My daughter wanted red leather soccer cleats at a reasonable price and we were very excited to find these. They fit great and she loved them. Unfortunately after about a month, the plastic sole of the left shoe started to separate from the body of the shoe at the toe. A few days later the same thing started on the right shoe. They have gotten to the point where I think they are dangerous to play with and I am afraid she will trip on the area where the shoe is separating from the sole. A small rock got caught in that space the other day. She wants to get another pair of these but I am worried we will have the same problem. I am hoping that maybe this was just a defective pair and the next one will be ok. We have never had any other problems with Nike shoes.I loved this soccer shoes.. it is very smooth, soft and it is made by high quality materials.. nothing bad to declare!!

Review of Vivobarefoot Men's Ultra Running Shoe
I don't live in an amazing place like Portland, where running is as much a part of life as McDonald's is to a seven year old. I live in Texas, and to be more specific West Texas. There are no beautiful, rolling hills with wonderful, cushy trails on which to patter your feet...there is asphalt. Asphalt and the twist and turns of residential neighbourhoods with barking dogs and cars driven by old ladies that can't help but steer their Cadillacs in your direction because their hands follow their eyes.
I, like many of you , wanted to see what this "barefoot revaluation" was all about, so I did my research and made the "transition." I have to say, I'm now a believer. Also, like many of you, I own five or six pairs of minimalist shoes because we are all looking for that Holy Grail. I had heard of this unusual shoe company that I could never remember their name, and when I did, felt kind of stupid saying it because it was not short and catchy and didn't rhyme with bikey or basic. It was quite by chance that I ended up with a pair of Vivobarefoot Ultras anyway. I had read all the great reviews about the Evos, but they were too damn expensive and heavy. Amazon had a pair of Ultras for $50 or so, so that was my opportunity to try out this company at a more affordable price. I got the shoes in, and long story short, grew to LOVE them for the types of roads that I run on. Many Ultra wearers don't use the insert, I do. Many complain about the sizing issue, if you're going to wear the insert, size up, if not, stick to your normal size. Some complain about the squishiness of the shoes as well. Maybe they're too soft for Portland runners, but after 10+ miles on asphalt, a little squishy ain't bad.
Now the bad news. According to Vivobarefoot, these shoes are not really designed as a pure running shoe, therefore the sole is not as durable as the famous Evo sole. Well, at a third of the price of Evos, and with good technique (that red "V" on the bottom of the sole is there for a reason), I've been able to get 300 miles out of my Ultras, so far. I think I'll get a couple of hundred more. This makes them almost the perfect asphalt shoe, for me. If the design team would put just a bit of rubber across the ball of the foot, I think I could almost double that. That's why they are ALMOST the perfect asphalt shoe; durability of the sole is a bit lower than ideal, but then again, they are not designed for what I use them for exactly.
If you are like me, have transitioned to minimalist shoes, and run mainly on asphalt, the Ultras may fit the bill for you as well. If not, then they are worth it just to wear and try to explain to folks exactly what those things are that you have on your feet.
The first is the sizing. They seem to run smaller than the Vibrims, especially with the bootie in. Without it they are about the right size, but when installed they are a little small. As they run in full sizes, my fear is that the next size up would fit fine with the bootie installed but be much too large without it.
The second is the flexibility of the back of the heel. It is much too stiff and after only about a quarter mile of running barefoot in them they chopped into my achilles and made it bleed. If I run with the booties or socks it is not as bad however this kind of defeats some of the point. In fact the pain of it digging in changed my stride enough that I started lading on my heel to avoid it. Probably the worst thing "barefoot" shoes could do.
In all they do feel the ground really well, breathe even better, and the quality of the shoes is excellent. However without more flexibility in the heel I can't run in them barefoot which negates much of its strengths.
Ok a little about sizing. I'm a 44 in vivo's. And the ultras would be to tight with the liner. Nike frees 11 1/2. Clarks 10 1/2. Army combat boots 10 1/2 wide. Hope this helps.
This shoe comes with an inner built-in sock, which is attached with 2 plastic buttons to the shoe one in the back of the shoe (A big polygon button) and another at the bottom of the tongue. The sock is a bit tight, so I took it out. If I don't use socks, my sweaty feet feel kind of funky in the rubbery shoe. So I use cheap black no-show socks and they're fine. The big, big deal about these shoes:
First, so easy to clean! Use a stiff brush under running water, and you can scrub in an out of the shoe. Let it airdry and you're set!
Second, the big hole in the back of the shoe when you don't use the built-in sock you can pull your gym pants through this hole so you don't step on it. I find that all gym pants are too long, and so sticking them into the back of the shoe, and pulling them out through the back hole solves trhe issue!
Just a great shoe when you don't like padding. With 4 of these pairs, my first one lasting into its second year, possibly 3 I should be set for the decade.

I have now had these for about three weeks. Having a friend who had a pair of Evo IIs and being a bare foot runner I was very excited to try these out. I have run in Vibrims quite a bit and really only have two complaints with them. That they don't breathe well, and they actually have quite a bit between your feet and the road. The Vivo Ultras definitely solved these two issues; unfortunately I have two other issues that are even worse.The first is the sizing. They seem to run smaller than the Vibrims, especially with the bootie in. Without it they are about the right size, but when installed they are a little small. I was looking to buy the ultra's in gray.. And the red was all they had in my size. But I'm happy now that it worked out the way it did! I'm a barefoot runner and take my shoes of where ever I can.. Which isn't at the gym^^ but if your like me and hate 5 fingers. Then this company is for you! A wide tow box, supper thin sole.. You can feel everything. Your feet will feel free.. I've retired from barefoot ultra-running, and now spend a couple hours a day in the gym on the elliptical, doing mainly jumping exercises. I'm never comfortable in standard padded shoes, and the really bare-footed shoes like Vibram's Five Finger line is a little odd-looking (I have a few pairs and never use them). I picked up the white version of this shoe the first time for around $90 and thought it's a little overpriced for its actual quality when examined in person. But here on Amazon, I found extra pairs for under $50. A bargain! I work in a hospital. I purchased these because I wanted a minimalist shoe for work and didn't want to wear funny-looking VibramFiveFingers or a moccasin that would slide around. So far, these have turned out great for my purposes, although as an overall shoe, they have some drawbacks. The outer plastic casing has a removable fabric insert. While the shoe fits me very well, the insert does not. The insert crushes my toes and the ball of my foot, which is exactly what a minimalist shoe should not do. It also smelled like a gym locker after only two wearings. So I had to remove the insert. However, after I did, the shoe was great. I wear it with a pair of socks, and it ventilates well, never smells bad, and feels comfortable and light. My co-workers think the shoes look great. Some people have expressed concern that the shoes have holes that could let through body fluids, but the truth is, so do crocs, which many hospital workers wear, and fabric running shoes will let fluids soak through the fabric. I can't imagine running in these shoes, and I think if I wore them without socks, the back of the shoe would rub my Achilles tendon, but I am satisfied overall.

I would recommend this shoe to someone who has a wider foot. I've ran in ASICS wide running shoe for years and have always had a good fit. I've tried others and always went back to the ASICS. It was a comfortable run the first time a went out running.

Usually I only stick with Adidas, but I did try these on at a sports shop. Later saw them online for a cheap amount & pulled the trigger. These Equation 5 Asics are comfy and support really well when walking around. It's my "chillin" shoe. Saucony Women's Endorphin Spike MD3 Track Shoe Review
I was very excited to purchase these spikes because of the cool coloring, light weight, and my previous satisfaction with Saucony. I LOVE saucony shoes for myself, but this was the first pair of childrens shoes I have bought. They held up better then any other tennis shoes I have bought my daughter and still look good. She has had them for 6+ months and is now just about grown out of them, but they are still fabulous!

RYKA Women's Aqua Fit 4 Shoe Reviews
I take water aerobics 5 times a week and needed more support than the bargain-store shoes I had been buying. This shoe definitely is great support-wise. The disappointment comes from the fit. I found it a little snug and difficult to get on and off. I have yet to be able to adjust it, since there appears to be little extra room in the tie. This is the size I have always used, but maybe I should have ordered a 1/2 size up.

I really liked this shoe with the exception that it is too narrow and the shoe laces are not long enough to make easy to get on or off. I have a narrow foot and ordered a medium width. Was extremely narrow. Struggled to put the shoe on because the laces are very short. Can't even imagine if shoe was even a little damp. Sizing was good. Overall support was good. Wore them sitting at the computer for a little while debating if I could adjust to the snug fit but decided in the end that they would probably chaf so I ended up returning. Would be tempted to order again if I could get in wide width. I have taught Aquja Aerobics for the past 8 years at LA Fitness in Vista, CA, and the only water areobics shoe, bar none, that fits the best, lasts the longest, is the Ryka Women's Aqua Fit 4 shoes which I have 4 pairs of. My husband bought me your latest model with the lime green, which I did not have. I do not have to buy these shoes frequently because they do not fall apart and last forever, and I teach 2-6 aqua classes a week, so the shoes get lots of wear and tear in the water since I teach mostly in the water and not on the deck. I would recommend these shoes to everyone. Some of my students cannot buy them because they cost more than they can afford, but you get what you pay for. They may be a bit pricey for some, but you get your money's worth because they last forever and you do not have to purchase the shoes over and over again like the cheaper shoes that fall apart every other month. The RYKA Women's Aqua Fit 4 shoe is poorly designed. The worst thing about it is the lacing/locking system. The shoe cannot be opened widely enough to get the foot in without causing the tongue to roll under. It takes several tries to get the shoe on comfortably. In order to avoid frustration, I found it necessary to cut out the laces and insert standard tieable shoe laces. Additionally, the sole of the shoe is poorly designed to prevent slipping in the pool. I've been doing water aerobics for over 10 years and have never nearly fallen until I started wearing these shoes. This was a bad purchase! Not at all what an experienced user expected from Ryka.

I have been running for ten years and have tried a variety of shoes, my favorite being Saucony, Addidas bounce, and Asics. I was skeptical to try a shoe out of those brands because every time I do I am disappointed, but I am so glad I did. This shoe is so light weight and yet very cushioned. It fits like a glove. The other advantage to these are that they do not have long laces that I have to tie. Instead, the design is on a slide clip. At first although I loved that about the shoe... it seemed harder to get on as you cannot open them wide, but once you get the foot in, it feels perfect and you don't even need to tighten the laces at all. Similar to a clog, slide and go... They really are the best running shoes for comfort, ease, function, and form. I love them and would highly recommend. They are also very pretty. I am not flashy at all so I was worried that they would be too loud. not at all. Nice colors and beautiful shoe. Will definitely buy again.

These were my first pair of running shoes. I loved them they fit like a glove, they were light, and comfortable, and the tongue stays in place. I trained for a 10 miler in these. After my Stoltz's a bought Reebok Zigs and they made me realize how much I love my Stoltz's. So I'm trashing my new Zigs and buying another pair of Stoltz's. I recently purchased this shoe from a local retailer. I was immediately impressed when I opened the box. It was a combination of great colors that complement each other. When I tried it on, it fit so nicely. It was tight to get it on, but once I did, I knew this was the one. I had tried on several other styles and this one was definately the most comfortable and stylish. Great product!

Sorel Tofino Boot - Women's Reviews
Sizing: Normally I'm a size 9.5 in a sneaker. Even though most felt this boot fits true to size, my personal experience was to go up half a size due to the fact that I have a medium width foot, as well as to accommodate socks, & I'm glad I did. In my case, I can see that if I would've went with my true size, they most certainly would've been a little too narrow in the sides for me. Not foot-crushing, but not exactly comfortable either. Chose your size based on how you like your sneakers to fit. If you're going to be wearing dress socks, go with your normal size or half a size up if you prefer a little room. If using thicker socks, you might be better off going up a full size. This all depends upon your foot anatomy & comfort preference.
Fit: They fit perfectly, just like a sneaker. Especially like how they still allow me to be nimble in the snow without sacrificing normal maneuvering. I have just enough room in the toe box as well as the sides to move comfortably without any pinching or rubbing but also allow myself some extra wiggle room if needed. Even after wearing them around for a full day, they were still comfortable with enough support for my medium arches. Were a little stiff when I first tried them on due to the leather & canvas needing to be broken in but fit was still correct. Had no problem slipping in or out of these boots even with my muscular calves, but did find that I had to wear skinny jeans or leggings with them because my normal flair legged jeans bulged awkwardly & just looked ridiculous regardless how I tried to tuck them into the boot. If you're skinny, you probably won't have this problem.
Lining & Waterproofing: They are lined from the top of the shaft all the way down to the toe bed with soft sherpa & Thinsulate & are rated for temperatures between 10 40 degrees (temp info courtesy of another online retailer) so if you need boots for more extreme conditions, these are not for you (Sorel Joan of Arctic or Snowlion are for those who need a more hardcore winter boot. I also own the Snowlions but they are a bit much for a couple inches of snow). I wear my Tofinos with lightweight merino wool socks that keep my feet warm without added bulk & my toes stayed nice & comfy. Tried wearing them without socks for a quick jaunt with my dog while the temperature was around mid 20's & was still pleasantly comfortable. The entire boot, foot to shaft, is waterproof. The tongue is stitched into the shaft halfway up (about 8 inches up), acting like a gaiter, to prevent any snow/water from entering.
Traction: I'm a very physical person who mostly walks or bikes everyday so I'm inured to trekking through various terrain/weather conditions. Didn't have any problems going up snowy inclines or through snow drifts with them. Found them to have excellent traction in slushy, snowy conditions & didn't have any issues navigating over ice.
Durability: Only had these since December but haven't noticed any cracks, split seams, etc in them yet. I only use these boots for what they were created for, walking in snow/slush/cold weather, so I can't attest to their durability else wise (sorry). They're too warm to wear for temps over 40 degrees so these are definitely winter only boots.
Style: I have a color not listed here (Bracken/Estate Blue) that I purchased from another retailer. They're much prettier in person than online. As with all of the colors listed, these are definitely eye catching & sure to get numerous compliments. The styling & brass accents give these boots a really classy look that goes well with almost any outfit.
My only concern is the leather laces. They don't seem to be very resistant and I think Sorel knows that because they come with an extra pair of regular green laces that seem to be stronger.
The fit is a little bit smaller than other Sorel boots. I am size 6 and I have an old pair of ankle winter boots from Sorel that are 6.5, which was a little bit loose but great to wear with thick socks. These I bought 6.5 and they fit just perfect, so I recommend you to buy at least 1 size bigger than yours if you are not sure...

Didn't have any problems going up snowy inclines or through snow drifts with them. Found them to have excellent traction in slushy, snowy conditions & didn't have any issues navigating over ice.
Durability: Only had these since December but haven't noticed any cracks, split seams, etc in them yet. I only use these boots for what they were created for, walking in snow/slush/cold weather, so I can't attest to their durability else wise (sorry). They're too warm to wear for temps over 40 degrees so these are definitely winter only boots.
Style: I have a color not listed here (Bracken/Estate Blue) that I purchased from another retailer. They're much prettier in person than online. As with all of the colors listed, these are definitely eye catching & sure to get numerous compliments. The styling & brass accents give these boots a really classy look that goes well with almost any outfit.

I was so excited to get these boots but was very disappointed when I got them. Although they are super cute they are not made for the kind of snow and cold weather that I need them for. They are only mildly insulated with microfiber lining or something and not padded in the foot at all. I disagree with the sizing too. In a real snow boot I wear size 7 so I ordered a size 7.5 in these and they were still too small even though the sizing chart told me to order a 7. It was a lot of trouble for nothing. I ended up ordering the sorel carabou boot and that's a real snow boot although it doesn't make a fashion statement they are very warm and fit well with good tread. These boots are really good-looking ones, compared to most of winter boots that can handle real cold. They have just arrived and they seem to be really resistant and confy. They are water proof until the leg, which is really good for the crazy snowstorms we have in Montreal. I really loved them and now I am waiting for the snow to come. I guess I will post a new review after the first winter.My only concern is the leather laces. They don't seem to be very resistant and I think Sorel knows that because they come with an extra pair of regular green laces that seem to be stronger.
The fit is a little bit smaller than other Sorel boots. I am size 6 and I have an old pair of ankle winter boots from Sorel that are 6.5, which was a little bit loose but great to wear with thick socks. These I bought 6.5 and they fit just perfect, so I recommend you to buy at least 1 size bigger than yours if you are not sure...

Those boots looks awsome, but we ordered a first pair and they became wet inside the first time my wife wore it. We send it back and get another pair. Same problem, water get in easily. So we sent back the second pair too. We end up loosing 65$ with the exchange rate and shipping back two pairs. These shoes are really very attractive. A nice almost aqua and white which is one of my favorite color combinations. I have the same shoe with a pink/orange design. It's a cheap shoe so I won't complain too much.....but the sole is shaped oddly. There's ridges in areas that don't really offer support. It's not UNCOMFORTABLE, but it doesn't add anything and sometimes just feels odd.
