These shoes fit well, and they look great. My son loves them. Like the pull cord idea, however, the cords are way to long and pose a trip hazard. It would be nice to be able to shorten them, without cutting or tying them in a knot.

It's nice, comfy, and not heavy. Great for kids to run in. No more worries about the bunny ear and loop thing coz it only takes a few second to tighten or loosen it!!!Best Deals on Salomon Trax Hiking Shoe (Little Kid/Big Kid)

Fits well, lightweight, and comfortable on all terrain or on the street. Good for casual wear or for running. Decent grip for this style of shoe.It is unfortunate that so far there has been no review for this pair of shoes. They are super light and extremely comfortable. I have bought a pair of mesh (size 8) and a pair of leather (size 7.5; even the columbia site doesn't have size 8 at the moment). They are both equally and very breathable, not as breathable as a pair of boat shoes to be sure, but even on 90+ degree days they would still keep your feet reasonably warm but definitely not hot. They are so light that you don't fell like wearing shoes at all: the mesh pair weigh 8.0oz/shoe and the leather one weighs 8.75oz/shoe. Since I can't really feel the difference, I picked the leather pair since they look nicer (i.e. the one with black leather, which are difficult to find now). Traction is good. Sizing is normal. The outsole is thin but surprisingly I feel very sufficient cushioning. Given the style and the construction, I think the Flightfoot is good for trail running but best for everyday wear. One more thing: the shoes have some but not a lot of arch support, which I personally don't mind but for some people it may be a concern.

I call them my Spidey Shoes as they are great on a trail. No slipping ever. Unfortunately they don't make them any more. I usually wear a women's 9 1/2 or 40, but in these I needed a men's 9. It should have been closer to a men's 8...

I am disappointed in these shoes. I am an older runner, about 185 pounds, and was hoping for some relief from the impact. The springs seemed innovative and a possibility but I have felt less impact in the Adidas Supernova for half the price.

Very good, very comfortable, not heavy at all! Ran about 7 miles the first day I got them and had absolutely no foot pain whatsoever. The grey ones don't look at slick as the other colors, but they're really great anyways!Honest reviews on Spira Men's Genesis2 Mesh Running Shoe
I had knee and back problems every couple of months after getting a new pair of running shoes. I was 220 lbs and a very heavy footed runner. I purchased these shoes last May and I still run in them consistently. I am under 200lbs mostly due to fact that my knees and back do not bother me anymore. I recommend these shoes to anyone. You may not be able to dunk a basketball or run like a gazelle from your springs, but they definitely help your aches and pains.Review of Ed Hardy Men's Highrise Casual Shoe

I had to return the first pair because the snaps on the left shoe would not stay snapped. I got the new ones in yesterday an they were worst. Each shoe when you snap one side an go to snap the other side, the first one snapped would come un-snapped. I love the shoes so what I did was find a Upholstery Shop an paid $8.00 for 4 new black snaps for both shoes. They look great an I'm gonna take my old Ed Hardy shoes back to the same shop an have them put silver snaps on.
So great shoes!!!
Bad Snaps (will have to have them replaced an it only cost me $8.00). I just cant see this being a problem on my first pair and the replacement pair.
Thanks love the shoes. Plz check the snaps on all these shoes before shipping.

I am a runner, 2-3 miles daily.. not a ton of running but enough to still need a good shoe. I bought these ASICS after my NIKES disappointed me. These shoes are great. Light, breathable, cute, comfortable and inexpensive for a running shoe. Normally I wear 8.5 but I purchased a 9 and they fit perfect, I would suggest ordering 1/2 size up from what you normally wear. So far I am in LOVE with these shoes!
One thing: I have slightly narrow feet, but narrow shoes tend to be too narrow. I don't know if feet that fit comfortably in most shoes would be too wide for these or not. So I would suggest finding them somewhere to try on before buying them online.
I will definitely be buying a few more pair so that I can have them on hand. The price was great and I get a lot of compliments on the color, too! :)
Only downside is that they don't keep my feet warm when it's cold out, but few shoes do.

So far, I am thrilled with these shoes. I think it's been several years since I found a shoe this comfortable to walk in. My ankles and ball of foot aren't hurting after a long walk, which has been a problem. Honestly, for the price, if they wear out in 6 months I won't be too upset if I have to buy another pair. Strangely enough, the last pair that impressed me this much (10-freaking-years ago) were asics. I just couldn't find a pair with the correct soul anywhere when they needed to be replaced. One thing: I have slightly narrow feet, but narrow shoes tend to be too narrow. Fits true to size and is very comfortable for extended physical activity. Just purchased two more pairs as this style may be getting to the end of it's life. In the past 2 years have purchased 3 other pairs, one of which is still in play. These receive brutal use in hot weather, much of the time on astro turf, and they keep the feet happy. Worn casually year round. Best ever, they really hold up well.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for ASICS Women's GEL-Sayuri Running Shoe
These are the most comfortable running shoes I've ever had! They are so light and flexible I almost feel like I don't have a shoe on (compared to some running shoes, anyway). I should have exchanged them but too lazy. They fit a tad small but a size up would have been too big. They were just so cool in color that I didn't want to give them up. This is my second pair. They are so comfortable. Small rocks get stuck in the soles but they are easily removed by bending the shoe.

It might have been a defect in the shoes I had purchased but the inside ankle on the left shoe was extremely tight and ended up digging into my ankle and leaving a blister within the first twenty minutes of wear.
Besides the ankle issue, the sole of the shoe was extremely flat and hard. I stand on my feet all day at work and ended up swapping shoes thirty minutes into my shift because they were uncomfortable.
Like I said it could have just been a defect with my shoes because other reviews I read were good but if you're on your feet all day I wouldn't recommend these.
I couldn't find these any where at where I live (Singapore) so I had to buy them online. I was pretty worried about the size but I went ahead to get a US 8 (UK 6) which was the size of my Nikes. When it finally came, it fit perfectly. I guess you don't have to worry that it'll deviate a lot from your other shoe brand sizes since it's true to size.
New Balance shoes are also slightly wider in width than my other shoes, which meant better comfort for me.
The colour was great, the blue was super bright and neon-y!
I'M SUPER IN LOVE WITH MY SHOES RIGHT NOW I CAN HUG THEM TO BED (you get the jist).

Great shoe. The only complaint I have was that sizing explanations are a bit confusing, so at first I mistakenly bought a shoe for a 5-year-old sized boy, rather than the youth-size that my 10-year-old would need. The hassle was minimal because I was able to do an exchange fairly easily. Go by size in centimeters and you can avoid this mix-up. Buying insoles is something of a gamble. The ideal insole will support ones foot in its neutral position even under the increased stress of walking or running. The only sure way to achieve that is to make a mold of the feet and have the insoles custom made.
However, I've found that for my feet and biomechanics the Dean Karnazes insoles are a reasonable compromise. They fit almost as well as orthotics fitted by a podiatrist and cost much, much less. (Only a podiatrist can customize orthotics to alter the runner/walker's stride to reduce stress on an injured joint.)
In the past I've tried other insoles with mixed results. Superfeet green: The arch is too high for me; they're painful to walk on. They might be perfect for someone with high arches. Superfeet blue: They advertise them as being for low-volume shoes (e.g. dress loafers). The truth is that they are for people with lower arches, even if they wear high volume shoes. They feel a little high, but I walked with them daily for several months until I got the urge for better cushioning in the forefoot.
I tried ArchMolds blue. I liked the increased cushioning compared to Superfeet. However, the arch was a little too high. Twice I heated and molded them per the instructions, and now they're almost right.
The Dean Karnazes insoles just happen to match the shape of my arch better than the any of the others. The left one felt almost perfect from the start. I heat molded it once. I've heat molded the right one twice per the instructions. Now they are more comfortable than the ArchMolds.
However, my favorite has turned out to be from Montrail, the Enduro-Sole LP, even though they could use more padding in the forefoot. I heated the right one once to achieve a very good fit. A bonus is that they fit perfectly into my Montrail Hardrock hiking shoes. I'm not really a hiker, but at 285 lbs I figure I need the same all-around support as someone carrying a heavy backpack.
The bottom line is that the DKs may be perfect for you -or maybe not. They combine fairly aggressive, yet flexible arch support with better cushioning than some others. In any case they are well made and should last a long time.
Oh, and regardless of which insole is right for you, be sure you know your true shoe size before you make the purchase. My heel to ball size, as indicated by a Brannock device, is a full size larger than my heel to toe size. In my case going with the larger size insole better positions the arch support relative to my arch.

You get what you pay for. Quality product that performs well. Only negative is that I sometimes have to heat them twice to get the proper fit in my running shoes. Also, as with stiffer orthotics, they take my feet a week or so to get used to the new arch support. After that, golden! I tried on my first Mizunos just about a year and a half ago after wearing Brooks and haven't looked back. I've taken a pronation test to see what type of shoe I need, and it seems as if one of my legs is slightly longer than the other (which I think is pretty common for people and is definitely not noticeable). My feet are somewhere in between light support and a neutral shoe with about a medium-wide toe box.
My first Mizunos were the Wave Elixir 6 which I ended up falling for. After about a year and a half, I figured it was time for a new pair of shoes (running about 14-21 miles a week on average). Of course, it's recommended to change your shoes about once every 6 months so it may be best not to take the risk. I do find, however, that a Dr. Scholl's heel insert really pushes your shoe to its tread and comfort limit.
I have never had a problem with these shoes, but keep in mind that everyone's pronation is different so it's best to find the shoe that is right for you. As a runner, I also recommend ordering your shoe a half size up since your feet tend to expand when you sweat.
I'm also an artist and am always looking for something on the more vibrant end of the spectrum in my running shoes, and these never fail to dissapoint. I love wearing my new Mizunos! Not only do they have a fun attractive design; they are also completely comfortable and cradle my entire foot which is great on a long run or any kind of training class. Enjoy!
The Wave Elixir continues with a lightweight shoe that fit my feet to a T! My previous Mizuno Wave Elixirs have included the Elixir 4, and the Elixir 5. I truly missed my Elixir 4 after having bought the 5. The 5, to me, seemed more narrow around the front, but had a longer toebox, neither of which felt that comfortable. Once I put the Elixir 7's on, it felt like my beloved Elixir 4's -I was in heaven.
I'm surprised to have seen some reviews mentioning that it's narrow, as it was not for me, but if you're looking for an overall lightweight runner, give this one a try.
Perhaps my feet have expanded every which way, but I originally though my toe was too close to the front of the shoe, so I went home to try my old runners it seemed to also be very close to the front. I tried a half size bigger, and it just didn't fit the same. Anyway, I have run in them and have had no issues whatsoever with my toe hitting the front of the shoe. The sizes are the same as with previous versions.
As well, it is very flexible, and have had no issues with the flexibility while running.
Finally, I give kudos to the designers of this year's running line it's colourful and fun!
