AVIA Men's Avi-Maximus Running Shoe Review
I've been searching for a low drop athletic shoe for running and training. I looked at all the big brands and couldn't bring myself to spend the $$$. I'm on a budget and don't have a lot for extras but my previous training shoes were all but threads. I've tried the barefoot thing and know that I need some protection.
First Impressions:
These are my first "low drop" shoes and as such felt a little weird(good weird) when I first put them on. I did some body weight squats and could instantly feel how the shoes promote driving through the heel. I then took a short, light run and was pleased that the shoes also promote a mid-foot/fore-foot strike. All this was with socks. The following morning I took a "vigorous" walk for a couple of miles pushing my daughter in a jog stroller. I did this sock-less and was pleased that there were no raw spots and the shoes breathed very well.
Fit:
I'm 6'1", 178 lbs, and wear a size 8.5 which is the size I ordered. Putting the shoe on was no problem, the lace system is easy to manipulate. The heel-pocket really seems to grab the foot and keep it there. The shoes loosens up as you move from mid-arch to the fore-foot. The toe box of the shoe is roomy and allows for splaying of the toes and makes for very stable maneuvering and a surefooted feel. The padding is minimal but not "barefoot" minimal. You can feel the ground well but not every pebble. The upper seems rugged and is decently flexible while providing support. If you're looking for a barefoot feel shoe this is not it.
Overall I'm really happy with these shoes and hope that Avia is still making them when I need a new pair. I intend to update this review after a few months of use. So far these shoes are wicked awesome.

Timberland PRO Men's 65030 Direct Attach 6" Soft Toe Boot Reviews
Ive been buying these boots for about two years now, and the only reason I kept going back and purchasing them was for the fit/comfort. No break in period for these boots the fit great right out of the box. I work in road construction, and these boots do not hold up. They are good for about four months of hard work then they just start to fall apart. The steel toe wears through the leather, the stitches on the sides pop, and the soles wear out faster than cheap tires on a dragster. Ive probably spent at least 600 dollars over the past few years on these boots, and now Ive switched to a more expensive better warrantied boot. If you want a temporary boot that looks good and fits great these are for you, but for around fifty more dollars you can get yourself something that will last a lot longer.
In any case, overall, everyone I talked to was very professional and accommodating.
Great styling is why I bought the shoes for but it surprised me in other perfornamce avenues for e.g. its simply great in the snow. Its very light for its size and very comfortable to wear for long hours. It is water resistant like they claim.
Overall, expensive shoe but you get what you pay for, a great buy for those who need it or want it just for the styling.
By the way, I bought the shoes at Sears and it was a great experience, they even exchanged the shoe for a different size few days later without issues.

BareBones did a great job in accommodating me. The first pair of shoes had a defect, which I discovered after wearing them. Returned them for an exchange. They even reimbursed me for return shipping. However, upon receipt of the second pair, discovered the same defect. They don't make the shoes so I blame Timberland for that, but Barebones could have more closely scrutinized the second pair.In any case, overall, everyone I talked to was very professional and accommodating.

The 2 stars are ONLY because the shoe looks amazing and NOT because of durability!!! I bought Air Max 2013 for my 9 yr. old son and liked them so much I bought me a pair of womens. WELL...the 3rd day of school I get a call from my son asking me to bring him a pair of shoes because his bubble popped. Knowing how boys are I assumed he was the culprit for playing too rough BUT I inspected the shoe and noticed right away it was not his fault. I called and another pair was sent out immediately...HOWEVER after wearing my new pair after 2 days the bubble popped!! NEEDLESS to say I will not be buying these again. Cheap Vivobarefoot Men's Breatho Trail Trail Running Shoe
I had bought a pair several months ago for myself. The sizes run a little big. I would recommend ordering on size smaller than what you normally wear. Otherwise they are a comfortable fit. I bought this pair for my spouse after I had a chance to try mine out on some mild rock climbing/hiking. When I say rock climbing I mean boulders, not the kind with ropes and climbing straight up a cliff. They offer some good grip against the smooth rocks.
Also, these shoes want to grip carpet a little too much.
Over-all an excellent shoe! As long as the wearer has trained using a minimal shoe before.

These shoes are great for running on rugged muddy trails and any steep incline or decline. I have yet to lose grip in any running terrain. The only place that I've noticed a decrease in grip is on wet boardwalk. But really, I don't know what grips that material. . .Also, these shoes want to grip carpet a little too much.
Over-all an excellent shoe! As long as the wearer has trained using a minimal shoe before.

Puma Men's Voltaic III Nm Fashion Running Shoe Review
I bought these shoes in white with the lime stripe. I already knew judging by the picture that this was one pretty shoe. And those thoughts just don't normally come to me when looking at a shoe. In person, they are just stunning (they also come in a neat bag resembling a miniature reusable grocery bag that will now serve as my lunch bag).
However, as nice as an athletic shoe can look, functionality is always more important. These don't disappoint. They have all the supports in the heel, toe and arch that I needed without sacrificing weight or comfort, and they encourage proper form. They have a small forward movement encouragement built in (that feeling when you walk in running shoes that it's trying to make you move forward) but it's not as much as other brands of running shoes so they stays just as comfortable to walk in as they are to run in. The toe runs a little wider than normal as well, so your feet don't feel cramped in, but that can also be uncomfortable for you at first as your muscles adjust--but when are breaking in new running shoes not a little uncomfortable? If you're a double knotter, good luck, they give you just enough lace to pull it off. I haven't had a problem yet with the laces becoming untied with a single knot, but then again, I tuck my laces in anyway.
I can't yet label them the best running shoes I've ever owned because I've had them for such a short time, but they're already one of the best!
I run with these on the beach boardwalk everyday and I usually catch a glimpse of my shoes in the reflections of the shop windows as I run by and they look even better in motion. You WILL get a flood of compliments for sure (immediately) and you'll be more encouraged to run more as you see better results as well. A great investment as far as I'm concerned!

He has this shoe in about five colors and keeps two of them for casual wear because he loves them so much. The grey is very nice looking, he has some of the other colors that we have purchased other places. I wear a 44DD. Bought this in an XL (the largest they come in). If you have large breasts, you know that different manufacturers fit differently in the same size. Adidas makes a GREAT sports bra in XL for girls well endowed. Got what looked like the same thing from Nike, but it was super tight.. Once I got it on, it held the girls in place quite well, in fact it squeezed them tight, but then I could barely get the bra off. It is very very tight. I would say not to get this unless your a c cup or under and in good shape if you know what I mean. Too tight. I liked the material though, it's a solid bra if you fit in it properly.
Pros Great support for running, looks good, very comfortable, and fits well (perhaps a little snug).

I only wear Nike tennis shoes. So I thought this would be a good sandal for me. I love the fit and how it adjusts. The only thing I am not found of is the sole where my feet walk on is all bumpy has these little rubber nobs on the insole. I am not very found of that but I am hoping to get used to them. I received these today. They are so pretty I will use them for dress shoes. They are very classy. Since I have them in Light grey and pink I am sure they will be as comfortable. I bought these with a gift card I received for Christmas. So, I ordered them in my size or so I thought. When they arrived they had a tag that said Wide Width on them and boy was I disappointed. I looked at the order and it didn't say that online. So I tried them on anyway and they seem to fit. So, not sure if they would be significantly wider than normal or not. I do tie the laces tighter than I usually. I kept 'em and have gotten a lot of compliments on them as well. They are extremely comfortable.
