started using them. I have never refrained from using any product I purchased. These shoes are the first to deserve the honour.

I have loved north face, having owned their jackets and backpacks including the awesome hyvent alpha jacket. Unbelievable that north face would make such a bad product. Even worse was that my review in their site was not published and the customer support was pathetic.

Pson a positive note, they look descent, durable and have excellent traction on dry ground.

OK, so I have a couple of pair of North Face shoes for hiking, one a bit light for when the hiking is easy and the other more rugged and supportive pair for when the hiking is difficult. I had also been using the light pair for mountain biking as I use toe clips and not clipless pedals but then I found using them was wearing them out a bit quickly because the pedals also have screws sticking up into the shoe tread to hold the shoe to the pedal.

I decided to get a dedicated pair for biking and since that was the use for them I got a rather light pair, these Ultra Guides.

Well, they came mail order and I put them on to break them in a bit and after about an hour of wearing them around the house and in the garage for light work and through the yard I realized these have to be the most comfortable shoes I have ever bought. And for me they work for mountain biking too! I'm considering converting to toe clips on the road bike so I can be comfortable riding that too. I'm not a balls to the wall rider so the clipless pedals are a little overkill for me anyway.

OK, I realize everyone's foot is different, but mine is very average although just a bit small for athletic men at a size 8. But I don't have a high arch or a low one, bunions or any funny looking things. The other thing I can tell you about my foot is that Salomon ski boots (the very high performance ones) fit me right out of the box, no need to mold them to my foot.

OK, another thing. These were the first shoes I've had in about 6 years that weren't hiking shoes and they are less stable than what I was used to. I do make a point to buy very stable hiking shoes. That was kinda weird for the first hour and then I was used to it. Then, maybe the next ten times I put them on, the first few steps were weird but now I'm used to it and all I can say (again) is that these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had of any kind.

OK, so are there any drawbacks to them? Well, one maybe, if you have the same problem I do. My feet are cold most of the time except in summer. That's just me I guess, poor circulation maybe. I'm 60 now and this has been a problem back to when I was 20. Maybe even earlier but who notices anything except girls when they're a teenager. So, when the weather was cool I couldn't wear them when I wasn't doing much, I had to be exercising to keep my feet warm. Now that the lows are in the low 70s no problem for me regardless.

One last thing. I liked these so much, and now that I've had them for a couple of months, I decided to get a second pair now and put them aside so that I can get maybe 4 years or more out of both pairs. I just didn't want to risk them not being available when these wore out.

And speaking of wear, I don't see any yet but then it has not been long since they were bought.

I generally do not spend $100 on a pair of tennis shoes, but these were worth it. They are extremely comfortable and trendy looking too. Just to note, these shoes do not provide a lot of support for running, if that is what you are looking for. These shoes are very light weight and are comparable to Nike Free3 in terms of support. If you like running shoes with the most support possible, these may not be for you. I love them because I do not even notice them on my feet because they are so comfy!!!

I own and wear only barefoot type of shoes and have several different styles and brands. My everyday favorite shoe is the Vivobarefoot Ultra Pure shoe which I wear as a distance walking/running shoe on streets and on even surfaces. Recently I have started running on trails and rocky uneven surfaces and the Ultra's were a little thin-skinned for me. So, I bought and ran trails and gravel strewn roads with the Neo Trail.

They gave me the precise amount of extra protection without sacrificing the foot's sensitivity to the ground.

The shoe is extremely well designed and made and well worth the list price, but can be purchased (certain color schemes) at nicely discounted price from Amazon.

I am thrilled to have stumbled onto the Treksta brand. This is the first brand of hiking boot to actually fit my feet. They feel like a glove going on my feet. I wore these shoes on a 30 mile 3 day backpack trip out of the box without breaking them in and wearing only one pair of wool blend socks. Nary a blister. And that was with over 4,000 feet climb followed by descent. I just bought a pair of the assault shoes to complement the runners. They fit like a glove as well. Thank you Treksta!

If you plan on walking easy terrain, they may be ok. Otherwise there are better suited shoes for more rocky or hilly hiking/running. Sent back the first pair because of poor stitching directly at the heel cup, second pair had a slightly flatter stitch. Just came back from a 36 mile two day hike in PA which began with a blister on the heel after only a few hours of serious hiking. I would throw them out if I didn't spend so much on them. They'll be good enough for mowing the lawn, but that's about it.

A little rip did appear on one shoe after pretty exclusive and heavy wear for about seven months. They still seem waterproof, but it does suck that a hole wore in the fabric. I still wear them every time I play disc golf but wear other shoes now when I'm otherwise in public.

I spent 11 years wearing Saucony shoes for cross-training. The toe box was wider than in most other brands. However, I became so bored with the same styling year after year. Also, this year I had many problems with my ankles and tore the CFL behind my right foot, which was not only painful, but kept me off my feet and driving for an extended time. That caused me to restart my exercising and watching my diet in order to lose weight. But shoes were a problem. I purchased a pair of black dance shoes, which were great support for my exercising at home, but looked a bit strange walking aout outside, and they weren't meant for walking/running, anyway. On a recent vacation I finally tried alternatives to my Sauconys and, based on a suggestion, tried these wonderful Brooks shoes. WOW! What a difference!! They are so comfortable, have plenty of cushioning and support, and are extremely light. I never spent this much money on a pair of shoes before, but they are completely worth it. NOTE: While I take a size 8 in regular shoes, I was taking an 8.5 in Saucony, but went up to a size 9 in these (AND the dance shoes.) They are NOT too long, either. Just right. Now I have NO EXCUSE to delay my exercise program...YAY!

As someone who has struggled with getting the right fit of shoe most of my adult life, these were an awesome find. I'm in my later 20s, and for the last 15 years I've been dealing with bunions, wide foot width, and high instep (all inherited from my mother/grandmother). Because I've been focusing on finding wide widths, and they are so hard to find in person, almost all of my shoes came from online sellers. I struck out more than I struck gold.

I started running for exercise two months ago, staying mainly on a treadmill, and I found that the New Balance 606 shoes I had been wearing (they were my most comfortable shoe) were the worst thing ever to wear running. After seven days/seven running sessions, I strained the CFL ligament in the back of my heel and I could not run for more than two weeks. Walking was even painful. It was a lesson for meI need to take care of my feet!

I decided to go to a running store to try on shoes, and this was the first pair I was given to try. I was told I was an overpronator. What a nice feeling! After walking around the store with them on, and trying on others, I knew these were it. I got them home and started the treadmillwalking was wonderful so I tried running. Immediately I felt the cushioning in the shoe and the lightness of its weight.

In shortI have wide feet and these fit perfectly. The mesh forefoot area adjusts. The cushioning is great, very comfortable. I would definitely recommend these running shoes!

I expected to spend a ton of money on new running shoes, especially since I have flat feet. I decided to order these because they were such a great price and figured if they didn't work out for running I could probably still wear them around casually. I fully expected to be disappointed and have to head out to the running store for some expensive shoes. I was wrong! These are great! They fit well and keep my feet cool and comfortable. Most of the pain I was experiencing in my knees is completely gone since I started wearing these shoes. I really think they have helped compensate for my overpronation and flat feet and made me able to run faster and longer.
