The best part of these shoes is the rounder front with soft padding. My daughter has had an instance of an in-grown toe nail and was recommended to wear shoes with a wider front. Most cleats from Sports Authority and Big 5 were narrow, tight, and hard toe, but these fit her very comfortably. Aside from the comfort, they looked great, and she was happy she did not have the same Mizuno's or Nike's everyone else was wearing.

These cleats fit my foot perfectly, and they were very comfortable. I was worried about size accuracy, but I ordered my size, an 8.5, and they were perfect for my foot. They felt very worn in when I tried them on. I had to return them, however, because I didn't realize that they have metal cleats which aren't allowed in rec ball. I was really disappointed that I had to return them because they were truly very comfortable.

I love these shoes. My son is normally a size 6 in kids; so I purchased a size 6.5 in mens and it fits perfectly. The larger sizes definitely tend to run small (my other son is normally a size 11.5, so im awaiting a size 13 because the size 12 was too small).

To work, dog walking/running, on pavement, on gravel, on rough terrian, you name it. Now, these shoes are not made for cold or wet conditions but they are very durable and worth the money just on how good they feel on your feet.

Some of the best shoes I've ever worn. Straight out of the box these shoes are light as a feather and feel like walking on air. I cannot recommend these enough, and I'll be buying another pair.

So, it's been a month or so since I bought these shoes and I wanted to come back and update after wearing these for awhile.

I bought these originally for work. I am on my feet all day and mostly on concrete. I had a pair of Hilfiger shoes I was wearing before that just killed my feet. These shoes are so awesome to wear I've not been wearing them just for work, but find myself putting them on everytime I leave the house. For walking the dogs, dinner, a trip to the store.

I need to order another pair now so I don't wear these out to fast!

Still holding by my original statement that these shoes are unreal. They are really like walking on a cushion of air, and I nearly bounce stepping along in them.

For all the people saying "Yeah it's a great shoe but it's only in camo" etc etc etc... It's a TRAIL SHOE. It's not a tennis shoe, it's not a walking shoe, it's not a gold shoe. Don'e like weird funky colors/patterns? Don't buy trail shoes for walking in, buy something else.

For the price this is probably the best TRAIL shoe money can buy.

My son always have issues with sneakers because he complains that his right toes always hurt after a few wears. We tried getting wide width but even that doesn't work. These shoes arrived yesterday and he loved that they were red. I loved that they were adjustable with the 2 Velcro straps for him to adjust the right side. It was also roomy enough that there were no complaints! He wore them all day and is very excited to show them off to friends today. We are both very happy with the purchase. I hope to update this review after 90 days.

PediPeds were be best shoes when my son was learning to walk. I thought these shoes would be good quality as well. I was wrong. The initial construction is shoddy... misaligned seams etch. Then the shoes started separating in multiple areas. DC and Converse shoes held up much better than these. I was hoping these had better support and orthopedic design. Waste of money.

These red/white shoes were a really good buy so I was going to save them for next summer. However, I've decided to return them. As soon as I opened them, my husband said that they were too ugly to wear. I don't think they're that bad for summer, but I did not like the thick sole on the shoes. The child's foot is raised significantly off the ground in these shoes when compared to other shoes like Stride Rite. I did like the flex system though. You get an extra insert to put under the existing insert. It's supposed to make the shoes fit tighter so that you can then remove it as the foot grows and get more wear from the shoes. I'm not sure how well it works, but it's a nice idea anyway.

I didn't realize pediped had bigger sizes, so I was extremely excited to see them appear in a search for tennis shoes when looking for my 4yo son. I also ordered the Stride Rite Bruce Sneaker (Little Kid) at the same time just so I could be sure I was picking the best shoe. (Also, my son has always had kind of thick feet and not all pre-laced shoes fit him or go on easy enough.)

My first thought was WOW they are super lightweight--tennis shoes have come a LONG way (or maybe just compared to the Target-brand tennis shoes he had before.) The Stride Rite were also very light...so the test came in putting them on. And, as I mostly expected, the pediped won out easily...the elastic pre-laced laces of the Stride Rite just did not easily accommodate my son's thick foot. The pedipeds, with the dual velcro straps, was a cinch--and my son can easily put them on by himself.

He loves them and calls them his Hotwheels shoes because they go fast! He also says they're good at stopping! :)

I'd definitely recommend these shoes.

Cheap Clarks Men's Quantock Run GTX Oxford

This is a great everyday shoe. However, like all Clark shoes (for me) it tends to run a bit large. I normally wear a size 13 in athletic and casual shoes and had to order a 12 in this shoe. The 13s were way too long.

Like most shoes/boots made with Gore-tex, they tend to run a bit hot in warm weather, but this feature is a bit of a plus in the winter, and your feet don't get wet.

I bought these shoes because I was looking for flat bottomed shoes for days I do leg workouts at the gym. When I got them I was surprised at how little cushioning there was and thought immediately that I could never run or do any kind of cardio while wearing them. I have problems with the outsides of my feet about 15-20 minutes into a cardio workout on an elliptical or bike where they just start to burn and ache because I tend to walk on the outsides of my feet. I've tried several types of running shoes and for the most part got the same results. My cousin suggested I try running barefoot and that gave me the idea to give these a shot. I thought I would run 20 feet and have to turn around to change shoes. When I walk in them I can feel the contour of the ground and gravel, etc. so I was shocked when I ran and my feet didn't hurt at all. I've now also done about three hours total on an elliptical machine with these and had no discomfort in my feet at all. For me that is miraculous. I'm sure hard core runners are thinking I'm an idiot for buying pricier running shoes and then discovering they're great for running but I've bought other running shoes that didn't help at all so these are different, at least for me, from other standard running shoes and I didn't buy them so I could run in them. I wouldn't have bothered writing a review if not for how pleasantly surprised I was with these shoes. I am very pleased with them. They are comfortable, cool (temp-wise) and they do look good as well.

I am always on the look out for a durable comfy shoe. I am on my feet all day and hate hard soled shoes, they make my feet tired or hurt. These shoes have soft rubber soles with a think foam cushion inside. I walk my dog every evening no matter what the weather (not in the snow of course). This shoe works well for me in my gardens (2 acres). The leather keeps the water out, yet they breath very well. For a tennis shoe they are attractive. I just love this shoe!!!!!

Nice, lightweight sneakers could do with more cushioning or a better insole. Here are the Pros and Cons hopefuly this will assist some of you:

PROS

* Nice stretchy, soft leather no blisters at all!

That is actually important as it is not that easy to find soft leather shoes which are comfortable and don't need 'breaking in'.

* Good width ordered the C/D and they were great, true to width. Appropriate toe room, too.

* Light in weight a plus.

* Amazon's service and shipping was great (as usual). Thank you.

CONS

* Run a little long: they run somewhat longer than other shoes I have in the same size (not Keds so perhaps it is the normal Keds' sizing?). It feels half a size longer.

* Cushioning/arch support totally lacking.

From reading some older, pervious reviews, it seems that Keds used to have these sneakers with proper cushioning and arch support, however, lately decided to highly compromise on both (maybe since they moved their production to China?)... that is a real pity as they suppose to be comfort shoes.

I walked with them first as they are, without adding any additional insoles, and my feet got truly sore. So extra insloes (for cushioning and arch support) are a must for those with sensitive feet.

* Shoe laces a little too basic/cheap, I would expect a nicer/fancier/better quality ones but that is not a big deal and it might just be me...

* Color (for the 'Stone' ones) a bit different than the Amazon image

On the whole, they could be excellent comfort shoes if only Keds had put some extra effort into cushioning and some final touches something I did expect reading their description.

Best Columbia Men's North Plains Water Proof Trail Shoe Deals

The first thing that we do (and you should do too) when we purchase waterproof shoes is to conduct a home waterproof test, because with mass production in Asia, you never know.

To conduct the test, we fill our very clean sink with cold water approximately 3 inches.

While it is filling we run just the toe section of the shoes under the tap for 1 minute each holding them at an angle to make sure that the water only hits the front of the shoe.

When the sink is up to 3 inches, using a completely dry hand to hold the shoe from the inside, with the laces inside the shoe, we dip the toe section ONLY of each shoe into the sink until 3 inches from the toe of the shoe are covered in water, and hold it steady there for 30 seconds.

Afterwards we place both shoes down on a towel and wait 15 minutes to see how well the waterproof material blocked the water.

In the case of this Columbia shoe, the left shoe was completely dry and passed.

Unfortunately the right shoe had a puddle of water in it--the water basically ran completely through the top toe part of the shoe as if there was no insulation at all.

Shoes returned.

This is the first set of footwear I've purchased online, so I was very skeptical. Shipped right on the given date. These shoes are VERY comfortable and almost feel like a pair of slippers when you're wearing them. Although I haven't put them through their paces (I.e. water, snow, etc), they seem very well constructed and I expect them to last. If you're looking fr a comforatble shoe that looks good and well built then I would recommend these in a heart beat.

Columbia changed their sizing. The Columbia boot I'm replacing is marked USA 11, UK 10.5, and EUR 45 1/3 the new boot is marked USA 11, UK 10, and EUR44. So the boots are actually the same size and 10 1/2 shoes.

No joke, these are running shoes. If you're looking for something stylish and comfortable to walk around in all day, these will suffice, but Saucony has some better options. Heel to toe, they're sized accurately, but running shoes are usually narrower and tighter around the toes, and that's the case with these. All that being said, they're what I expected and I'm very pleased. They come with the tan laces pictured and an extra pair in matching green, which was a nice surprise. The "tan" is closer to an olive-drab, military-style green to my eyes, but I haven't been right since I saw "Avatar" so who knows.

Please heed the warnings that others have posted. These shoes run small. You will need to get a 1/2 size bigger. I was looking for a cool looking casual sneaker for everyday use....THESE ARE NOT built for that. These are a low profile running shoe with zero support. I found them to be a little uncomfortable in that regard as well. I've tried New Balance Minimus and Nike Free's. These felt more like wearing a pair of Converse All-Stars than a minimal running shoe. Granted I couldn't get past the fact that they were so tight that I couldn't wear them for more than an hour. I wish I would have tried them on somewhere before buying. If you have a chance...do that before purchase.

I got these because of the color combination.

I have 2 other pairs, one Vegan, one non-Vegan.

They are great sneakers, however, the Vegan are much less comfortable around the ankles than the non-Vegan, which are great.

It is noticeable but not that bad which is why i give it 4 stars.

I can't yet speak to their trail worthiness as I haven't gone on my hiking trip, but these shoes felt great right out of the box. I've owned other pairs of Ecco hikers and loved them. These seem to be as good as the ones I've owned in the past. They're lightweight and flexible and true to Ecco, the cushioning around the ankle is great. Plenty of room in the toe box, but with a good, secure, snug fit. I normally wear a 9.5, but I routinely order the 41's and they fit great with a good hiking sock.

Once you get them to the length you want you just use the little lock, cut off the excess and stick the knot in the little end cap and forget about it. My kind of easy! There are two ways you can use them, for regular usage you can move the toggle to tighten and loosen them as necessary.
