I purchased these for my 15-year-old son for Christmas. The biggest size they had was a 13 and, although he wears a 14 normally, I bought them hoping they might run large. They fit him and he says they are ultra comfortable. They are made very well also. Great product.

This is a great shoe, but doesn't have much of a life. It's amazingly comfortable, but after only a few times wearing them, the lacing along the top began to unravel. The only way to stop the entire top of the shoe from coming apart, was to tie a knot in the lacing, and hope for the best. This is disappointing, because the shoe is so easy on your feet. They are a great casual shoe, and they're good looking; but be aware that as good as they look when you get them, they won't last long. Don't be taken in by the fact that they are made by DC; it just shows that not all their shoes are manufactured with the same high quality as say, their board shoes. All in all, a good shoe; but not one to plan on having for very long. I'm not sure they're worth the price for the life span you get out of them. Buyer Beware!!!

I work out everyday. My workouts include the treadmill, stairclimber, spin bikes, and weights. I also do triathlons. These shoes accomodate all of that. I am on my third pair of Adidas Supernova Glides. These shoes are comfortable from day one to the day you buy a new pair. They have a little bit higher heal that pushes you forward when you run. The toebox is wide enough so that your toes aren't crunched and I love the extra reinforced big toe (my big toe tends to rip through the mesh, but I have never had that problem with these.) I don't have very high arches and the arch support in these is perfect. I have worn nike shoes before and am in pain because the arches are too high. These are perfect if you have a lower arch. When you go into the shoe store to buy a new pair of running shoes try these on then try on a different pair of running shoes. You will be able to feel the difference. I absolutely love these shoes and I am getting ready to buy my fourth pair.

I had worn these sneakers for about a week, and one day when I went to tie them the lace ripped right through the eyelet. I ended up going to Foot Locker, because I thought I could just exchange it there, apparently this was last years style. I paid more than what I should have. Foot Locker was gracious though, it was in their system, so they allowed me to get the newer model as an exchange.

I have a pair with the same product number-I wear these at work-cabinetry and trim work so they see a lot of use/abuse.

The last ones I had (which are on my feet now, nearly 10mo later) just lasted and lasted. My shoes normally go flat on the inside. These shoes hurt my feet after just a couple of weeks. These just are NOT the same.

Combine that with slow shipping and the fact that I saved 50.00 off the original pair doesn't seem so great.

The shoes are really attractive, but not great for running. I would have only given them 3 stars if they didn't look so good. I would have sent them back but then I realized they do slip on and off easily so they are perfect for wearing to the gym for yoga or Pilates where you are going to take your shoes off anyway. They are also quite comfortable for brisk walking, but if you are only interested in a running shoethese are probably not for you.

I've been wearing Asics running shoes now for more years than I care to remember. Most of the time, they feel great right out of the box. Through the years, Asics has tried to make certain models better and not done a great job (Kayano comes to mind but it's back to being a great shoe but overall I've been more than pleased with my shoes.

I needed a couple of new pair of running shoes and actually picked up 3 pair at the time. One of the models that I picked up was the Asics Gel-Phoenix. I had never run in a pair of Phoenix before, but I decided to give them a try. (The sales person told me that they were good for my foot type.) And, besides, they were a pretty slime green color! J When I tried them on, they felt wonderful! Even better than my usual model (2100 and 1100 series). Another reason to take them home.

Yesterday I did something that I've never done before. Even though you can usually put on a pair of Asics running shoes and they feel like an old friend, I still broke in a pair by doing several shorter runs in them before I headed out for a longer run. Yesterday I had an 8-miler scheduled and knew that the 2 pair of shoes that I'd been running were nearing their retirement mileage. So, I decided to wear my new pair of Gel-Phoenix.

And, I'm really glad that I did. They felt great and my run went super. I was a little scared heading out about a new pair of shoes for a longer run but this pair handled it beautifully. The cushioning and support were terrific! I couldn't believe how great my feet felt after the run in brand new shoes!

My foot has normal arches and I'm a midfoot striker and these shoes are wonderful! I highly recommend this shoe for anyone looking for a stable shoe with some cushioning. In my opinion, you can buy Asics shoes that cost more than the Gel-Phoenix, but give these a try.

I've been wearing ASICS Gel-Phoenix running shoes for years. I've got a wide front foot (with bunions) and a narrow heel, and the medium width fits perfectly. The arch support is substantial but not too high. The shoe I bought is half the price of the more expensive ASICS brands, so it's a great buy for me. I never seem to see the Phoenix in stores, so was happy to find it on Amazon. I mostly walk very fast on a treadmill 6-7 days a week, and these babies hold up for years. I usually wear the sole out first.

Best Inov-8 F-lite 262 Shoe Deals

I tried on the 240 at a local store and it was way too narrow so I decided to buy the 262 since it has a wider footbed. The width does fit much better, but based on the length of the 195 and 240, I ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear in an athletic shoe. Unfortunately, the 262 is much truer to size and as a result, I don't have much "wiggle" room in the length. Other than the length issue, the shoe performs great and I've already noticed that my form on lifts is much better with the flatter stance (compared to my Asics running shoes) and the shoe's light weight is extremely beneficial as well. Also, the 262 has plenty of cushion for my runs on our box's packed dirt and gravel track, and it gives me the protection I was looking for when running over small rocks and ruts.

As a long time user of F-Lite 230's and a person with a very wide foot I was looking forward to the new "anatomic" shape on the F-Lite 262. This shoe was marketed as the wider version of the 230, so I was essentially expecting the perfect shoe (for me of course, everyone is different). Overall this shoe felt solid and it had potential to be really great, but it seems that when they made the anatomic fit they also shrank the length of the shoe. The wider "anatomic" fit was much wider than the 230 fit, and it felt fantastic width wise, but the shoe was much too short to fit my foot. Some times I can get away with that in a workout shoe, but because this Inov-8 is designed to take a beating it has a more ridged outer shell than some of their other shoes and it did not allow for any play. For people looking to buy this shoe I would definitely not shy away from it. I am starting to think that my foot has grown larger than a 13 and I just seem to get lucky finding shoes that are built larger than their sizing.

I've been a long-time Puma fan (don't ever buy their headphones), and these shoes are as expected, and I got them at a good price. I walk far to reach work everyday, taking PT...also my job requires me to stand and walk a lot, so I needed a good shoe to walk in. I know Pumas run small, so BEWARE, and I recommend ordering a size-up, but if you get your size it's gonna be a bit tight, and if you go a size-up, it's going to be a bit loose...so you kinda can't totally win w/Puma shoes IMO, nevertheless, I love them, and I've rcvd several compliments on these (I got the purple and pink). These have been comfortable and helpful for my daily commute, and trying to maintain foot and posture health (esp after a recent lower-back injury)... Happy shopping!

I absolutely loved the Triumph 9. Trained for and ran my first marathon in this shoe and had absolutely zero issues. When I saw that the Triumph 10 had a re-designed upper, My first thoughts were not pleasant. I immediately went on line and purchased several pairs of the Triumph 9 at roughly 1/2 price just to make sure I had a supply for a while. One day a friend of mine showed up at our weekly group run and he had on a pair of the 10's. I asked him what he thought of them compared to the 9. He praised the shoe as being the best thing since sliced bread. A few weeks later, I was in our local running store and decided to lace up a pair of 10's. They felt different for sure, definitely in the heel. The height of the shoe felt lower in the heel also. I was skeptical, but I shelled out the $$ and decided to give them a whirl anyway. After the first run I was not sure about them, but after the 3rd run I was hooked. After about a month, I put on a pair of the 9's and went for a run, and did not like the way they felt at all. Af far as I concerned, the Triumph 10 is the best shoe on the market for runners that require a stable platform with good arch support..

This is the best version of the Triumph I have ever run in. I have ran in the Triumph since version 5. The 10 exceeds all other models in comfort and stability, as well as colors and style.

One word of caution though...if you are a perfuse sweater, and you are accustomed to your shoes getting soaked on hot days, the insole begins to slide around inside the shoe. It only happens to me on runs that are in the mid-80s exceeding 6 miles. Now that the temps are cooler I have not had any issue whatsoever. I recently purchased my second pair.
