I bought these for my son for track and he really loves them. First the color is amazing and matched his school colors great. They also came with top quality cleat spikes that are easily removable with the tool that was provided. Second they fit perfect and have the great "second skin" fit that you really want in a track shoe. Great brand, will definitely order this product or similar in the future.

Ive had these shoes for awhile. They are comfortable and great shoes all around. Don't get my 4 star rating wrong i love these shoes but i have to rate them accordingly.

1) The soles wear extremely fast.

2) While they are netted and vented nicely they do not promote very good air circulation.

3) Reebok was sloppy with the glue, but what non-sewed shoe isnt now days.

Would I buy another pair?

I bought a pair previously 4 months ago, and have discovered they are the only shoes I don't need another inside pad for support and cushioning. Leather that shines easily outside, good laces that look good, and sole that was made for walking and standing (normally, I can't stand for over a few minutes-but can in these.

So, I wanted a couple more pair and ordered them. UPS delivered them somewhere else, but customer service steered them and reported to me whereabouts. I'm delighted and am wearing one of the two, and saving the second new pair for "later." I try not to wear the same pair of shoes 2x in a row and have other shoes.

Being involved with our community, I attend many functions and am comfortable wearing these "tennis shoes" that look OK (not with a suit & jacket although as they are still "tennis shoes." Great work shoe and comfortable. I always use a shoe horn to put on all my shoes so the back doesn't get messed up.

I've been wearing New Balance shoes for years as they are one of the only brands I've found to consistently fit my feet. I ordered a 10.5 4E (extra wide). They fit a little bit more snug than my old 473 model, but I'm sure that will change with time. These shoes have nice support and are great for all around walking, either in the city or for a day hike. Recommended!

UPDATE: it took about a week or two for these to fully break in, but now they are super comfortable. The durability of the shoe has held up well overall, especially on the outside, but it does show noticeable wear on the inside. For the price, though, absolutely no complaints here!

I had the awesome experience of running a marathon a few years back with Scott Jurek, the ultrarunning legend, as the pacer of the group. I'd already read "Born to Run" (which didn't phase me)and had a pretty high mileage marathon ramp up so having such a neat (and extremely nice) ultrarunner to chit chat with for 26.2 miles put me over the edge and made me want to try out trail ultras. Only...I didn't know any trail ultrarunners. I did have a bit of experience ordering running shoes online so I picked a pair that looked like what I needed and that weren't to pricey. A month and a half later, in my Masochists, I ran my first 50 mile on a course that was extremely technical in spots, with straight up hikes and thigh high water crossings. Though I may not have been as prepared as I thought I was, I finished in a great time and with blister-free feet. This was though I didn't even change socks, much less shoes, during the race. The area of my arch just behind the ball of my feet was extremely sore, though, which I thought was the shoes' fault.

So, ramping up for my next race, a 100 miler no less, I bought a pair of Salomons that were more supportive. I took them out on a 30 mile training run and vowed to never wear them again. I realized then that the Masochists excel in draining water. The Salomons I was wearing retained so much water, it was unreal. So I bought another pair of Masochists and ran my 100. My feet were still extremely sore but again, I think it was more of my relative lack of preparation.

A year later...I tried the Brooks Cascadia 6 since it was being closed out. While extremely cushy, the toebox (when ordering my normal size) was too narrow and I ended up losing a toenail after my first run in them. Back to the Masochists as I ran my 2nd 100. I'd also put much more mileage in this time, and afterward I did not have near the soreness in my feet I'd had at previous ultras. I WOULD caution though, if you are a mid to forefoot striker (as I am), you may really start to feel the pounding toward the late miles of a 100 mile race. But at that point, everything hurts anyway, so your feet are just one more addition to a chorus of pain, lol.

But I have simply not found anything better. To sum it up:very fast draining, cushy but flexable (while still providing stability for overpronators). They also have a very grippy outsole that's worked well for me in rocks and mud. I have 3 pairs but only race in one of them right now. I've got about 400 miles of trail ultras on them and once washed off, they look and feel brand new.

I just got these: every other pair of shoes I own is size 7.5 and these came 7.5 and feel very small: too narrow and too confining across my great toe and the top of my feet.

I have tried three different models and have been more than satisfied with each, however, the Mountain Masochists are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They are stable, have a roomy toe area, and have never caused me the least bit of discomfort while running or even climbing Pikes Peak.

I have always had problems finding shoes to fit my wide foot. I have had New Balance shoes for the last two years now because they always carried wide shoes in my size 10, but they weren't comfortable. I had shin-splints after walking and/or running, blisters, and sometimes even backaches after exercising. From the moment I put on these shoes, they were comfortable! They are a little wider than I need, but I've never been able to wear a thicker sock with the New Balance, so this works out for me. I have now been wearing these shoes for two weeks and have no shin-splints, backaches, blisters, or other shoe-related issues that I had before. In fact, I ordered a second pair in a different color that I will be reviewing, too.

I really like these shoes but notice that I probable could have gone a half size smaller for a perfect fit. I almost always wear a size 9 in any type of shoe so it surprised me that they were a bit large but it isn't bad enough to return. The shoes are well made and have good arch support.

Great, and supportive at first but about 3 uses later, I began to have pains on the outer part of my feet. The pain then starts to build up towards the leg next to the cabs region. After five minutes of jogging, I begin to have these pains, in seven minutes, it's severe to the point i have to stop and rub my feet. I feel these would be somewhat better for climbing rather than running. As stylish these shoes may look, it is not recommend for what it suppose to help to do, running. Avoid Jordan running shoes.

Salomon Men's Blackcomb Shoe Reviews

I've bought lots of Salomon shoes over the years and currently have 5 pairs. These shoes are atypical of Salomon fit and quality. My feet are 12 (left) and 12.5 (right) so I expected a 13 would be ok. Length wise it is but the uppers are excessively tight. I'm still trying to decide if I need to send them back. If they stretch a bit then I would say no, but as is they are not comfortable.

They also seemed to have decreased their quality standards quite a bit. I'm used to a great quality product from Salomon but these seem more like $30 to $40 knock-off shoes from a no-name factory yet they have a $100 Salomon price tag.

I tried to put this shoe on my son and could not even get the velcro straps to come down because there is not enough room in it to fit the top of the foot. My boss bought these shoes for me in Hong Kong and upon wearing them I loved the feel! They were extremely comfortable and easy on my ankles. BUT within the first 3 hours of wearing them at my local supermarket I leaned to one side and the air bubble popped! I didn't worry for the first few months but recently when running, exercising and even walking I felt my heel touching the ground and it made an extremely unpleasent noise as the air continued to escape. If these shoes don't pop I reccommend them, but once they pop they aren't useful at all.

To those saying these are a cheap substitute for real Australian uggs, DO YOUR RESEARCH! These are one of the ONLY ugg boots available on the US market that are made with 100% Australian sheepskin, unlike others that claim to be Australian (even including it in their brand name) but are really an American owned company who get their boots made in China and don't use 100% Australian wool products, the only use a small percentage and substitute the rest with inferior blends.

These boots are not meant to be washed and the will be very snug when you first put them on as the wool takes a few days to mold around our foot. If you are planning on wearing these outside you should waterproof them. Ugg boots were originally designed to be like a slipper, you wont get many self-respecting Australians wearing them outside unless they don't care what they look like, the name "Ugg" comes from UGLY!

As an Australian, these are the only ugg boots I would buy outside of Australia and I wouldn't be caught dead in those inferior substitutes that call themselves Australian but cost twice the price.

The sizing info on this boot is very confusing and I was at a loss as to what to do. What I found is that if you are a half size, you should order down in size. I am a 7.5 and ordered a size 8 which was a great IMMEDIATE fit. However, this boot is going to stretch ALOT so eventually my size 8 became too big I have remedied that with thick socks (but they are still a little large). Then recently I ordered a size 7 in this boot and found that they initially fit snug but very soon after, stretch out to accommodate my foot very well.

I own both EMUs and UGGS and it is in my estimation that EMUs are superior to UGGs. I love this boot it is thicker and warmer and the support in the sole is so comfortable. They are also less slippery in snow than UGGs and the pricing is perfect. I will wear these forever!

I wear an 8 1/2 in shoes and usually a 9 in boots. After reading numerous reviews I was very confused if I should order up or down in size. I finally ordered a size 8. When my boots arrived I was very pleased with the appearance and after trying them on I was concerned because my toe was right at the end of the boot and it was an extremely tight fit but loose at my heel. I almost returned them but am so thankful I didnt because after about 2 weeks of wear they fit PERFECTLY!!! A size 9 would have been to big. I wear them with and without socks. Take my advice and order down not up in size.

These are beautiful boots, thick wool lining and well made, but I had to send them back twice! I'm a size 8 so I ordered a size 8. They were very big and my foot flipped out of the heel easily. So I figured a 7 would do the trick but they were a bit cramped and still my heel slipped out. After further research I found a few stories of people complaining of the same thing....their heels would slip out with each step, it seems they have narrow feet! The problem seems to be in the width of the boot at the ankle. If I stuff the space in front of my ankle with some crushed paper...the heel stays in place! So a boot with a more narrow enclosure around the ankle is what I am now looking for. I just ordered some Minnetonka pugs and some Koolaburra sheepskin boots to see if they fit better, wish me luck.

I had been wanting a pair of Ugg boots for 2 years, but the price was just out of reach for me.

I saw these EMU boots on sale on Amazon, and they had chocolate, which is what I wanted, for a very affordable price.

I took the chance and ordered them...I couldn't be happier! They are exactly like the more expensive Ugg brand. and actually fot me better.

I wear a 9 1/2 narrow in shoes, so I orderd the 9. They fit comfortably, which really surprised me since my foot is narrow!! In Uggs, my foot moves around a bit which made it a bit difficult to walk, but these are a much better fit.

The sheepskin is so soft and the inside has thick shearling to nestle your foot into.

We've not had cold weather yet so I haven't worn them...but I'm sure they will be very warm.

I would definitely recommend EMU boots to anyone who is looking for a shearling/sheepskin boot.

I'll be ordering another pair in the Tall style.
