Review of Reebok Women's EasyTone Reeinspire Walking Shoe

I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND ORDERING A WHOLE SIZE LARGER THAN NORMAL.
I normally wear a size 6 across the board. Only once in a great while I have had to buy a 6.5 and that is usually with sandals. I ordered these Reebok's in a 6.5 since I had heard they run small and the 6.5 is still VERY snug on me. I thought maybe they would lossen up some after wearing them, but it isn't happening. It is to the point that my feet are literally going numb, they are so tight. They look big enough but once I put them on, wow, they are tight. I think it has something to do with the padding inside the sneaker. Even to hold them up to another pair of my size 6 sneakers, these are a little longer, so it has to be something on the inside making them run so small.
I have worn them all day and evening long for 3 days, hoping they would loosen up, but as I said above, no such luck. I haven't felt any difference in my legs while wearing them this very short time period and am hoping to have better results with a pair that fit properly. Boy do my feet feel sooo much better after taking them off! I can't believe they run so small. I have never, ever wore a size 7 shoe of any kind, but apparently that's what size I need with these!
They do look ghood and seem to be well made. I didn't notice my stability to be "off" at all, which is how they are supposed to work..but again, maybe that has to do with not fitting properly. The soles (the actual bottoms, the pods on the bottom) feel good. It cushions and presses in when you walk. They absorb impact very well because of the pods.
I ordered mine from EastBay in order to take advantage of Bing CashBack and I am going to return them for an even bigger size. Thanks goodness the shipping was free and free returns.
UPDATE AFTER RECEIVING CORRECT SIZE:
I have been wearing the size 7 now for 2 weeks. They fit MUCH better. I did have to "break" them in a little still though. I have to say that these are really comfortable now that I have been wearing them regularly. I am on my feet constantly at work, and again when I get home. I get alot of walking in at work though and I have a physical job and these sneakers have been great in a variety of ways.
First of all YES I do believe they do SOME toning. I believe this because I can FEEL it in my legs, thighs and butt. These sneakers are by no means a replacement for exercise, but rather a boost to the activity you already do. I already walk a ton, to these give me a boost.
Secondly, since I have been wearing these sneakers regularly I have a significant decrease in back aches/pains. I am telling you I used to have back aches every single day after work. It was to the point that once I stopped moving for a minute or two, my back would feel like it was stuck and I couldn't move and it just ached like crazy. I can honestly say without a doubt that these sneakers have reduced that problem greatly! I have almost no back pain at all since I have been wearing them. That in itself is amazing to me and even if they didn't provide the toning benefits, I would still buy them for relieving the back pain.
I think these sneakers, due to the cushions on the soles used for toning, greatly absorb impact and that is why they have been so helpful wiTH my back pain. That is the only thing I can think of. They feel great to walk around in/on all day. They are very cushiony. With the balls on the bottom, it feels like you are stepping onto a cushion with each step. The ball things are soft kinda and push in as you step down.
I have never been a Reebok fan but I gaurantee I will buy more of these sneakers once this pair wears out. The comfort level and the decrease in my back pain/problems has me absolutely thrilled. The toning benefits are great too, but it is a close tie with relieving the back pain. That was an added, unexpected bonus that I am grateful for. I am so glad that I decided to give these a try and I do recommend them for the toning benefits and for relieving back pain. Totally worth it. JUST MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE RIGHT SIZE A SIZE LARGER THAN USUAL.

I really couldn't tell at the time how comfortable these shoes were, but still liked them. The 2nd day I tried w/o the TED hose and just wore a sock. AMAZING difference. They were so comfortable & breathable. That night I could feel the backs of my legs ached a slight bit, like I had done a short workout. A couple more days down and still experiencing the same results.
Do I expect these to give me rock hard muscles, no, but I do believe they will benefit me in 2 ways, help give a boost on toning and let me work in comfort at the same time. Who knows I may be shocked on the toning benefits over time. I will say that I do feel as though my posture is better with these. I also noticed my legs don't seem to tire, as with other shoes.
Would I recommend these to a friend? YES! Would I buy another pair? Yes, in fact I am thinking about going ahead and ordering another pair to have on hand & a pair of flip flops.

I'm actually not much of a sneaker person, but after reading so many positive reviews for this product, I had to give them a try. They are very comfortable, sort of like walking on pillows. Whether or not they'll really help me tone-up remains to be seen, but even the first day wearing them it felt like my legs muscles had gotten a light workout; obviously not the same calibre as a gym workout, but definitely that faint soreness after wearing them around the house for a few hours. I have had my eye on these since the first commercial. I owned a pair of toning flip flops from curves and loved the feel and comfort and hoped these would be the same, only more stylish. I got a pair of EasyTone Reeinspire for Christmas. I have worn them about 4 or 5 days a week. I was really happpy with them until this week. I bought these shoes with the hope to tone my legs and butt.. These are very comfortable shoes. They have a roomy toe box which I like since my feet are borderline wide and these provide ample, but not too much, room for my toes. They are true to size and I love that they are so lightweight. Most of my previous athletic shoes have been heavier and these are a refreshing change. Would buy again in fact, I bought a second pair since I liked these so much.

Very comfortable shoe. If you have very narrow feet, you may need to add some type of extra gel insole for extra cushioning in about six months as the regular insoles wear down. The sneakers are comfortable but they are peeling already. They look much older than what they are because of this. The shoe itself is extremely comfortable but the workmanship is shoddy so I am not sure they will last too long. I have had many Avias before and this is the first time this has happened.
Discount Columbia Women's Ravenous Trail Running Shoe
Got these to do some lite hiking while recovering from knee injury including knee bursitis. I've never bought Columbia shoes before, as we have no outlet here in Hawai'i.
I tried on many many brands and styles while on a recent trip to Washington State, but as soon as I put these on they fit perfectly this one is great for my foot: high arch, over-pronator. I'm 170 lbs, 5 feet 8 in. tall in case that helps anyone reading this. My feet have never been more comfortable AND stable at the same time. I've not used them for trail running though, so have no comment on that aspect.
The larger problem with this shoe is also a faulty made pair--that my daughter complained about that I dismissed. Only when she returned them to me did I noticed that the left is deeper in the heel than the right. If I wear these, I will create an unhealthy walk that could cause more problems that I do not need.
I hope to talk with Amazon about returning these. It's a shame because they look so lovely on the market page. I have learned my lesson: I will not buy another Columbia trail shoe. My advice: Go Vasque. This morning, I tried this pair on and felt the deep gap in the left shoe, changed to my Vasques, and walked for two hours.

I bought these for my daughter, a runner and a hiker, but she complained about the back tip of the shoe gnawing her. I'm afraid that she's right, but it's a combination of Columbia and my genetic engineering since my daughter has my cankels. When I looked at the slits, I can see the top is basically made of paper-thinned plastic, it breaks down from the folding and unfolding motion, nothing to do with the weather or road condition.
All the weight of the shoe stays at the sole, it cannot produce anything close to a barefoot feeling. It has a huge toe box, which could be a plus in some situations.

I bought a pair of Vivobarefoot Evo this summer, put them under light normal use for about 4, 5 weeks, yet the nylon top by the 1st ball of foot started to crack on the left shoe first then on the right shoe, and the slits extended very quickly. I ordered this because I saw other rave reviews. I think these are fun shoes and I wear them to train at the gym. I find these to be a bit high in the back of my foot maybe it will get better the more I use. Personally I run in Saucony. They are the best most comfortable running shoe I have ever worn. But these reebok are a change of pace and I have received a lot of compliments on them. Don't think I'd run a long distance in them....

I bought these as a recommendation from a runners store after they did a full foot and stride analysis and recommended these running shoes for me. My knee pain is gone while I run. This is a great shoe. I am very happy with this purchase! I will buy them again when they wear out.

I'm nearly 50 yrs old and run several times a week from 3-8 miles each outing. I have a high arch and need a wider toe box. These shoes are the best! These are nice shoes and so far I am enjoying them. The one problem I have is big toe bunions and the last pair of Nike shoes I bought had extra pads on the big toe and little toe area which made the comfort level the greatest. I find these shoes to cause pain after I walk my 4-6 miles. Not sure that is an accurate statement as it may not be the shoes causing the pain, but my big toes are sore after walking in these shoes. Thought I would try these as my old style was not available in my size.

The Maranas are doing extremely well holding up after only a 2 weeks of skating. There is only a couple stitchings showing on side of the shoe from my flick foot. Great shoe, stylish and all. But they don't have the comfort I expected. They say the comfort should've been outstanding and should be a 'great shoe'. Not what I think. In the Navy, I have to get up at Zero dark hundred sometimes for runs and other "fun" stuff (i.e., PT or exercise).
Dealing with shoe laces in the dark and in a rush can sometimes lead to loose laces or laces coming untied. Not a good idea to call attention to yourself in formation with laces flopping around on the ground, and really bad to fall out during a run to re-tie a shoelace.
I put these in my running shoes and -VOILA! PROBLEM SOLVED! With a quick squeeze of the speedlock and a yank of the laces, the shoes are snug and then I just stuff the ends deep inside my shoe. NO PROBLEMS.
The gray laces are low-key and aren't noticed. No one seems concerned with the little squeeze thing on my laces (it is pretty small and gray too, so it doesn't stand out). They are great. Very happy with them.
If your shoelaces do not need replacement I would suggest buying cordlocks (58 cents at walmart for 2 pair or available inexpensively elsewhere) and installing them. the basic concept is install cordlocks onto laced shoes and tie a not at the end to keep the cordlock from coming off.

About 6 years ago, I bought my first pair of Columbia trail shoes for hiking. I found them to be the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned and in that time, put a lot of miles on them. But all good things come to an end and it was time to replace them. Even though I am not one who thought that buying shoes online was a good idea (it seems that I can try on the same size of different shoes in the store and they all fit differently), I decided that perhaps shoes from the same manufacture would fit the same. So I searched Amazon specifically for Columbia shoes. I do not like flashy shoes with intense colors so I gravitated to these (Verdant/Cordovan). I can say that they are just as comfortable, if not more comfortable, than my original pair. I have only been on 4 hikes with these so far, so I cannot comment on durability, but my old Columbia trail shoes lasted me a good long time and I beat the heck out of them, so I anticipate these being just as tough. Great fit, comfortable and just the right style. Happy with my purchase.
