Style, comfort, and support. The picture on Amazon makes this shoe look slightly clunky, but in reality it has a slim profile.

It's very light weight and comfortable. The mesh on the side of the shoes makes it easier for your foot to breath. I just wish the padding on the sole was more softer, but you can always get Dr Scholls for that.

These shoes are very comfortable and yet stylish. I feel like I have a little more pep to my step. Sizing is true. I wear and 81/2 or 9 typically. However, because this is a running shoe I chose 9 and it works perfect for me. Love puma shoes and I always feel safe ordering their sizes online.

I had to buy these shoes a full size up. My road shoes are 9.5 and the zoots I had to buy 10.5. They are higher up on your foot\ankle than most running shoes. I like the extra height for support. Farthest run so far it 13 miles in these shoes. The shoes did well. Very attractive shoe.

This is my 3rd or 4th year of wearing Zoots [ Kalani] for triathlons. I adore them. So easy to get on and off and so comfortable..I have an arthritic 'bump' on top of one foot and me and laces just don't get on...these are like slippers...half the time I don't even bother to tighten my quicklaces...My last pair I took out of the box one night and raced in them the next day...perfect !

I usually wear a 9.5 in my running shoes, and these are too small everywhere. The toe box is so narrow, it feels like my foot is being squeezed into the shoe. I thought they might stretch out a little after some more wear (because they're so stretchy) but I can't do it. They make my entire lower legs hurt from the uncomfortable position my feet are in while wearing.I can't wear them and it was a wast of $100.

Honest reviews on Zoot Women's Ultra Kalani 3.0 Running Shoe

These shoes looks just as good on as they are pictured. I normally wear a size 10 but it wasn't available. So I ended up with the 91/2. They fit a little snug, but nothing I can't deal with. I love them.

I have a pair of ClimaCool runners and like them very much, but when the weather got cold, I could feel the breeze blowing through my toes. I ordered these through Amazon, and they are very nearly as comfortable as the Climacools, and they are nice and warm.

Adidas scores again with these shoes. The weather turned bad so I've used these shoes, and they keep my feet warm and dry! I would tell my friends to buy these shoes.

Honest reviews on adidas Mens Climawarm Blast M Running Shoe

Bought these because my wife had a pair of Adidas ClimaCool's she really liked. Like other reviews have noted, the shoe runs small. For me I, I ordered the next full size up and they fit perfect. They also loosen up after they have been worked in. Being ClimaWarm, I was afraid my feet would get too hot while running, but they breath very well and always feel just right.

They are comfortable, flexible, have great traction and support. The style is also a plus.

I would definitely recommend this shoe, just remember to order the next full-size up.

I normally wear size 10, but this shoe ran a bit tight for me. I ended up returning this for a 1/2 size bigger, which felt very comfortable.

ASICS Women's GEL-Cumulus 14 Running Shoe,Black/White/Hot Berry,8 M US

Let me start by saying that I am a loyal wearer of ASICS Gel Cumulus shoes. I buy a new pair every time the new model is introduced, as each pair lasts me about a year, and this is probably my 9th pair of Gel Cumulus shoes. This 14 model initially felt very tight and uncomfortable across the toe box. After considerable loosening of the laces (they were pre-laced when I received them) and wearing them around the house for a couple days to break them in, they felt great and very cushiony. I've never had to "break in" these Cumulus shoes before, and I'm not sure why I had to this time. Perhaps they are being constructed with less fabric across the toes? Regardless, they are very comfortable now and I'm glad I purchased them. With this pair I chose the bold color route the "storm" color is a very dark gray, and the "brilliant blue" is a bright royal blue, while the laces are white. They are about as far from a generic white pair of shoes as you can get! They look great with black exercise pants or dark jeans. As always, this pair of Cumulus shoes has a snug fit around the heel, so they feel very secure when you're moving. The sizing (in length, at least) feels true to previous models.

This is my fourth pair of Asics Cumulus Running Shoes. I've always LOVED the fit and comfort of this shoe and so when it came time to purchase a new pair I felt totally comfortable purchasing online....no need to try them on because I know I'm going to love them. Mistake! They changed the entire shoe. Lower profile, much tighter fit and gone is the springy comfy bounce that I felt in my previous Cumulus shoes. They might be okay with an added insert but that's really not an option without going up a size (or two considering how small this shoe runs). I will still wear these for short walks but will look for a new favorite to run in :(

Best Deals on ASICS Women's GEL-Cumulus 14 Running Shoe

I have worn Cumulus for years and loved them and they have been kind to me...five marathons and all that training. The new lower heel has caused strain on my lower leg muscles which irritates my heel. They are not as wide as they used to be, so after about six miles, my feet feel cramped. I hate to say it but after all these years, I might have to look for a new shoe. Too bad; I loved my Cumulus! I never had to take them off after a run. I've actually tried to find some Cumulus 11s.I can't find my size!

Honest reviews on ASICS Women's GEL-Cumulus 14 Running Shoe

I love this shoe! The colors are bright and the shoe is very comfortable. I usually wear an 8 1/2, but I order a size up when I purchase running shoes. I purchased these in a 9 and they give me enough room for when I run. This is the first pair of ASICS that I have bought (after much research) and I am very satisfied and happy! As a prior Brooks Adrenaline user (only other running shoes I have ever used), I can say that I have not noticed a difference in the stability and support or the comfort. I can no longer afford to buy Brooks (over $100), so this was a good financial switch as well. After having them for two weeks, I was able to run a 5K without any problems. I am extremely happy with these shoes and I have a feeling that they will become my permanent brand!!

I have worn the cumulus for years and have loved them! I recently purchased the 14's online and threw out all the paperwork and box before actually running in them. What a mistake. They feel terrible! I have never had foot and leg pain when running in any brand shoe before, but I had both with these. It feels like I am running barefoot! I bought another pair from Sports Authority, thinking I just got a pair from a bad batch, and I got them yesterday. I will put them on the treadmill and try them out to see if it is the model or the pair from Amazon. I am very disappointed in the pair I got off of Amazon for sure and am hoping the ones from Sports Authority are better. If not, I will return them and change brands too. :(

After getting denied the first time trying to buy these shoes finally found someone else who had a listing and couldn't be happier. Shoes are very light and the the colors are perfect match for my Seahawks. A little snug when you first put them on but your foot quickly works into the right spot. Very comfortable for any kind of activity from lounging around to running. I couldn't be any happier with the purchase. Might even get a second pair in another color.

I was looking for the Nike Free Run 3+ in this color after seeing someone wearing them. Amazon was the only place that I could find them, so I ordered them and am very happy with my purchase. The shoes showed up in time and were exactly as described. They are very comfortable and great looking shoes.

Nike Free Runs are great product!

The Nike Frees are a great product! They are very comfortable and good looking too. They come in many different colors. The 3 are a lot more comfortable than the other Nike frees. The 3 are a big step up. They are very long lasting and you get great wear out of them. The Nike chip is great if you are big into running. They are great to go anywhere in because they are so light and flexible.

Although they come in all sizes, this is probably not a very good shoe for little kids. Because their feet are still growing, if that is the case then they are a bit pricey. But otherwise it is worth the money.

I went to all these stores trying to find the right shoe. Then I saw the Nike Free Runs, I wanted those. I tried them on and fell in love with them. They are by far the most comfortable shoe I have ever had. I give Nike 5 out of 5 stars on this one.

These shoes run a bit smaller than other Asics such as the GT3000 and the Gel Kayano, so you may need to go up a half size. There is more vertical room in the toe box on the DS 18 than on the DS 17, so for me the 18 is a more comfortable shoe. Also, the 18 has central lacing, a welcome change from the asymmetrical lacing of the 17. As with previous iterations of the DS Trainer, the 18 has gel in the forefoot as well as the heel, and is engineered for mild over-pronators. It is almost as light as a racing flat, yet has adequate support training purposes. Blue/white/orange color scheme is very cool, and far better than the yellow/black made for the U.S. market!

These shoes are easily the most flexible that I've been in. It seems that no matter which way I move, the shoe appear to work with me. Having found this out early I was a bit concerned.

I work in the Travel and Hospitality business and usually have to change shoes once every season (6 months). I walk a mile to work, walk about at least 3 miles while at work (on a slow day, which I haven't had many of lately), and then a mile back home at 5 days (or more) a week. I'm always on my feet walking, running, squating, tip toe'ing, pivoting, you name it my feet are involved. Therein lies the problem.

As I said I'm hard on shoes and I don't think these are gonna cross that "one season" mark. I haven't even reached the two month mark with these and I'm already seeing... I dunno what you'd call it... it's where the rubber sole pulls up to the front of the shoe where the tips of your toes would be. In any case, it's already starting to peel. I usually don't see things like this happen until at least the four month point with shoes (granted, their usually built a bit tougher for the job like Brahmas) and that's after the heels of the shoes signals I'm on the road towards the end. It's not awful yet, but I don't expect these shoes to last me until the first huge snowfall where I live (which would basically mark the beginning of the new season) which means I'll have to prematurely shell out another 40+ on some shoes that can tackle the job and for longer periods of time.

Also in the realm of comfort, I've had this reoccuring issues with these shoes and these shoes only where my right big toe starts hurting like the shoes are too tight for it. I thought it was a matter of just breaking the shoes in but this was an everyday thing, several hours into wearing them, over the course of a month and a half and now every so often on occasion. I have plenty of space to moves toes and such around and the shoes are always fine up until that very moment that pain comes back.

Pain aside (and I might be the only one) if you plan on doing a lot of moving around these might not be the shoes for you. If you bartend or you're in the kitchen where you're on your feet but don't necessarily have far to travel, you're just confined to basically one area, these are fine for that. But with the walking I do, these aren't ideal for the time period I was hoping to use them for.

very comfortable, breathable shoe. Would give it a 5 but the soles wear out rather quickly. I do walk 8 miles a day for work though so I guess these would last longer for the average walker.

Running background I run between 15-25 miles week and have run several half-marathons (both stand alone events and in half ironmans).

Prior to running in Brooks, I ran in Nike Pegasus. I don't have anything against the Nike shoes, but began to wonder if the height of the heel padding was contributing to my ITB pain when I started increasing my distance. Several of my running friends encouraged me to try the Brooks based on my running style (more of a forefoot striker) and I have to admit I wish I had tried them sooner.

The shoe itself takes a little getting used to and they definitely aren't a shoe that you would use for anything other than running. Walking in them feels somewhat awkward because of the padding in the forefoot. Nevertheless, they are a dream to run in.

I typically wear a size 10.5 11 (with 11 being more common), and my Brooks are a size 11. The toebox is really roomy and I read this was to allow for your toes to spread out more during the run. I've got lots of toe room, to the point of the shoe feeling like it might be too big, but they fit perfectly.

I'm looking forward to putting some mileage on these shoes.

I began my brooks journey with the first pureflows and I run about 35 miles a week. These shoes are great! When my pureflow (1) gave out I went and bought another pair immediately and then saw that these came out. I ordered these in orange day one that I could and have put about 20 miles on them so far. These shoes are designed as more of a minimal type shoe for road running. Do not get the thought that they are toe shoe or minimalist, they are just more of a road shoe. The still give great support though. They are snug on the arch like you would want and wide in the shoe box which allows for a more natural foot plant at strike and to give you a little more grip and push for explosion. These have a lot to offer. With that said it mentions that you can expect only about 250-300 miles. I say that is extremely conservative. If the 2's last along as my last ones did, I got about 550 out of them including a full marathon. This can be expected depending upon your style of running, your pronation, if you take them off road a lot, how much you wear them outside of just the run (mine are on only to go run, no extra walking around or as little as possible)... Hope this helps.

Best Deals on Brooks Men's PureFlow 2 Lightweight Running Shoes

The PureFlow2 is, as the name would suggest, the second generation of the fully cushioned, 4mm drop shoe from the Brooks Pure Project. The Pure Project is Brooks' foray into minimalism, and they've seen decent success. The PureFlow2 (PF2) falls into roughly the same category of shoes as the Saucony Kinvara 3. Its light weight, low offset, and wide toe box put it squarely in the minimalist genre, while its full cushioning and stack height give the feel and protection of a more traditional trainer. Don't let the word "minimalist" throw you off, though. This shoe brings a lot to the table in terms of technology. "Technology?" you may ask. Why, yes. The PF2 is a walking, or perhaps running, (heh heh) contradiction. It is a minimalist shoe with all the bells and whistles.

Think, Smart Car with a lift kit, rims, hood scoop, and a fin. There's nothing wrong with such a Smart Car. The extras don't turn it into a gas guzzling SUV. But it does seem go against the ethos of why a Smart Car was built in the first place. To date, the Brooks PureFlow2 is the most technology equipped minimalist shoe I've ever used. The bad news is that some of these "technologies" do nothing for me. The good news is that they don't seem to inhibit me either. In fact, I even like some them.

The Best Parts

FitI really enjoy the feel of the tongueless, asymmetrical lacing system. I honestly wish more shoe companies would make the jump. I think asymmetrical lacing works because feet are asymmetrical. The thickness of a foot is not uniform, but traditional lacing systems treat the foot like it is. Instead of cinching the two pieces of the upper over the top of your foot, the upper of the PF2 swaddles the the foot with overlapping layers of maternal affection. I simultaneously feel secure and free. Good job, mama Brooks. Also, the PF2 run wider than some of the other PureProject shoes, which in my humble estimation is a big plus. Minimalist/barefoot enthusiasts love the extra space.

CushioningThe cushioning in the PF2, as I mentioned earlier, is very similar to the well loved Kinvara 3. It may be just a touch firmer if at all. Perfect for a daily trainer. My longest runs in these shoes have been between 9 and 10 miles, but they could easily perform well over longer distances; I suspect they'd be great up to a marathon. If you're used to running in something more on the barefoot end of the minimalist spectrum (like I was) then this will feel like quite a lot of cushion between you and the ground, enough to noticeably change your gait. Brooks claims that their BioMoGo DNA midsole is an "adaptive" cushioning system, meaning that it should feel firmer when running faster and and softer when running slower. If the midsole is actually accomplishing this, and I'm skeptical that it is, it's not all that noticeable.

Beveled HeelBrooks calls their beveled heel design, "Ideal Heel". Whatever they call it, it works great. It makes the shoes feel more level than the 4mm offset would suggest. Further, it delivers on the promise of moving the runner a little more forward in their stance making the mid/forefoot strike feel about as natural as it would in a zero drop shoe.

DurabilityAfter 100 miles, there is very little wear on the outsole rubber. It may be difficult to see in the photos, but there are very small, hexagonal etchings on the black in the rubber pods. The only difference I can see between the sole with 0 miles and the sole with 100 miles is that some of those etchings seem to have worn off. They served no function beyond aesthetics as far as I can tell, so the out sole rubber might as well be new. Likewise the upper is flawless.

Traction is good but not great; fine for every road I've been on. I took these out for two snowy/icy runs. They performed fine. They didn't catch my attention as being either excellent or sloppy. I slipped around a little, but not enough to think that the shoes were failing me.

The Worst Parts

As I mentioned, the worst part about this shoe that it's not as awesome as it wants to be, which isn't to say that the shoe is bad. Think of this section of "The Worst Parts" as "The Underwhelming and Mediocre Parts".

TechnologyTechnology is not bad. But I am pretty sure a good bit of the technology that is supposed to make these shoes unique and, indeed, supposed to set the entire PureProject apart, is non-functional. Take the Nav Band for example. It seems like nothing more than a piece of elastic waistband material. I can't tell if it's doing anything that the laces are not doing already. I can't feel it, so it is good that it doesn't bother me, but I'm not sure why it's there. The other bit of technology that has me scratching my head is the split toe. It's not a bad idea really. Other folks are doing it. The idea is that it'll allow the big toe to flex independently and in a more natural way. That would be fantastic if the big toe section could actually move. I can push, squeeze, compress and pull at the toes of the PF2's but I can not, for the life of me, make that big toe section budge one bit from the rest of the shoe. So how exactly does it allow my big toe to flex independently of the rest of my foot?

Weight and FlexibilityThe PF2's are light (8.5 oz), but they could be lighter. The upper is thick and firm. Here, I think the PF2 could learn from the Kinvara 3. The Kinvara is comparably cushioned, even slightly thicker (23mm/19mm heel and forefoot stack heights), uses a similarly strategic outsole rubber scheme, but manages to be noticeably lighter (0.6 oz lighter according runningwarehouse.com). So where does the extra weight come from? Almost certainly from upper materials including the Nav Band. The shoe is no clunker, but it's no feather weight either.

The PF2's flexibility, like some of its other features, is just ok. It's certainly more flexible than some of the other shoes Brooks makes (*cough* Beasts *cough*), but is just average compared to other minimalist shoes in it's category. On maybe one in ten runs I feel like I'm fighting the stiffness just a little. My foot wants to bend and flex in a way that is every so gently restricted. Perhaps another 100 miles will change it's mind.

Conclusion

The PF2 is a solid shoe and has been my go to daily trainer since January. I can't say that it has ever let me down. It leaves something to be desired in terms of simplicity, but the lack of simplicity is not a deal breaker. If you're looking for a transitional minimalist shoe, or just a cushioned daily trainer that is level, and feels stable and secure, you should take a look at the PureFlow2.

Honest reviews on Brooks Men's PureFlow 2 Lightweight Running Shoes

I recently purchased these to replace a pair of the Pureflow 1st generation shoes that I had used. I previously ran in New Balance Minimus shoes for the past couple years, but I'd been unable to go longer distances without getting injuries (usually forefoot pain). When I switched to the first generation pureflow, I LOVED them and thought I had found the perfect shoes. After putting 300-400 miles on them, I figured it was time to move to a new pair and I bought the Pureflow 2s.

I've been running on the pureflow 2s for almost a month now, and I don't like them. They aren't as comfortable as the 1st generation and I feel like they have less heel padding. The fit feels more like the NB minimus shoes, and I once again have gotten forefoot pain and knee pain (which stopped when I started using barefoot-style running shoes).

To be fair, I'm a bigger than your average runner (both height and weight), and these shoes may have been designed for someone with more of a traditional runner's physique. Anyway, I'm going to order more of the first generation pureflow shoes if I can find them in my size, and I'll probably give away the second generation pair.

I got these couple of weeks before running my first marathon and had no issues with them. They are really comfortable and light and provide nice support. I completed the marathon faster then I had trained for. I really like the way the lip is sewn on one side so that it does not move around. But after five months of running about 260 miles, they have become spongy and no longer provide adequate support and I started to get pain on back side of my heel. That is quite disappointing for such expensive shoes. So now I have bought a pair of Brooks Ghost 6 and lets see how they fare compare to these.

But that's about it. The belt fits snugly and the water bottles are a good size. The only complaint I have is that if you catch one squarely with your elbow or run up a steep hill, it is definitely possible for these to pop out of the belt. I have dropped a number of these already and lost one as well. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone who runs a lot of hills or trails.

A hydration belt is a necessity for any long run. This one is great, the bottles are easy to get in and out of the holster, my only problem is that I should've gotten a size bigger. Im usually a size 4/small, and the size 1 is a little snug. But it still works great, use it all the time.

Best Deals on Nike Running Hydration Belt (Black/ Anthracite/ Varsity Maize)

The velcro adjustment option is not good enough for a regular sized guy like myself (170 lb) I cannot tighten the belt enough as i run and it slips down on the run under the weight of its own filled bottles. Maybe they designed this belt for huge or fat people. My advice: don't buy this item.

Honest reviews on Nike Running Hydration Belt (Black/ Anthracite/ Varsity Maize)

I was nervous about getting this belt because there weren't many reviews... But it's almost perfect.

The only negative is that the pockets to hold things (such as gu's or cell phone) are not very big.

I am able to put my cell phone in a pocket but it sticks out a little.

The belt does not flop around on my waist at all. Very comfortable. Velcro holds well.

I have extremely flat feet and osteoarthritis in one foot and haven't been able to find comfortable shoes. Since I stand/walk a lot for work I need to have something comfortable; the Reebok classic and princess were no longer meeting my needs. I tried several different types of sneakers in several brands but found these Simply Tone Reeboks to be the most comfortable, especially as they have a strong arch support. They also have a wide "toe box" so my toes aren't cramped. As soon as I put them on I felt as if my feet were being "swaddled" in soft padding and they seemed a much better quality than some Sketchers I tried at the same time. While these aren't perfect they're as close as I've come and really feel a difference when I put my old Reebok's on. I'll definitely buy these again, I just wish they had them in black.

I usually wear one of my numerous $250 MBT shoes so I will be comparing this shoe to that quality of shoe and I will have to say that I love this shoe and it holds its own against my MBTs! First of all, the main thing I look for is shock absorption because I enjoy walking often and want the comfort of feeling like I am walking on clouds without shock on my skeletal system. These shoes are just as effective at shock absorption as my MBTs. The quality of material that is in the sole is very good. These shoes also do a great job of supporting my high instep so I kind of wonder about the review that says it is great for flat feet. These shoes don't appear as expensive as my $250 MBTs but they look worth every bit of the full retail on Reebok Women's Simplytone Fitness shoe. I got mine at Nordstrom rack for $69.99 plus CA tax less $25coupon and I am wearing mine often.

Also, these strengthen different muscles than the MBT rocking technology which mainly raises my "bottom line" (pun). The Reebok Simplytone seems to isolate/activate my upper adductors (inner thigh) and abductors (outer thigh) as well as my hamstrings above the knee while they seem to help stretch and relax my calf muscles. I don't know if that is what Reebok was aiming for but every woman is different and walks differently and I like how these work for me.

I highly recommend and am getting ready to order some from Amazon!

Honest reviews on Reebok Women's Simplytone Fitness Shoe

I bought a pair of simplytone 53025 yesterday and they felt wonderful. wanting to see how they rated with other people, I looked at the reviews here. When people started talking about the ankle support, I was confused. I also saw reviews stating they had worn this shoe for 20 years, but the sales clerk where I bought them said they were new (and they didn't look like 20 year old styles, and they didn't look like shoes you could wear to a conservative dress workplace either). So just be aware that the review may not be for the shoe you are thinking about. If you place your mouse cursor over the pictures, you can see 2 distinct styles of shoes. Make sure you buy the one you're interested in.

I have a high arch and always have trouble finding a comfortable shoe. I tried these (not for the toning aspect) but when I put them on they were comfortable and cradled my arch. Now at night I don't have the pain in my feet and the throbbing in my legs. I much prefer to be barefoot, but it's not good for me. So if you have high arches and have trouble finding comfortable shoes, than go with these sneakers for comfort. Thanks
