ive always wanted a pair of tims but they are soooo expensive, i chose the boys size because they are usually much cheaper and i have pretty small feet and can usually wear boys sizes. i bought the 5.5W and i normally wear a women's size 7.5 and they fit great! they are a bit wide (but most boys shoes are) and a bit too big but fit perfectly with ticker socks

Mizuno Men's Wave Musha 5 Running Shoe Review

I've had the Musha 3, 4 and now the 5. The 5 is the lightest. That however doesn't necessarily mean its the best.

I thought the 3 was ok as a daily trainer. I got it mostly to have a lower Heal-To-Toe ratio that Mizuno's standard 12mm offset.

When the 4 came out I immediately got them and wow! The 4 is a really nice shoe.

The upper is just fantastic, it is like a spike since it has that "dancing pump" shape in the forefoot.

Now the 5, has moved from the dancing pump feel to more of a slipper, similar in construction to the Ronin, which I also have.

It is a little bit tighter in fit than the 4 or 3, but it is true to size.

Over all this is a really nice shoe but would I buy it over the Musha 4, no. But that is just me. If I could give it 4.5 stars I would.

Cheap Brooks Men's Defyance 6 Running Shoes

I have been running in Defyance shoes since the Defyance 2 came out. I have owned several pairs of each shoe. The 4s without a doubt are my favorites and I was a bit disappointed when the 5s came out as Brooks tweaked something up top and I had a pain issue around the top of my foot. However with the introduction of the 6 it seems that Brooks has resolved the issue. I was able to run two 3.5 mile sessions and then ran the Georgia Marathon this past weekend. The shoes performed way better than I anticipated with so little break in. I recommend Defyance 6s to any neutral runner wanting an awesome shoe.

This was by far my favorite running shoe ever. They almost propel you forward. Unfortunately with the release of model 6 Brooks only makes a D width, making it an impossible fit for me and other runners who loved the Defyance. I switched to a Ghost instead, which despite the strong reviews in Runners World, does not do it for me. So now I am looking around at other brands.

I have used this line of shoe for many years. Version six is lighter and has a better design than the earlier versions. No noticeable wear after four weeks and double digit miles on them. I am a heavy build that uses orthotics inside the shoe. There was no noticeable slipping on grass and obstacle type course. The breathable mesh does allow very fine dirt through but you won't any shoe that doesn't. I recommend this shoe if you are a neutral runner. The price is high considering that Brooks products rarely last five months with me.

I have been running in Brooks Adrenaline series for the past 3 years. I bought these because I was told I am a "neutral" runner and that the adrenaline's have too much arch support for my feet. After running 2 miles one day, 4.5 miles another day, the next day my left foot was killing me! It was a sharp pain that originated in the outer-bottom and side of my left foot every time I took a step! It hurt like crazy and so I went to a doctor and supposedly I have "Cuboid Syndrome" (google it if you want details). Needless to say, these shoes have caused me a lot of pain and I returned them. Everybody's feet are different, but I am sharing my experience in case there are others who could benefit from them and stay away from this shoe if you are already comfortable in another shoe. I should have listened to the old saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

This is my third pair of similar Adidas wrestling shoes, which I use solely for boxing. I love these shoes. The only gripe I have is that the string on the zipper (that helps you pull it shut) is too short. It's often difficult to shut the zipper because these fit like a glove (a good thing); if they only made the lever a little longer it would make these shoes much easier to use. There are easy solutions for this (e.g. adding a string or tie to the zipper to make it longer).

Also, these shoes don't get dirty easily, which is a major plus when you're using them in training environments that are not necessarily the cleanest.

Bought my first pair in 2006. Just now getting a new pair. Very comfortable from day one. This shoe saved my vacation in 2006 when we were at Disney World. Had bought new shoes for the trip and the first day my feet were killing me. We went to Downtown Disney,and bought my first pair of Nike Pegasus. It was like walking on a cloud. I am an avid runner and triathlete and have been running exclusively on nike air pegasus, wide for several years. My brother purchased these in my usual size and wide width for a birthday present and sent them to me. Worst present ever, although he tried hard and is a great guy. The new "air pegasus" has a completely different shape, heal, upper, and the wide is super super narrow. putting my old pairs next to the new pair of the same size looks like a wide adult shoe next to a narrow child's shoe. Ok, maybe not quite that bad but the difference in width is striking if you take a picture, and squishing my foot in what used to be a wonderful roomy comfy shoe is strikingly disappointing. This used to be my very favorite running shoe and now is not a shoe I can run in at all. I could walk, but it would hurt my foot. In all fairness this might be a great shoe for someone with a different size foot, although the materials look a bit cheeper and feel less comfy to me. On the upside if you could get your foot in it will likely be lighter because its so much smaller. Unless I received a fake shoe or a factory defect and I doubt it because it looks like the picture, nike has really really made a big mistake with what used to be one of their only solid shoes for people with wide feet. Bottom line: this is not an Air Pegasus. Its a new shoe with a different size, shape, material, and fit. It might be ok, possibly even good but not great like the real air pegasus which seems to have been discontinued.

I use these to run on pavement and do crossfit on mats. The bottom is falling apart. The bottom is all small sections glued together and one day those sections just started to fall off.

Between this and the squeaky Air Monarch issue I am starting to think that Nike will be soon knocked off its pedestal and New Balance will take its place.

These shoes fit well and were comfortable. They look good but we were surprised that some of the leather trim was in a patent leather finish. This was unexpected and my husband really would have preferred it plain black but he kept them anyway and uses them for everyday wear.

Besides the less than expected impact absorbency, I even decided to throw out the inner sole and replaced it with a gel sole to make the shoe a more comfortable for normal use.

For me, running is out of the question in these shoes.

I took quite a while to select these based on its appearance and the reviews on-line at Amazon; however there was no way for me to have known that the shoe would have been so inadequate for absorbing the impact of running.

I now use it only for normal walking; much like I would with a slipper.

While we loved the look of these shoes, they simply do not last! I received this purchase in early May and it is now late July and already I need to search for a new pair of shoes for my 4 year-old. There are worn holes on the bottom of both shoes and a rip in the seams on the top of one shoe by his toes. I am appalled that Skechers would make shoes this flimsy. I wish I could get my money back! I would give it 0 stars if it was possible. DO NOT buy these shoes if you want shoes that will last.

I purchased the Skechers Ragged Motley shoes for my son and the sole started coming off the shoe in under 60 days.

I emailed Skechers to see what could be done but after 10 days I had received no reply back. I emailed one more time and did get a reply. The customer service rep said that I could ship the shoes back to be analyzed / looked at or I could bring them into one of their stores. I elected to go to one of the stores and the representative there kindly refunded me for the shoes because it was clearly a manufactures defect and they no longer carry this model shoe. I was very happy with the way they handled this but I was also told that I should expect kids shoes to typically wear out in 2-3 months. In reading other reviews I can see that this is Skechers stance on the wear and tear of kids shoes.

Side Notes: I wrote a review of the shoes on the Skechers web site but the review didn't show up

I also bought a pair of Skethers for myself recently and the soles are wearing very quickly. I wear dress shoes at work so only periodically where the Skechers and it seems like I have only worn them 10 or 15 times. It seams as though their shoes are wearing out faster than they used to. I'm hoping that they can find out was the cause of this is so I can continue to by Skechers.

This is a neutral running shoe with a wide toe box that allows plenty of room for a bunion! I buy it one size larger so my orthotics will fit. It was recommended by my podiatrist. Every time New Balance comes out with a new model of this style of shoe, I get fitted at a store with my first pair to make sure they fit (they tend to change the width or length when they 'upgrade' the model number), then I go online to get my next pair cheaper. I change my shoes every 500 miles about every 4 to 5 months, and have been using this style of New Balance for many years now.

I am a runner and have two damaged nerves in my left foot. Not a good combination. These shoes, with my orthotics, are the most comfortable ever! New Balance hit it out of the park on this shoe. I already have more than 150 miles on them and they are just getting to the right place. Great price on a great shoe. Promise.

The only thing that I wish was a little different is they make my size 8.5 feet look bigger than other shoes I have worn. But comfort totally makes up for that.

I have a very wide foot with arthritis. This shoe more than accommodates my issues. I wear a 7.5 wide, and ordered the 7.5 2E. It's roomy, comfortable, and has the mesh toe that keeps me cool in the warm weather. The cushioning inside is very good. I wear them all the time, even though I don't run. I walk over 50 miles per week and bike as well. Because finding a comfortable shoe to fit is hard, I wear these sneakers everyday. I wear them out in 3-5 months of hard wear. I recommend this shoe to anyone looking for a wide shoe for walking or running.

The shoe did run a tad small. By that I mean my big toe tips the front but not to the point of being uncomfortable. No blisters from this. I normally order a 7 in tennis shoes which is a half size bigger than my dress shoes. So I ordered a 7. I'm certain a 7.5 would have been to big. These are cross trainers which I was specifically looking for shoe that had inner support, ankle support, but that was light, airy, flexiable & could handle, the body combat classes, or insanity & plyo workouts. I have not used these for running. They handle combat & plyo daily & so far no discomfort !!! NO knee pain like when the prior cross trainer I had tried!

The Zigquick Fire by Reebok is a very light and comfortable shoe. I work on concrete floors for 8 hours a day and these shoes make my feet hurt less at the end of the day. I love the bright colors and have received numerous compliments on how they look. All around good shoe.

The only thing that I have a complaint about is that the Zigquick Fire is billed as a Cross Training shoe on this listing but it is not, rather, it is a running shoe and says so on the Reebok shoe box. I feel this is a bit of a misrepresentation so beware. If you are looking for a Cross Training shoe this is not one but if you are looking for a light weight shoe that makes your feet feel a bit better after being on them for long hours then this shoe is perfect.
