Mizuno Men's Wave Nexus 6 Running Shoe Review
I am a runner of 35+ years and over 85,000 miles. I have a "neutral" foot strike and the Mizuno wave series is great for me. The Nexus 6 is awesome for medium to long runs. It's toe box is roomy and comfortable and the running life of the shoe is great.
I use my running shoes for only running and these last around 500 miles on road training and about 900 miles if you are a treadmill runner.
I appreciate the higher than usual heel but this can be subjective.

Got these about 3 weeks ago and have used them about 6 times. They are great out of the box and gets better with use. Just switched from Asics after over 10 years with different versions and am very pleased with these. I think I am a neutral striker with a normal arch and normal width feet. This is the second pair of the Mizuno Wave Nexus I have owned. I bought a different brand of running shoes after using my first pair almost a year. The other brand was just not as comfortable, though. I kept wearing my old pair of Wave Nexus shoes, despite them being completely worn out. I am glad to have gotten a second pair and happy to say they are as comfortable as the first! Comfortable as hell and the right fit (admittedly, after 10 years I know the size I need). New Balance Men's M770v2 Running Shoe Review
Background...
-Avid Recreational Runner... about 10 miles a week (wish can run more but has 3 small kids)
-Has run the MCM
-Has run several 10-milers or shorter
-Pace around 11:15 per mile
-Has plantar fasciitis (uses Medical insoles)... so no more marathons for a while
Enough of me now about the shoe. I "upgraded" to this shoe from the regular MR770. There wasn't much of a difference but I did notice a better and more comfortable padding. It's still overall the same shoe but newer.
PROS:
-COST... I paid $70 for the shoe... great value for a great shoe
-FIT... I have custom insoles that add about a half centimeter to my heel but I have no issues with the shoe slipping off (or feels like it's slipping off)
-Color... I got the Silver/Lime... not a bad liik
CONS:
-Quality... Overall it looks like it's well made (I've had it for about 3 weeks and has about 30 miles on it) but I did noticed that a small part of the edge of the sole is cracked & crumbling. No biggy, it's about 1cm from the side edge but it is something I noticed (might be just a lucky defect)
CONCLUSION:
Great Bang for the Buck... for the regular jogger or rec runner...

I have run about 20 miles on these sneakers so far and they seem to provide decent stability. I would have to say that these shoes are ok, but not great. After my first run I had to replace the insoles with something that would give me more support. For the price they are decent running shoes. Great shoe, wide running shoe, nice for road or trails very sharp. These are my road/trail shoes. I have Rebook Flex as my track shoes and love both. I have wider feet. I have very wide new balance walking shoes. These fit great, more snug than the walking shoes , which is what you want for running shoes-but not to tight. Very pleased. Purchased these to replace a 2 year old pair of running shoes (not frequently used). They fit perfectly and felt like the old ones--except cushioning in sole is MUCH better (as expected). These are a good overall shoe for someone with no specific symptom/running style who will be running on level surfaces. For me, NB has consistently provided shoes that fit across many different styles (running, tennis, minimal, etc.). I run 5K an average of 5-6 days a week. My shoes seem to last about 3 months so I hate buying expensive versions since they tend to lose the cushioning so soon.I like New Balance and these were a great price!

My son simply did not like this shoe and he is generally not a fussy kid when it come to clothes. He gave me a lot of trouble to put them on. It was difficult to put on even when he was sleeping. I am not writing off saucony, but definitely will be cautious. The shoe looks good and is flexible

Cheap Skechers Men's Vigor Insight Lace Up
I typically go through a pair of Nike in 5-6 months. I wear them to work, home, garden, mowing the lawn, etc. My wife gave me a pair of these for Christmas and I am just not replacing them 8 months later. These are the most durable, comfortable, and good-looking shoes I have ever owned. The dark color hides the scuffs and scratches well, so they look great even when wearing out. These would have held up even longer had I not gotten them wet several times. I think that's what finally did these in. So, I am ordering a new pair today.
PROS:
*Here you can pick out what you want, and if you know a certain size traditionally fits you, then it is safe to order it here.
*I find Sketchers to be a high quality, yet affordable choice in sneakers.
*This particular style looks very nice, even better than it looks in the photos on Amazon.
*No pesky salesperson asking if they "can help you" 5 or 6 times while you are in the store shopping. No, you can't help me if you don't stock anything I really like in my size.
*The price here is within a few dollars either way of what you would expect to pay anyways in the shoe store.
*This is the first pair of sneakers I have ever dared to order on-line. Nice to know it wont be the last.

I like Sketchers because the size I need seems to always fit in the shoe stores. The problem is, my size (11.5 wide) is only available in local shoe stores in very limited varieties. For years I have been disappointed that the Sketchers I really liked were NEVER the size I needed. As a result, I always "settled" for something in my size that was the least ugly. No more!PROS:

Buy Brooks Women's PureCadence 2 Lightweight Running Shoes
I recently purchased these shoes and after just a few runs I can already tell they will be my new shoe. I have always liked the idea of a minimalist shoe but after straining the tendons on the top of my foot running in Vibrams I went back to regular running shoes. After two years I developed back pain and realized I needed to refine my running stride to land more on my toes rather than my heel. Well, regular old running shoes didn't cut it for me anymore. The front of my foot would start to go numb after just a few miles and the tendons in my feet started becoming more and more sore. So, I knew I needed a minimal shoe but still needed support in my arch and on the top of my foot. These shoes are perfect!! They are comfy, light, support me where I need it and no more numb toes!
My only regret expressed to Brooks, and word of caution to users, is that they do not come in a wide width. My feet are rather squared on the end and borderline too wide for regular width in Brooks shoes, and while there is plenty of room in the toe box for them, there was a small place on the instep of the shoe that after running several miles began to rub my instep on my right (and wider) foot. Now that the blister has healed I have a little callous there, so I no longer have the issue. But be warned if you have wider feet, these may not work for you. I hope Brooks will make a slightly wider PureCadence in the future.
On a shallower note, I really like the bold color choices in this line.

I purchased these from a local running store because I was nervous about not getting to try them on first. I have been wearing Brooks Adrenaline for a couple years now with much success. I got them at the advice of my doctor because I had been having extreme trouble with plantar fasciitis. I was nervous about switching because I've been so successful with the adrenalines. I am so delighted with the change! The PureCadence has a dropped heal, which is intended to make the foot strike midfoot and give you a smaller, more natural stride. I felt the change in my calf muscles after my first run, but now I don't notice any difference at all. I feel the lower heel even keeps my plantar fascia at a better stretch and is improving. I think my speed is also improving in these shoes. I am not losing any of the support, but the shoe is lighter and more natural.My only regret expressed to Brooks, and word of caution to users, is that they do not come in a wide width. I bought this shoe because I own 2 pairs of the Brooks Pure Cadence, both of which I ran marathons in. I just took my Pure Cadence 2 for a 9 mile run and they are not nearly as comfortable as the original shoe. There seems to be added arch support which gave me blisters in my arches (something the Pure Cadence didn't do) and it feels like they are a different material on the inside of the shoe which makes my foot slip around a bit more. Best ASICS Women's GEL-Excel33 2 Running Shoe Deals
This is by far the most comfortable pair of neutral running shoes I've owned. I am a 45 year old 5 mile-a-day runner with high arches and occasional plantar fasciitis. No pain with these shoes. They fit true and have just enough cushioning. The Asics Nimbus had too much gel which made running in them uncomfortable, with some upper foot pain. Very happy with these shoes, will be purchasing a 2nd pair.

Best Skechers Women's Skip Away Fashion Sneaker Deals
This is my first pair of Skechers in this casual style and I love them they are unbelievably comfortable, like soft, snug slippers. The first time I wore them, I went on a 3 km walk on a hot day and they were a dream it's the whole walking on clouds cliche, but it's true! I wear these everywhere, but they're especially suited for walking my dog : it's great that the soles are flexible and lightweight, because we walk over uneven, sloping grass or otherwise run at breakneck speed along the footpath (well, it's my 5 kg dog-who-thinks-she's-a-husky pulling me..).
I'd say these are true to size : my usual shoe size is 7.5 8 but I bought these in 8.5 as previous Skechers I had seemed slightly small, and I intended to wear these with soft terry insoles for sockless wear. Without insoles, I think 8 would have been the best size. With the insoles, the 8.5s are a perfect fit snug on your foot, but in a good way, and with the stretchy material, it basically molds to your foot. But importantly, it stretches as your foot swells when it's hot and does not feel restrictive, even at the band across the top. I also love how my narrow heels don't slip in these (my heels always slip in shoes I usually need to insert heel grips). With my other Skechers in the slip on biker style, my heels can slip and ankles feel unstable so I definitely prefer these.
The only issue I had was with a hard, sharp edge in one of the shoes from what feels like a poorly cut edge of the plastic support at the back of the shoe it was immediately noticeable but easily fixed by applying fabric sticking plaster over the troublesome spot. (Note sticking plaster works wonders for rough/sharp spots or stitches in shoesbut the trick is to stick it to your shoes, not your feet.)
So these are clearly a winner and I'll be getting a lot of use from them. If you intend wearing them without socks, I would definitely recommend getting terry insoles designed for sockless wear to absorb sweat and also deodorise them I don't think the scent in the original sole would be that pleasant after a while...

I love Skechers and I love the look of these. As soon as I left the house in these I knew it was going to be bad, but I had to catch a bus to work. I wore them on my commute to work, and changed into my work shoes, and then put them back on after the workday was over. I had to run errands after work, but they hurt so badly I went to the Payless that is about a 15 minute walk from my job. I bought these for my granddaughter to wear to school. She loves them, now I can't get to wear any others! With the white netting they do get dirty but cleans easily. They are light weight, not heavy like a lot of other athletic shoes and she says they are comfortable. Highly recommended.
