I bought the Vibram Fivefingers SeeYa LS with the shoelace. Unfortunately I have wide feet (DD) and this shoe is much too narrow for my feet. I have the proper size for my feet, but the width in the center of the shoe does not give for a wide foot. Otherwise this is a great shoe! I am almost always barefoot and these shoes are like heaven for me.

PUMA Men's Faas 250 Trail Running Shoe Review

I purchased these about a month ago, and I was immediately impressed how comfortable they were. I use them on the trail and on the treadmill 5 times a week, and no matter where I use them I've been impressed with the comfort and durability. I will say they are made better for trail running, but I've had no issues running on the treadmill with them either. I'm not surprised as every pair of Puma shoes I've purchased have always been of the best quality. I purchased the black and yellow color scheme, and love the look of them. A great product that I highly recommend!
These are very flexible so you never need to untie them for daily non-athletic use. Just pull them on like slippers, there is no tongue to get all outta whack and they actually have to decent trail grip and cushion.
They look good with shorts or pants, and the yellow and black contrast nicely.

These shoes are perfect for what I needed for trail running. The grip they have is more impressive than I imagined, in fact I was not used to having such traction on my carpet and it took a little while to get used to. They are extremely light-weight, they have a great fit and nice cushioning. The design is a little... different in that like someone else said it kind of goes on like a sock as the fabric portion is all one piece w/o a tongue. It fit great though and can't wait to use them on the trails.Buy New Balance KJ634 Running Shoe (Infant/Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)

My son and I both have wide feet only in the front, I got him a pair, black, to see how they felt to him. He loves then, they are light comfortable, awesome flat laces and he says they help him run really fast. So I got myself a pair. I wear a 7 1/2 in women's the 5.5 is great but not as wide as I expected through the toes in the larger size. They are comfortable lightweight easy to move in. I will be getting my son another pair.Saucony Progrid Xodus Trail Shoe (Little Kid/Big Kid) Review

Excellent product for the narrow-footed child. My daugher wears the silver Saucony. I am so glad to have found a shoe for my narrow-footed kid. Highly recommended.I LOVE saucony shoes for myself, but this was the first pair of childrens shoes I have bought. They held up better then any other tennis shoes I have bought my daughter and still look good. She has had them for 6+ months and is now just about grown out of them, but they are still fabulous!

Running shoes are definitely something you should try on in multiple sizes, styles and brands before buying.
I am not a big runner, well actually I am. I'm big for a female--I'm tall, and I lift weights and I am at the upper limits of a healthy BMI (but still healthy!!). I also have somewhat higher than average arches and a fairly neutral gait. I am currently running a few miles 3 times a week (mixing it up with swimming, biking and wt lifting). I have run a couple of 10 miler races as well. I am not fast. At all.
What I do have is picky feet. I have a tendency towards irritating the metatarsals in my right foot and MANY brands are made in such a way that this is actually aggravated by whatever cushioning system they use. The Pumas do not however. They are cushioned like a dream and with them I have no nagging injuries or pains.
This is a well built shoe that works great!
HOWEVER, before buying on line make sure you do your due diligence and make sure this will work as well for you. I cannot emphasize this enough...you have to try them on to find the ones that work! Once you find them buy more than one pair!
For my picky feet carrying a bit of a load--the cushioned nature and design of this shoe is perfect!

i) Excellent fit
ii) Excellent comfort
iii) Good grip on varied surfaces
iv) Nice looks
v) In-time shipping
vi) Good packaging
CONS:
i) Over-priced perhaps a price band of around 55 65 USD would have been ideal.
I live in New Delhi along with my wife (who is rather petite & slightly heavy). I was wanting to gift her a pair of good quality sneakers as an encouragement (for the obvious need I say!). She was already using an year old PUMA purchased locally. Neither of us are brand loyal PER SE (we are only VFM conscious), but I somehow ended up searching for a pair on Amazon and she chose this one from a list of options I had sifted through (multifarious brands of course). I had shipped the package to a friend who stays in the US and she had it arranged to be delivered to me.
Compared to the locally purchased Puma (which is still in good condition), my wife found the Puma Velosis-2 many notches above. She's actually puffed up with satisfaction and she says that comfort and precision-of-fit-wise, it's far far better than her existing Puma, the model of which, I am afraid, I cannot make out perhaps the relevant tags have worn out or something.
Overall, she is satisfied 5 on 5; Myself, I'd say 4 on 5 the one star being discounted entirely because of high(er) price.
Hope the above helps.
Cheers!

I like high-tops. They are versatile and little pebbles or seed pods don't get stuck in my shoes if I run in a field with my dog. High-tops generally mean Basketball shoes. Basketball shoes are crazy. Crazy colors, materials, prices and they aren't ideal for what I wear sneakers for. I just wanted a sneaker that was comfortable, conservative and performs well. Most nikes are a little narrow for my foot, so I have to suffer for a week or two until they loosen up. These feel great day one. I will update the post on how they wear and perform. So far, I couldn't be happier.Best Fila Skele-Toes Outdoor Running/Hiking Shoes Men & Women Different Deals

Good shoe, probably not as durable as the Vibram 5 fingers, but only about 1/2 the price. Certainly easier to get on, as the last two toes are a single sleeve in this shoe.
I have hiked Bishops Peak in them as a test, they worked well even though true lug sole boots are really called for. Sizes are standard and run true, same great fit as all my others. For Watter I use a full rubber style, for teaching 8 hr classes and just about everything else these rock!

Asics shoes have always fit me best. I have bunions and these shoes accommodate my feet without too much give. This is probably my 5th or 6th pair, and I love them all. Plus, I'm not on the barefoot running train yet, and these have nice cushioned gel soles. I always get a somewhat outdated model and I find them great value.Best Deals on ASICS Women's Gel-Equation 6 Running Shoe
I am in my late 60's and have two pairs of Gel-Equation 5 and wanted more but none were available in size 8. Since this shoe is now replaced by the Gel-Equation 6, I decided to give this one a try. I use this shoe primarily for walking and casual wear. The fit seems to be true to the 5's except for the toe guard on the front is cut a little differently. I wore them for the first time when I went shopping and doing lots of errands and pleasantly to my surprise, they made my feet feel great. I generally walk one to two miles a day for exercise. I would recommend these shoes for whatever your walking habits are.LJW in Alabama

I now have two pair in case they quit making this model. Very comfortable for high mileage walking (8 to 10 miles) due to no more running with artificial knees.
I wore this for a 10k trail run. Even though brand new it felt as comfortable as used one. Plan to use it much more and finally for my 50K. Awesome product. Will update few months later.
I run about 40 70 miles a week with most runs being about 10 miles. No problems and a very small number of blisters!
I have to admit I use these shoes for running on a road. I havent run off road in a long time but it doesnt matter this shoe works great for both uses.
The only down side for me are the colors. They started adding the lime green highlight this year and honestly I dont care for it. But color doesnt matter too much if the shoe is comfortable for long distance running.
While I used to think the trail shoe was a gimmick to get runners to buy yet another pair of shoes, I found that these were well worth it for trail racing. First, the tread grips mud, sand, grass and wet rock really well. Since I had raced one of the trail runs before in my conventional racers, I could get a good comparison of the grip-these shoes make a noticeable difference.Interestingly, they slide very easily on smooth surfaces, such as my tiled kitchen floor-so it is a good idea to watch your step. It would be rather ironic (and painful) to tear up the trails only to fall in your kitchen while reaching for the Gatorade.
Second, they seem sturdy and are relatively lightweight. I use them for trail racing, so that is a plus. When not racing, I just wear my trainers-even on trails.
Third, they handle water quite well. The first race I wore these, we had to run through a flooded area. The shoes drained quickly and were surprisingly light after being soaked. Since many trail races feature water, this is a nice feature.
Like many running shoes, the claimed size is off. They are about a half size larger than the stated size. I still do not get why sizing cannot be correct, but most runners are familiar with that weirdness.
Overall, I really love this shoes-they are what I wear for trail and cross country racing now.

While I regularly train on trails and have been running for over 30 years, I did my first really technical trail race this summer. While I have had no trouble racing cross country using my racing shoes, this trail was another story. I've been running in Brooks Trance 7 shoes for the past couple years, believing they were the best...I found an article and the website for SPIRA and thought I give them a try. WOW!
These shoes are truly amazing. I run in 5Ks...up to Half-Marathons. These shoes help incredibly with the impact on my joints...they're great! I'm currently training to run a full marathon and with these shoes...it won't be a problem!!
The day after I ordered them they were at my doorstep!! Super FAST delivery!!! VERY HAPPY!
As for fit, well, they are a little narrow, but it's OK for me. I'm just pointing that out if that's a problem for you. They could use more arch support as far as I'm concerned.
I decided to keep these because I thought the spring thing might make a difference on a long walk. I've used them now, so they are mine. I have gone on several long walks and I find them to be good, average shoes, which I would usually pay $39-69 for.
Really think about it before purchasing. The springs aren't going to give you a magical lift. But, if you want a pretty good shoe at this price, go ahead and purchase.
