First off, one can definitely feel the difference between the interchangeable soles; yet, when sliding your foot into the blue sole-laced Air Jordan 2011, you will automatically feel that it is the firmer and more responsive of the two. It actually plays lower to the ground which is definitely an advantage for those who thrive on the perimeter. One cannot be successful playing basketball standing straight up (defensively and offensively), therefore, the low-riding blue sole undoubtedly aids one's ‘horizontal' game. On the perimeter, a player uses a lot of lateral motion whether it is working off of a pick-and-roll or sliding your feet defensively, and the blue sole seems to possess a more ‘active' feel to it. In other words, your foot feels more free, and you are able and more confident to cover ground quicker when using the blue sole. You can credit the heel and forefoot Zoom Air units for this advantage. As with previous Zoom Air laced sneakers, the Air Jordan 2011 feels very flexible and owns a lower profile when incorporating the blue sole. It provides a very stable wear and allows the foot no wiggle room when making impact-heavy, sudden moves such as cuts to the basket, hesitations and unexpected jolts.

These are great! Love the light weight. Better than this years model. the price was awesome too. Brooks run small so I had to get a full size up for the longer runs.
I had to buy a couple pair (these are last years models). best pair of shoes I have ever owned.I didn't even want to try the new version they came out with, these shoes are amazing and fit my foot like a glove. This is my second pair and I'm not sure what I'm going to do when I wear through them!

I put my shoes on & walked 3+ miles without my legs, heels, feet, ankles, etc hurting & continue to do so every single day ~ WOOHOO!! I pronate inward & pound on my heels when walking/run. These are well worth the $$$. Would love it IF the shoelaces were a little longer... Thank You ;) I have HAPPY feet/legs/body!!!

I have several feet issues. These shoes are very comfortble and add the stability I need. I have no arch and have an issue with drop foot.Best Deals on New Balance Women's W1340 Optimal Control Running Shoe
I ordered my normal size in this style shoe which is also a wide width. It felt tight across the foot. I had not checked the shoe last(pattern that the shoe is based on). I followed New Balance's recommendation, and ordered a extra wide but in the same size. The logic being you can always add thicker socks or inserts to make up for a shoe feeling a bit big, but you can't do anything with a tight shoe. I am really happy with this style of running shoe. New Balance comes in wide and extra wide widths, plus they tell you what shoe last they used. The shoe last determines if the toe box is average depth or deep, how high the instep is and the width of the heel. I have bought New Balance shoes because of this extra feature. This style 1340 is very cushioned. and also is a great stabilizer for those with flat feet. This is supposed to be the upgrade to the 1012.Honest reviews on New Balance Women's W1340 Optimal Control Running Shoe
This shoes is wonderful! I have painful plantar faciitis and need a shoe with stability control and excellent support this is it! I don't even need to put my inserts in this shoe. It fits well and has ample padding in the footbed as well as around the ankle. I even like the style, which is a nice bonus. I would definitely recommend this shoe to those with heel and/or arch pain.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for New Balance Women's W1340 Optimal Control Running Shoe
This is my third try on a motion control shoe, and I am very pleased with this one. I had to get a half size larger than I normally wear in New Balance due to the extra padding. This shoe is replacing the 1011 which I had great success with but needed to replace; I was beginning to have knee and ankle problems and knew it was time to replace the shoe. This shoe keeps the ankles supported with lateral movement and the overall cushioning, arch support, and stability are excellent. I also have orthotic insoles in them which makes them even more comfortable. I would recommend the 1340 to anyone needing support in an athletic shoe.Buy Salomon Women's XA Pro 3D Mid GTX Ultra Trail Running Shoe

I really hate to slam this shoe because it's totally beautiful and is the style I wanted and I really wanted them to fit... but they were far too narrow for me and I had to return them. I have some other Salomon's in 8.5M and they are a much wider fit and feel perfect. So maybe it depends on the style. I actually kept a size 8M in another Salomon style so I guess they do vary.
The length itself on this one was fine. I normally prefer a size 8.5 but need them to be wider... at least around the toe. This is just a narrow shoe all around and they were quite stiff. Even if you have a narrow foot I think they'd need some breaking in time.
Again, if you have a narrow foot, you will be happy with this shoe... they are exactly as pictured. If you need a wider fit this shoe probably isn't for you. Cost me about $11 to return them.
FYI: If this lacing style is new for you... don't be afraid! They are very stable and stronger than they appear... and they bring ease to pulling on/off the shoe. I can't go back to regular lacings after Salomon's!This my second pair of this particular shoe, I wear them for my job as a flight nurse and running! LOVE their comfort and versatility! The comfort of a shoe with the toughness of a boot!

I'll keep them only for walking, just because they look top notch. The EUR sizes are correct but the US sizes are half size small (maybe even 1 size small), I'd suggest take a half size bigger than your (max) US size.
As it comes to actually RUNNING, these are hell stiff and not flexible AT ALL (unlike Mizuno's which are stiff but still flexible). I felt no cushion (too close to the ground). No energy return, not a bouncy shoe at all.
I can't comment on durability but they do seem pretty solid and very high quality (very). I'd not really categorize this shoe for running, I'll use them in rainy days (waterproof).
The price is exaggerated given I don't think you can compare the comfort of these to a typical premium neutral shoe by NB\Saucony\Brooks etc'.
Update: I figured out the what makes them feel like a brick are the supplied insoles, which are thin and stiff. You better remove them totally and add one of your own, I personally love Gravity Defyer's insoles and use them in all my shoes.

They came a day early and fit perfect. The color was correct and packing was good. I would recommend this product to all my friends and family.
I was excited to see the new red color. I was hoping for a nice deep red, but instead these are really bright red, boardering on hot pinkish almost.

I like the design, color, fit of the shoes. Unfortunately after one week of wear the soles separated and fell apart. The upper is well made but the rapid separation of the orange outsole and disintegration of the white midsole was very unexpected and unacceptable. After many years of loyal Puma patronage I am very disappointed.Looks and fits exactly as described. Very good looking and comfortable shoes. I will definitely be watching for more styles of these shoes.

I ordered these as a Christmas gift for my mother-in-law. I have a similar pair and I LOVE them! They are so comfortable. I really love the sleek design and low profile. They are less bulky than typical athletic shoes. They can be worn casual with blue jeans or shorts but still be worn working out. I use them for Zumba and they are great!
The only Puma shoes that were too big for me when I ordered half a size up is the Puma Etoile shoes. The narrowness of the shoe seems to depend on the shoe line (Repli Cat, Etoile, etc.).
We need a diferent size and We have a good experience.

Review of The North Face Havoc Mid GTX XCR Hiking Shoe - Men's

I have been using these light pair of mids in GTX in the rainy and typhoon season in Japan and this has provided me some good experiences/feedback.
First of The North Face can get ribbed a bit online for becoming too big or forgetting their roots but if they do anything right I think it is their shoe line. They show new approaches to functional footwear can be combined with quite good looking designs, good fit and attention to detail.
The fit is great, I would say these are a normal/average width. Although I have narrow feet and these are a bit on the wide side for me, these are very comfortable and I only ever get minor blisters when I have to trek 6+ hours with soaking wet feet (yeah, see below for that).
Cushion is there but not overly squishy, just right, and the grip of the outer sole works really well for me. Previously I had trekked a lot with trail runners without a rock plate and this would leave my feet bruised after longer day treks (40~50Km). The TPU plate in the forefoot really helps with this, my feet feel well protected.
The upper of the shoe has a very simple design. There are not a lot of lines and stitches usually points of failure or blisters which I think looks good and performs well.
On Goretex trekking twice a week during the rainy season in Japan my experience has been that when there is sustained rain my socks will start to feel wet after two hours. Then they will be soaked and sogging in 2,5 hours. I've had this happen quite consistently while hiking in continuous rain. The rain I'm talking about varies from normal sustained to intense sustained rain, sometimes was a bit less, sometimes a bit more. But my shoes never stayed dry for more than 2~2,5 hours.
I think there might still be cases where GTX mids could be good. In mild snow trails where you are not constantly subjected to lots of snow or water the GTX Mids were warmer and stayed dry enough (but I have limited snow experience).
I wish they would make these in a non GTX version, one that might dry out or drain quicker while walking. This would make for a better option in all but full winter season for me.
Other than that a very solid but light-weight mid shoe that inspires confidence. Good buy.I have worn North Face Mid boots for a number of years. This version replaced a three year old pair that were well worn. Out of the box they fit perfect and required no break in for me. Strong support with comfort Excellent Product

Let me first start off by saying that my little bundle of joy has XW little feeties and getting shoes has been in a pain in the patoot. I was buying shoes from Stride Rite, because they are really the only ones that carry Baby Girls XW, or so I thought...but yikes, they are expensive! I was dropping almost $80 every two months on shoes! And then, tada...here comes amazon to save the day! These are my second pair of Saucony sneakers for the baby & let me tell you why I love them:
1. they are made incredibly well and hold up like a champ
2. they have both the elastic top & the velcro strap. my 1 year old rips off all shoes with nothing but velcro and throws them (what an arm she has!)
3. they don't fall off-ever
4. she hates hates hates shoes, but doesn't mind these at all
5. they are light
6. they are cute :)
7. they were only $30ish dollars at amazon.com
8. they don't have Dora or Mickey or lights or bling or any other crap on them
9. they really do have great support for growing ankles
10. i'm jealous and want my own pair (without the velcro, of course)

These shoes were a great dealless then $20! My son only wears Saucony gym shoes since they are comfortable and flexible. We purchased the green and silver pair and the red and blue pair for our twin boys. They are true to size and offer them great support. This is the second pair of Saucony's we have purchased for the boys (they grew out of the first pair but they are still in gret condition). They love to wear their shoes, most of the time they refuse to take them off so they get lots of wear. They hold up great. We will continue to buy Saucony's once they grow out of theses.Discount The North Face Hedgehog Guide Low Gore Tex Hiking Shoe - Men's

They are very light, fits like a sneaker and not clunky like your stereotypical hiker. Used for trail hiking, dog walking
in various conditions with excellent grip on all terrain. I typically were a size 9 shoe however with "sneaker" type shoes
I wear a 9 1/2 perhaps its because its more fitting like a sneaker. I would 1/2 size up if you wear normal shoes or just
order your regular sized sneaker size.I have a wide foot and they fit perfect. Could use a bit more tread, but very good for a light hiker. This is my third pair.
