I bought these specifically for trail running and they're good but not the best VFF option out there. I really like the sole, but I'm not a fan of the upper. I think they should ditch the laces and make a version of these that just have the straps. I've tried a few other VFF models for trail running and these are good but not the best. Here's a head to head comparison of both the soles and uppers of Spyridons vs. other models.

Soles:

The Spyridon sole has a very rough tred that makes it ideal for running in mud and loose dirt, provides a lot of traction.

Spyridon LS vs Komodosport: The Komodosport have a lightweight sole but offer very little traction in mud. I bought the Spyridon specifically for its treds and it really delivers in that department. They get excellent traction on a variety of surfaces. The spyridon also has much better rock protection. Winner: Spyridon.

Spyridon LS vs Treksport: These are really similar in terms of the amount of traction they afford, but the Spyridon sole is a lot more flexible than the Treksport. The Spyridon seems to do a slightly better job of rock protection, but again it's still pretty close. Winner: Spyridon.

Uppers:

The Spyridon upper only comes in the "LS" variety, meaning that it has laces instead of straps. I really wish there was a strappy option. The laces are short enough that you don't get much room to adjust them, and just below the laces there's a leather band that prevents the shoe from stretching properly if you have a wide forefoot.

Another drawback to the laces is that there's nothing stabilizing your heel. If you make the compromise I do of buying shoes that are the right width but a little bit too long, expect your feet to slide back and forth a little bit. Hello blisters.

The material composing the upper is also very thick and stays wet longer than I would care for.

Spyridon LS vs Komodosport: The Komodosport are still without a doubt the best upper on any pair of VFFs I've tried. They fit snugly and the dual straps are a killer. A shoe with the Spyridon sole and the Komodosport upper would be the ultimate trail running shoe. Winner: Komodosport.

Spyridon LS vs Komodosport LS: They're pretty similar from what i remember. I took my Komodosport LS back after one run, and traded them in for the regular Komodosport, because the upper sucked so bad. I share that same sentiment for the Spyridon LS. It's a tie.

Spyridon LS vs Treksport: The Treksport upper is light and breathable, dries quickly, but it lacks the dual straps of the Komodosport. Still miles better than the Spyridon.

So I'm going to say again, the Spyridon sole with a Komodosport upper would be the perfect trail running shoe. Get on that, Vibram.

Until then I'm sticking with the Komodosport except for rare circumstances where the Spyridon sole is necessary.

This my second attempt in buying this shoe.

The first time I bought the Treksport, from seller Brick Oven. It was clearly used (shame on them) and one size too small, so I returned it.

This time I settled on this Spyridon. Got it from seller Alldaysporting. I chose the right size this time (by the way, you may want to buy a bit bigger than what vibram's website suggests) and the shoe came brand new. All I can say is I'm in love! I knew I would be. Being an island boy I grew up running bare-foot all over the damn place.

But then school and work and next thing you know, I'm only barefoot at home. I run for exercise and well for running sake. I'm not a marathoner but still, I like running and hiking.

So far, it's very comfortable. and I love the feel when I run. It does take getting used to. I kept feeling like I was stepping in lower ground, if that makes sense. It's just a weird feeling, because your mind knows you're wearing shoes and automatically adjusts your walking to compensate for an elevated heel. But the heel isn't there in this case.

That being said, it didn't take long to get used to it. And those that complain about it being difficult to put on, I don't know what to say, everyone's foot is different, but I've found my own technique that's very simple and I get it on in no time. So no complaints there.

A word on sizing. According to vibram's website, based on my measurements, I'm supposed to need a 43, however the last time I heeded the warnings and bought one size bigger. That turned out to be just a touch too tight for my liking, so I ended up getting a size 45. Which happens to be my slipper size (flip flops for you yanks). So yeah two sizes bigger than what they recommend worked for me. like I said, every foot is different so just be warned...

I had been using the Vibram Five Finger Bikala LS's for over a year and a half, and while I liked them, they really were uncomfortable to run on the road for a long time, or if I landed on a rock. I decided to try these and am glad that I did. The extra tread on the bottom may not seem like much, but it really does help dampen the landings, making running a little more enjoyable. At first, these were really tight and difficult to put on, but they have now worn in and are about as easy as the Bikalas. In the month I have had them, I have put close to 55 miles on them with no problems. Don't get me wrong, hitting a bigger rock the wrong way will definitely be noticeable, but not near as bad as I was experiencing. The sizing on these is about the same as the Bikalas as well. If you are on the fence, I would say go for it. I am happy that I did.

the first thing i must say is that as a fan of my VFF KSO's...I was surprised to find the VFF Spyridon LS Hiker/Runner to be more flexible and lightweight than first anticipated. being a barefoot runner/hiker and dog walker, I managed to stockpile an amazing 8 pairs of so called "barefoot" toe-shoes. Since buying these, my collection is now down to only 3 pairs!! The other 5 pairs were gently given a nice home at Goodwill. which if you live in Oregon, could be a real find!!

I won't go into details about the other brand of "barefoot" shoes i gave away, however my beloved KSO's were tossed in with the lot. :( the infamous VFF "Footstank" had finally overcome all my efforts to keep them order-free (believe me I tried everything!!) and, despite gobs of shoe-goo sole patches; had sadly lost the "Traction-Action" battle. As in even accidentally spilt doggie and kitty kibble was becoming a real pain in my feet!! Fare-thee well VFF KSO's :(

The morning I traded over to my brand new VFF Spyridon LS's...I was sold!! And no it wasn't the amazing sales-person's product pitch, as amazing as it was.

My dog Denim and I went for a very nice brisk mile long jog/walk (down, around and through) our local waterfront Esplanade...Which i think is Spanish for "A very long, flat stretch of boring pavement, minimal gravel, spartan watering holes and angrily distressed, human-mocking birds!!" My VFF Spyridon LS's stood fast against all that modern flat urban sidewalks (and some well groomed grasslands) could throw at me. I even (GASP) wandered off the pavement into some (Coughs) rougher terrain. The VFF's held up quite well under the torture of feral pinecones, small dead fallen branches, a smattering of barkdust and loose gravel!!

The only real problem is that the toe-pockets were a bit tight. The mesh-window on the bottom the soles were scratched by who-know-what and bits of tiny grass spears were poking in and around the "Fast-laces". All in all I gave a four out of five for these five-finger marvels of modern barefoot tech. Denim gave them five stars...but he's a 16month old beagle and is easily amused :-)

I don't know why I only see these listed in European sizes, but whatever the case I got to try these on at a local merchant and I was hooked from the start.

The shoes are truly glove-like in that you forget you are wearing them. I thought these would feel weird but I was wrong. It takes some trial and error to guide your toes into position, but after that you are set to go. I wear mine with the black and white Injinji toesocks and the fit and feel couldn't be better.

I wore these around the gym during the break-in session, getting my leg muscles accostomed to the new strains. Afterwords I took them on my first outside run, and I was wowed. You don't have to re-invent the way you run, however, you do become aware very quickly of how much force your toes add to the running equation. I could grip down onto the running surface and push forward much more easily than with my standard running shoes.

The real worry for me was the impact of the surface against the soles of my feet. I would see rocks and branches and avoid them so as to not injure myself.....until I stepped on a rock that I didn't see. I felt it, I could tell it was there, but the heavy rubber soles and kevlar insert protected my feet and noting was hurt by the encounter. You feel everything you are running over, but none of it is able to harm your soles and that just increased my love for these shoes.

My next test was on an unpaved gravel road. Again, not a single slip or injury. I worry about rolling my ankle on those types of roads, but with these shoes you feel what is below you and your foot muscles react as they are naturally designed to. The rubber soles grip down on everything and make your footing sure and solid.

The best part for me overall, the weight. For everything built in these shoes are literally featherweight. It's the form fitting comfort and weight that really make them unnoticable on your feet. I love them, and I highly reccomend them to anyone interested in getting into five finger shoes.

I was a little late updating my running shoe. I had the Omni 7 and they were too worn. I had ramped up my exercise too much too soon lately and developed what feels like plantar fasciitis on my left foot. As soon as I put these on the discomfort was noticeably less. I am still treating the foot gingerly for now, but I even ran a bit on it to see where I was at with the pain. Felt great, but I don't want to push it. For now, I am mostly exercising with eliptical trainer, but I hope to be running 3-5 miles again soon. Zero pain and shoe feels great.

I was originally turned on to the shoe at a shoe store where they analyzed my shoe wear pattern and watched me run on a treadmill. I am an over-pronator who has had a lot of difficulty running in the past. Years ago, I developed a stress fracture with regular shoes and had to lay off running for a long time. (My family has terrible foot problems.) The Omnis helped me get back to running. They are much lighter than the Omni 7 and feel great. Definitely recommend. Just don't wait to long to get new shoes!

Edit: Foot rehabbed in month on boring eliptical trainer and back to normal. I've been running 5 miles at a time with no problems for the past month. Great shoe.

This is my first running shoe so take my review with a grain of salt.

I started running about 2 months ago and I always wore a pretty old, simple sports shoe. I started feeling mild pain in my knees and ankles after my workouts but I thought it was just a natural side-effect of running and that it was going to go away later. After reading how important a real running shoe is, I bought a pair of Omni 11's yesterday. I wore them for the first time today and I felt no pain at all while running. They are extremely comfortable and give my weak overpronating feet amazing support. I don't know if this is only because I have never worn a proper running shoe or because this is truly an excellent product but I suspect the latter. Definitely recommend it.

My only gripe is that I have the White/Blue/Citron model and that combination of colors looks a bit silly. Buy the red ones if you can.

These shoes are by far the best shoes I have tried for overpronation. I run about 3 miles per day and these have decreased the pain in my knees and the shin splints are gone all together.

Honest reviews on Saucony Men's Progrid Omni 11 Running Shoe

Last year when I decided to try running for the first time in my life, I was fitted for a pair of these from a local running store. I went from suffering horrific shin splints to being able to run 4-5 miles on the treadmill pain free. I used them in my daily boot camp classes for a year until it was obviously time to replace (lost the cushioning and grip). I decided to buy a new pair on Amazon since it was substantially cheaper than my local shop, and am not remotely disappointed. The only tip I'd offer is that if you have wider than average feet (like I do), you may want to get a wide pair. My running store sold me a standard width fit, which is what I re-ordered here, but they are kind of snug on me.

The Omni 11s are a great shoe. The only thing of note if you're used to the Omni 10s or 9s, is they seem lighter. Not quite the minimalist shoe experience, but definitely not the heft of the older models.

Funny how sizes go. I have older Asics lshoes size 10D and they tend to be a bit too large, at least they are most comfortable with heavier socks. These new Asics in size 10D are considerably narrower than other Asics I have had. I need to use very light socks and then they seem to fit well. If you are borderline between sizes, go for the next larger size with these Asics.

I have been buying nothing but Asics for years because they are in my opinion the most comfortable running shoes made. I gave up on Nike and Reebok years ago because they ran so small I had to order 2 sizes larger than my foot was. Well, Asics is starting to do the same thing. I wear a size 11 or 11 1/2 shoe and always order 12 in running shoes. I received these in a 12 and couldn't get my foot in it. I had to loosen the laces so much to get them on there wasn't enough left to tie. The length is fine but way to narrow. I'm not giving up on them yet as I have several other pairs, but they seem to be getting tighter and tighter.

I've bought size 12 ASICS for over a decade. This was my first shoe purchase online and for some reason they do not fit like any other size 12 I have bought in a store. Not sure the difference, but very tight fit. I have a few other size 12 pairs (the same width as well) and they still feel fine. I guess I'm just unlucky with this pair and I will not abandon the brand, but not completely happy.

I bough these shoes as a summer time fashion sneaker to casually walk around in with good cushioning and arch support.... and let me tell you, they do not dissappoint. This might be the most comfortable sneaker I have ever worn, and it's surprisingly well made, considering my last pair of shoes from Asics fell apart in about two weeks. I haven't gone on a long distance run in these yet, nor do I intend to...but when I sprint, they feel even more comfortable than my Brooks, and these are $40 cheaper. Also, because of their clean, simple look and basic colors of white, black, and silver... they go with just about any outfit! Overall, this is a fantastic purchase, and maybe the best product I have ever bought off of Amazon....

Based on the description, I thought that these would be similar to my Trail Gloves with more cushion for high impact training. That was not the case. These had a very rigid internal structure around the arch and heel that made them feel much more like traditional running shoes than the minimalist shoe they were advertised as.

I was looking for a new shoe to use while training CrossFit. I currently use the Merrell Hammer Glove in an 8.5 and it fits and performs well. When I received the Merrell Barefoot Train Circuit Access, the shoe felt too large. It was very comfortable and the extra cushioning does not take away from the "barefoot" feel. I have since ordered a size 8.0 and hopefully it will fit and feel better. The Castle Rock color option is very clean and classic. It is not the flashiest shoe but hopefully my performance will do the talking!

This shoe isnt for people with wide feet like me. Its narrow and doesnt come in wide sizes. I bought it, wore it and then realized that, and couldnt return it. its ok, to just wear to work as long as I am not gonna exercise or some such.

That said, its a beautiful looking pair of shoes (i bought the amaranth/turmeric). The reason this is given a 3 star rating is that, the top part of the inside of shoe is actually without much padding, and with thin socks, it actually hurts the toes. Wearing thicker socks would help.

On the whole, its too expensive for what it offers. I bought it at full price. Buy it on sale maybe.

However, I did get the worste blisters I have ever had in my soccer career with these cleats so word of caution, wear these babies tight!

Honest reviews on Nike Flex 2012 RN Womens Running Shoes 512108-011

Don't let the photo turn you away. These are replacing a pair of Nike cross-trainers that I had I all over Europe, crazy Caribbean and Central American explorations and before getting home to LA Florida and another trip to Europe.

I love shoes, but with a perfect fitting Nike's, sometimes those lovely heels, boots or flats are just not right. I keep an old pair of Nike's designed like these in my car with some outdoor gear just in case some fun pops up.

These are definitely more advanced in every way: fibers, sole design, physical comfort and temperature it's as though they breathe and almost as good as bare feet. The color coordinates with all my gear, I really like dark gray with various pastels. The last were black with white "swoops" and b & w layers in the sole. So I've updated everything and these fit right in plus they look good with jeans though I usually wear other boots or shoes with jeans. These came very fast as in perfect, new condition.

Review of ZEMgear 360 Ninja Split Toe - Running Series

ZEMgear 360 Ninja Split Toe - Running Series
Customer Ratings: 4 stars
Buy Now
I'm writing a review here because there doesn't seem to be a place to do that directly on Zem's site...and maybe my comments will get a little more notice here vice their broken contact/customer support system...more on that later.

First, I purchased these shoes coming from experience with Vibram FF's (Sprint, KSO, and Bikila), but no other minimalist style shoes. I love the fit and feel of the KSO and Bikila (Sprint not-so-much), but when I saw the 360's I decided I had to see how they compare, esp being cheaper and with the unique split-toe design.

Initial thoughts They look nice (IMHO), fit well (normally wear 11.5 so ordered up to 12 for the first pair), the bands seem to snug the shoes to my feet (with socks), material and sole are very flexible, great "road-feel", slightly warmer than the VFF's, easier to take on and off (esp with tabi (split-toe socks)), and all around an impressive shoe. My feet are "average" and roughly identical in length...no issues with rubbing/pinching on the 12's (even with moderate heel spurs).

How do I use them? I run moderately (mostly paved trails/sidewalk/some light offroad) but also use them as an everyday shoe...errands, physical training, driving, you name it. They're just a comfortable easy to use shoe with great feel. Be warned though...you will feel rocks and other objects through them if you don't watch your step. I still love my VFF, but if I'm in a hurry and don't want to mess with five toe socks or velcro, these are what I grab. (And they're money at the airport.)

But...as much as I enjoy these there are a few glaring cons that make me hesitate to recommend the Ninja 360.

First, after using the 12's for about 2 months the left big toe tread began delaminating/separating from the sole. This is a huge hit. I had run and used them lightly during this time...maybe 40 miles running at most on asphalt/concrete/paved and sandy areas, and walking around. I was deployed and was outside the Amazon return period, so opted to try gluing the tread back down. This was a very temporary fix, and I've had to try different glues and re-apply several times since then. Considering the limited use of the shoe when this issue developed, this is an unacceptable flaw. Currently my repair is holding, but I shouldn't have to start repairing my tread after only 2 months of light use. Could I get them replaced under warranty? I don't know. I thought I tried that, but so far no luck. (slight sarcasm, see below)

Also, I had been wearing either "flip-flop" socks or Injinjis with the 360's, which helped the 12 fit more snugly. However, after ordering some AFX no-show socks, which are very thin, I noticed the shoes slipping on my feet while sprinting. It could be partially my form, but I decided to see if an 11 would fit better with thin or no socks. I wanted a glove-like fit. So I ordered some 11's (direct from ZEM this time).

First pair of 11's, the right shoe fit perfectly. It was like a glove; exactly what I wanted. The left shoe, however, was sewn shorter in the big toe. The best I can describe is the material was overlapped too far and pinched more material into the toe of the shoe. So while the overall fit of the left was great, the big toe was too short and there was extra bunched material inside rubbing on the end of my toe. No good.

And to top it off...right out of the box the left big toe tread was delaminated for about 1/4 inch from the tip. (That's 2 for 2 with tread issues. A red flag for me!)

As this pair was purchased directly from Zem I e-mailed them about returning/exchanging. I got a strange e-mail that looked like my message e-mailed back to me, but no confirmation or acknowledgement. I tried again. Same thing. I waited...Sent another message. Nothing. Finally I received a reply, but it was obvious the individual didn't fully read or understand the issues. (I guess my bad for listing the problems with both the 11's and 12's together) But after that human contact I heard nothing. I sent a couple more e-mails. This stretched on over a couple months. Mind you I had other things going on and didn't have the time to keep e-mailing over and over. But it was like my e-mails were being eaten.

Eventually I did try again and the same individual told me a replacement pair had been sent several weeks earlier. (Of course no one had told me this) When they finally arrived I tried them on. This time the tread looked firmly attached on both shoes, but the left big toe exhibited the same pinched/shortened toe pocket. Everything else was pretty much perfect, but the slightly shorter toe and extra material inside the end made for an uncomfortable fit, and I'm sure there would be a nice blister if I tried running in them. I wore them around the my room for an extended period just to make sure, but no go.

I emailed Zem back with the news. The original ticket had been closed and a new individual was helping me, but it was again obvious they weren't quite getting the issues. After several in-depth e-mails with photos and no real resolution I haven't heard back from Zem for about a month. I don't know if I dare try again. (Zem, if you read these...help)

To summarize, I really like the concept of this shoe and overall the 12's have served me well the past 6 months (self-repair frustration aside). And heck, I even want to help make them better by providing feedback to Zem about what works and what doesn't, but there appear to be some serious issues with tread adhesion and a little slop in quality control. And if your issue falls outside the scope of Amazon's return policy or you order direct from Zem, good luck working with customer service. I recommend you try the shoes in person if you have that luxury, both for fit and a good inspection of the tread. Hoping my frustrating experience is an isolated case, but proceed at your own risk. =)

I was going to give 5 stars, but they are WAY TOO UGLY!!! But first let me tell you how great they are. Here are the main perks:

1. Super light, great for traveling

2. Very portable/foldable great for traveling

3. Easy to wash (great considering you dont wear socks with it

4. SUPER COMFORTBLE

5. GREAT for running, you find yourself running for no reason

Ok first, great for traveling, there's no reason to not take them anywhere. I'm a guy, but i bet it's great for girls to keep in their purse when they're out in high heels but want to come back in comfortable shoes. You can roll them up, wash them easily all graet stuff.

Now about the comfort, GOD i have to walk a lot while i'm traveling, but when i have these on i NEVER GET TIRED. Moreover if my feet are tired from aesthetic shoes (aka regular shoes that serve the sole function of looking good at the detriment of everything that has to do with the FUNCTION that feet perform) the zem shoes REJUVINATE your feet after a tiring day.

RUNNING= WOW you feel like a sports car with these on. You constantly want to rev the engine. You feel SO AGILE in these shoes, you can blitz past a crowd (like a kid). You feel like you're on a motorcycle.I got the split shoes because I heard they dont let your feet slip around like the round toes do (i've never tried those so i dont know, but the split toes do NOT slip)

Draw backs:

1. When it's wet, the cloth upper soaks in water (but really who cares, not like youre wearing socks)

2. If your pants are loose they are going to drag on the floor as they would when youre barefoot (solution: buy pants that fit, you slob)

3. THE MAIN DRAWBACK= THEY ARE UGLY UGLY UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!! (only for the split shoe). You and your crab feet WILL get stared at wherever you go

Here's why the are ugly-it's not the split toe itself but because (to save cost) they simply use the same sole for the round and split toe, and simply slice the split toe. What this does is leave an extra corner of fabric and rubber in the corners of the split which gives a crab claw look to your feet. If the sole was rounded off around the split it would look a LOT better, but i understand they like to save cost and use a single mould for the sole.

Super comfy, easy to slip on and off, and after three weeks my feet feel great for the first time in years. I have wide feet and these feel way better than other "minimal" shoes like the Saucony Hattori. These will change how you walk and run though, you cannot land on your heel in them.

I've had heel problems for some time, so I tried the 5 Fingers, which were nice, but a real hassle to get all 5 toes in. The ZEMgear just fit. It's still winter so I've been wearing them with toe socks (they also work with regular socks just fine). They have not gotten stinky with socks on.

The first time I wore them for a one mile walk downtown my feet were aching! After a half mile of running my calves were unbelievably sore and stayed that way for about two weeks. But after lots of short runs (1 mile max) and consistent walking in them, I just ran 4 miles today for the first time in 2 years. My feet feel great, they feel stronger, my calves are stronger, and I'm probably walking right for the first time since I was a kid.

Update:

These will last for about 3-4 months of casual running. They are not durable, but I still love them.

Honest reviews on ZEMgear 360 Ninja Split Toe - Running Series

After a few hours of use the seams around the split toe on both shoes began unravelling. I think that these shoes are not made well enough for their intended purpose.

I wear these for indoor tai chi (taijiquan) practice, and so far they've been great. The split toe style allows the foot to expand naturally, and the lack of extraneous padding helps with balance and flexibility. They are also durable enough that I can walk to practice in these if the weather is dry. Traction is very good without being sticky. These are also much more affordable than most other minimalist alternatives popular in my class such as the Vibram FiveFingers. The 360's are an improvement over the classic style Ninjas with less noticeable inside seams, a more molded shape, and much more attractive styling.

I wear these with tabi socks, and I consider being able to wear socks an advantage. However, even with socks my ZEMs are a tiny bit big for me, and I hope ZEMgear will make plans to create smaller sizes.

Finally, the taping around the opening can get frayed at the ends still room for improvement there.

EDIT: My new favorites are now the ZEMgear Terra, which have a more robust sole suitable for both indoor and outdoor practice. I could not practice on rough asphalt pavements in the 360's because the traction pads would start to peel off they really are better for relatively smooth surfaces. In the Terras, however, I can practice movements which require turning on a weighted leg without fear of damaging the soles (other than normal wear and tear, that is). The Terras soles also wrap up around the sides a little, just enough to protect the toes and keep the sides from abrading. I still enjoy the 360's, but I now use them for indoor-only practice.

I bought these for my husband for his birthday. He has an older pair of Nike Frees, and he loves them, but they're getting worn out. Since I'm not the one wearing them, I can only comment on what I know, but he says the size 10 fits perfectly (and he usually wears a 10, if that helps). They shipped within 6 days. I did a little shopping around, and this was the best price for these that I could find, both online and in-store. Very pleased with this purchase!

I started running seriously a little over 20 years ago, and when I came upon Saucony Shadow 6000, I never looked back at any other shoe. I LOVE these and have probably gone through at least a dozen pairs! I have run several triathlons in them, a couple half-marathons, tons of 10K's, and have hiked in them as well! When they get too old to use anymore for running, I use them when I work out in the yard. Bottom line: a very stable platform with good heel cushioning, comfortable upper, and just a fantastic shoe! I happen to really like the way they look, but they are so white when they come out of the box, I like them best after they get a little wear on them and don't stand out so much. After a while they take on a more grey or off-white look. I hope they NEVER quit making this shoe. They threatened to a few years ago, but the customers cried out and they changed their minds.

I'm amazed that Saucony has produced this shoe for so many years. I think they are one of the best running shoes for the money.

There are no bells and whistles on these shoes and they are not much to look at , but they are prehaps the most comfortable around in this price range..Good for walking , running, or as a training shoe, they are one of the most durable as well. But it is the comfort factor that makes the grade, and for that alone they are worth the cost...even more.Check out road runner sports and see what you would pay(+$$;)this is a good deal.

Have been using this shoe for years. This is the most comfortable running shoe I have ever had. Only had one source for this shoe locally, 60 minutes roundtrip by car, so I was really happy to see that it was available on-line.

I've run in these for so long, I can't remember how many pairs I've bought: 15? maybe 20? When they get worn, they become my bumming-around shoes. I've not bought another brand or model since the Shadow 6000 came out about 15 or more years ago.
