These shoes are comfortable and good looking. I love them. I am a chef and wear them 12-16 hours a day without my feet hurting.
People seem to have sizing issues with these shoes, but I was too hesitant to buy in a different size. I'm glad I didn't because the length is perfect. The width, however, is a bit odd to me. I have a slightly wider foot at my toes, but I buy and wear normal shoes. These shoes seem wide to me at the toe and instep. My feet don't slide around, but a slimmer style would've been more attractive (the image gives you a good idea of what the shoes will look like overall). If I wore these with a thick pair of wool socks, they'd fit perfectly. As people have mentioned, the shoes are snugger around the opening and a bit tricky to get on (not too bad). I noticed the tongue-part of the shoe pressed against the top of my foot the first time I wore the shoes, but I haven't noticed since. No breaking in required.
The support is minimal. The sole feels like a thicker ballet flat's sole and there is minimal arch support. The insert is removable, but I have yet to upgrade it. My feet and calves feel tired after a shift on my feet, but they have not hurt.
I'll probably try a different style when these wear out, but I'm happy to wear them in the meantime.

I am very happy with these Sketchers. I am a cook and am on my feet all day. These shoes are comfortable and look much "cooler" than typical chef shoes. I love that they are slip resistant!! If I ever have to replace these shoes I hope to buy this same shoe again. I think they fit true to size. Since they are slip on's it was a little hard to get them on the first couple times with my thick socks. The only negative is that the first couple times I wore them they rubbed against my left heel, but I just put some moleskin around my heel and now after a couple weeks they are totally broken in and feel great. Great purchase!Best Deals on Skechers for Work Women's Bikers - Snapdragon Slip On Sneaker
I'm a nurse practitioner in a hospital, and I bought these shoes as my work shoes. I needed something stylish enough to go with my dress clothes, but comfortable enough to walk(or run!) in all day long. These fit the bill! They are roomy enough for my size 11 feet AND my custom insoles, and they let my feet breathe. I have been wearing them 5 days a week, 9-10 hours a day for the past 4 months, and my only complaint is that I have 2 tears in the leather toe of the left foot I'm not sure if I kicked something & tore it, or if the fabric just gave out. Either way, I'm ordering another pair!Honest reviews on Skechers for Work Women's Bikers - Snapdragon Slip On Sneaker
I bought these shoes for a server position. Black, slip-resistant shoes were required, and--after reading positive reviews for these shoes here and elsewhere--I picked these (my previous pair were killing my feet). These shoes are alright; nothing spectacular but workable. I just recently purchased these shoes. I really like them and they're cute shoes, but in my case, the openings of the shoes were way too small. I was unable to slip my feet into the shoes. I don't have huge ankles, but they're not tiny either. So unfortunately, I had to return them because there's no way for me to get them on my feet. The opening doesn't stretch either. This is the only reason I gave them 3 stars. Had I been able to get them onto my feet, I think I probably would have given them a 5.Adidas Liquid 2 Grey/Pink Ladies Running Shoes Review

I've got these shoes a few months ago and have been wearing almost everyday. I love the design. Never seen such a comfortable and nice looking pair of shoes before. For those who have doubts, stop thinking and buy them! You can't go wrong with Adidas. Personally, I'll never spend money on other big brands. They are not as comfortable as Adidas, plus the quality is not even comparable!
I am very happy with my choice. I should add that the delivery was on time. These shoes were a gift to my daughter and she really likes them. Says they are very comfortable and so cute!

I am an ultra runner who runs over 500 miles a month. I run barefoot style and have been using the Nike free line for over 4 years and have tried all the models. I like them all but the run 2, which feels like a slipper, is my favorite. They are also the longest lasting shoe I have ever owned which is important to me. If you can find a shield version they last even longer. Great Shoe!Honest reviews on Nike Men's NIKE FREE RUN+ 2 EXT RUNNING SHOES

Love this shoe. I purchased it for my daughter and am actually looking for a pair for myself. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it runs small (about 1 to 1.5 sizes too small).

These shoes are great, I often work 16 hours shift. They are the only shoes that actually absorb the pressure from my toes to my heels. They are also great for the gym , I also find them better than my Training Shoes. I am actually waiting for the red to be available in my size so I can grab a pair. I highly recommend them.

We bought these two months ago for my 10 year old son. Now, as 10 year old boys go, shoes don't last very long at all, but I usually can eek out about 3 to 4 months from one pair of shoes. Not these. It's been a few days over 2 months he's had these, and they are ripping apart on both shoes below the lace eyelets. So, here I am on Amazon looking for yet another new pair of sneakers. A life-long Nike supporter, I decided to get fitted for a running shoe since I am preparing for the Houston Marathon. I knew that I had flat, narrow feet, but I didn't know that I had a problem with pronation until the salesman watched my running stride. Telling him that my previous shoe was a Nike Vomero 6, I half-expected him to bring out the Vomero 7s. Was I stunned when he fitted me with Mizuno Wave Inspire 8.
The moment I put on these stability shoes I knew I was wearing something special. When I ran with them in the store, my ankles didn't turn, and, in a way, it made my feet feel wider. The one comment the salesman made was that the Wave Inspire takes a little bit longer to adjust to a runner's feet, but after running with them a couple of shorter runs of four and five miles, these shoes paid huge dividends on the long run of 13 miles.
What I experienced on that long run was close to divine. I recognized that the Wave 8's designers understood the needs of long distance runners for the simple fact that the shoes prevented much of the energy from the pavement weakening my legs. As a result of the shoe's technology, I can run longer distances at a faster pace without my legs and feet feeling it afterwards.
I will continue using my Nike Vomeros for my gym workouts, but if you're a long distance runner (or at least trying to be as I am), then I definitely recommend being fitted for a running shoe at your local shoe store. You may be surprised. In my case, I found a wonderful stability shoe in the Mizuno Wave Inspire 8!

When it came time to replace my worn-out Wave Inspire 7's, I got curious about another company that had my "Adrenaline" all pumped up by their fancy technology for absorbing shock. I thought they'd provide better cushioning, but in the middle of a half marathon when knee pain kicked in, I wasn't "running happy", and finally admitted what the blisters and dead cat bounce cushioning had been telling me all along: it was time to try the Wave Inspire 8's. Wow! and Awesome! are understatements. This is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn for my size 13, somewhat narrow and mildly overpronating feet. Mizuno got everything dialed in perfectly on this model. I'm battling the urge to stockpile a bunch so I can have a great shoe to run in for the next ten years. The 8's have a slightly reduced upper around the ankle (nice, because the 7's initially rubbed my ankle bone), a slightly more roomy toe box, and better forefoot cushoining than the 7's. I did a 20 mile run last week, had no pain anywhere, and the blisters are gone. The guy at the running store told me once people run in Mizuno's, they don't go back to other brands. I certainly learned my lesson! Couldn't recommend them more.Best Deals on Mizuno Men's Wave Inspire 8 Running Shoe
I had the wave inspire 6 and they were a great running shoe. I was excited for the wave inspire 7, but was disappointed very quickly once I put them on to go running. They were not the most comfortable, especially around the ankle. In fact, I bought another pair of 6s because I didn't like the 7s. When it came to the wave inspire 8 I was weary because of my dissatisfaction with the 7s, but because of how good my wave inspire 6s were, I decided to give them a shot. The 8s are better than the 6s, and much better than the 7s. I am very satisfied with the wave inspire 8. It is very comportable, and a solid running shoe. When the pair I have are worn down, I will not hesitate to buy another pair. Great shoe!Honest reviews on Mizuno Men's Wave Inspire 8 Running Shoe
After running my first marathon in 2009 and going thru a good number of shoes leading up to it I felt like I would be a life long Asics wearer. Now that I am doing some serious training again for a half marathon I noticed some knee issues and just general comfort issues with my current pair of Asics training shoes. I was wearing the Asics Gel 3020, since I was told I was a moderate over pronator. I know these were not the best Asics out there, but at this point in my training I was only running 7 miles max, 3-4 times a week. The tread was wearing quickly and I only had 140 miles on them. I made a trip to my local running store, told them my issues and they did a full eval and fit again. I kept telling the clerk ASIC this and that, maybe Brooks, but he finally talked me into trying others including these Mizuno Wave Inspire 8's. As soon as I looked at them I was skeptical, but as soon as I put them on I was instantly open minded. They were noticeably lighter, had good response in my step. I then took them for a short spin on the track at the store and definitely knew I was on to something. I decided to buy a pair there since at the time they were $115.00, the same as Amazon. $40 Cheaper than the Asics I was considering. I took them out the next day for a short 5K and had not foot or knee pain. I also noticed less leg fatigue. The stance of these took some getting used to since to me it feels like the rear heel sits lower than most other running shoes I have had in the past. I quickly noticed though this meant a much smoother transition through each foot strike to push off. The cushion was great, much better than my last Asics, even with out the magical gel. The shoe breathes great, very important in Florida. The wear has been good and I am up to 100 miles now in this pair. The Inspire 9 is out which is good for me and you since these are now priced at $87. Going to get another pair now for Christmas. I would highly recommend these! FYI I am 5'10 and 200lbs, so yes they are good at a higher weight people than your normal 120lbs runner.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Mizuno Men's Wave Inspire 8 Running Shoe
Coming from the ASICS GT-2XXX series which I've worn for the last 10 years. Supposedly they changed the design for the 2170 and 2000 models and a lot of higher mileage runners are complaining re: injury. I found the transition to this shoe fairly seamless. I didn't like it for the first 4 miles, but as I got used to it/broke it in, it started feeling really good. The ride is firmer than the ASICS, but not severely so. So far so good, after 60 miles in them, I ordered another pair for the future.Review of Vasque Men's Velocity 2.0 GTX Trail Running Shoe

I read a recommendation for this shoe in a backpacking magazine from some hiking guru that put down some serious disatnce. I run/hike 10km per day on mixed rock, dirt and sand conditions and you MUST liten to what happened! All these Gore-Tex shoess are built with a sealed Gore-Tex bootie on the inside, but for some reason Vasque decided to install an open mesh outer layer that is not attached to the Gore-Tex bootie; they are two seprate and independent layers. Sooooo! The fine rock, dirt ans SAND particles filter though the mesh layer and are TRAPPED between the two layers and collect and the side of the shoe where the faux leather is attached. After 3 days in the desert sun, my FEET began to red...and i developed a few crippling blisters due to the bulging collection of terra forma IN MY SHOE. The shoe is now reduced and the shoes are UN-WEARABLE and a safety threat. They are NOT trail running shoes and never walk in the sand because you will carry home 5 pounds of sand TRAPPED in between the mesh layer and Gore-Tex layer. Bizzare bad engineering from a good company?????

I have a pair of Adidas Terrex XCR Goretex/Leather shoes that I love. Sadly, I wore the soles off the bottom of them well to the point they were failing me on the trail. I was looking for a shoe with similar qualities (low cut but stable, waterproof, sure footed and not too heavy). The Terrex Fast R hits these categories though not as competently without modification. Namely, I found the drawstring laces too finicky and I never felt really secure no matter how hard I tugged on those pesky things. These shoes aren't cheap so it's not lightly that I decided to cut these things out, but I was quite happy with the other shoe characteristics, so I gave it a go. Simple enough, I cut the drawstrings and replaced them with nylon athletic laces. That made a big difference to the feel of the shoe adding stability and having an all-around better fit to my foot which is slightly narrow.
Overall, very pleased with the shoes. They have served me well on both intermediate local hikes and longer ones like Old Rag Mountain. If these shoes last as long as my last pair (5 years or so of moderate to difficult day hikes), the price will be worth it.
Pros:
Looks
Low-cut but stable
Waterproof, but breathable
Comfortable in cool to warm weather
Excellent traction truly spectacular while rock scrambling
Mid-weight
Sizing was accurate
Cons:
Drawstrings were finicky
Fit was not best with drawstrings
Initial Cost

As a minimalist marathoner who keeps switching between Five Fingers, Hattori (most < 14mi runs) and Kinvara (on long runs and very high volume weeks) my first reaction to the Virrata was "Hallelujah!" and I immediately bought a pair.
After a week of running in them I can't say they're a clear winner however, I feel the sole is too thick (i.e. soft) and would have preferred a ground feel that's more similar to the firmer feeling grid type A5 (which has a 12-16mm sole compared to 18mm end-to-end on Virrata). I also don't like the goofy (thump-y, a bit like gymnastic shoes) sound the soles makes on hard even surfaces, which Hattori owners will recognize. Durability of the upper mesh has been the biggest issue I've had with Kinvaras, not sure if the Virrata's 2-mesh design will be any better. It does feel more breathable and airy than the Kinvara's and certainly the Hattori's.
The difference between 4mm (Kinvara) and 0mm (Virrata) heel-to-toe drop is immediately noticeable feeling more natural, but I could also feel my calves getting tired at the end of a 21mi long run. Not sure what I prefer for those type of runs yet.
In short I think it's great to see Saucony continue to release minimalistic shoes in general and fill the gap between Hattori and Kinvara specifically, but the Virrata is too soft and cushiony for me. I would have preferred a beefed up version of the Hattori. Considering the commercial success of similar shoes to the Virrata (like Newton's MV2), I'm sure many others will prefer the softer ride for long runs.
EDIT June 2013: I retired a pair of these after about 500mi. Like Kinvaras I owned before, the EVA sole under the balls of my feet gradually starts to compress which gradually caused the middle of the sole to push into my arch and irritate.
I raced my spring marathon (Rotterdam) in Saucony Grid type A5s, still my favorite street racers (excellent grip, response and breathability).
Toes pierced one layer of mesh but the upper mesh is still intact.
Won't be buying a new pair.
The only other shoes I can compare it to with minimalist is Merrell Road Glove and Bare Access.
Instead of returning to my Kinvaras I think I'll migrate completely to the Virratas. The only slight negative in the Virratas is that the deeper tread picks up a lot more small rocks when running on dirt trails but that is to be expected and I wouldn't want the tread redesigned for that reason.
If, like me, you like your Kinvaras I think you will love the Virratas.
Very affordable price. Highly recommended!

I have been through 5 pairs of Saucony Kinvaras, and eagerly awaited this shoe as one with more forefoot cushion but zero drop. That's a perfect combination for neutral runners I can't believe this is the first shoe to include that combination. I was definitely not let down. I train heavily for triathlons and religiously monitor my heart rate and pace. These shoes are the first shoes I've ever worn that actually make me run faster over long distances. I'm not sure if it's the low heel profile that helps keep turnover high, the light weight, or both. Either way I typically 20 seconds per mile or 10 BPM lower in this shoe than in any of my traditional (non-zero drop) shoes. Unlike Vibram Five Fingers, you can run 15mi in these on pavement and not feel beaten up. Fantastic shoes!Best Deals on Saucony Men's Virrata Running Shoe
If you love zero drop but always wanted some cushion and not feel the road so much, this is the perfect shoe. Very confortable and breathable. Toe box could have been wider and I had to order a size 1/2 bigger than my usual Merrell (sp?). The other review is probably more spot on if you want to feel the road as a minimalist but if you are a zero drop person, you will love this shoe. The only other shoes I can compare it to with minimalist is Merrell Road Glove and Bare Access.
Honest reviews on Saucony Men's Virrata Running Shoe
I've been running in Saucony Kinvaras for two years and have been very happy with them. However I decided to try out a pair of Virratas for road half marathons because of the extra padding. I was not expecting to like the Virratas so much. While the shoe is super light, I experienced no foot or leg discomfort in making the switch and my training pace became faster, although this could be for any number of reasons.Instead of returning to my Kinvaras I think I'll migrate completely to the Virratas. These shoes are quite effective for the short amount of time they hold together. I went through two pair (basic everyday walking). Each pair last about 3 months before the bottoms literally came apart.
Before falling apart, they did show dramatic impact on calf/thigh musculature; however, I expect much more than 3 months out of a pair of shoes.
Lets talk color, the Composition Notebook style on the side of the sole threw me way back to the old elementary days of misspelling too many words to count. Love the color scheme on these. You will definitely turn heads!
My name is Sean...and I have Sweaty Feet. Wow, I feel much better. These shoes breath. Not to say that you will not be warm, there is still great support all around the foot, but my worries of odor shame are not present.
There are two wonderful (at first intimidating) Devo hats on the sole. They make you feel like you could jump over the 1995-96 Bulls team (maybe not Luc Longley). The shoes are fairly light; I say fairly because of those new AdiZeros that apparently defy gravity.
I was initially worried about possibly twisting my ankle, but those worries were extinguished when I put on the shoes for the first time. You can use these for most active sports, I love them for running and basketball.

I bought these sneakers on an impulse buy (as I usually do) and I must say that I make pretty good impulse buy decisions. These shoes are not only affordable (I swear everything at foot locker is at least $100 these days) but also comfortable and stylish which is very important to me. These shoes have energy ball technology in the sole which I find puts a little extra bounce in my step. I can stand up for hours with these and not hurt my feet which is rare for me. Plus I am a big sucker for anything blue and they were not kidding when they said these shoes were awesome blue lol Highly recommendReviews of Crocs Crocband Lego Backstrap Clog (Toddler/Little Kid)

I bougth this nice Crocs for my 4 y-old, thinking on Crocs ergonomic policy, but my son just got two big blisters from the hard coming out attached button. Nice color, shape and theme, and not cheap but he couldn't used again.

My crocs and Lego loving sons couldn't wear these as they run on the narrow side compared to the other twenty-something pairs of crocs they've worn. Both of my sons had blisters the first time. Cute, but not the usual width of crocs!
