I think the LA Runners are Adidas' best model. They are lightweight, breathable, and have great traction. These also have a Blown Rubber Sole. Blown Rubber is made by injecting air into a molten rubber compound. The air bubbles make the rubber lighter in weight and softer, make it useful in construction of lighter, more cushioned and more flexible forefoot. I train and race in these running shoes.

I ordered up knowing that these run large but I'll just save them for the spring. In the meantime I ordered a smaller size so my toddler can use them this winter with socks (for those impromptu grocery store runs and other quick trips!).
I like to get too....

I have purchased many pairs of Crocs over the years and always get a great shoe. They are absolutely perfect for small children because the kids can put them on by themselves easily. They are comfortable, don't produce blisters, wash up easily and last forever. This particular style is just adorable and it was worth every penny.ASICS Men's GT-2160 Trail Running Shoe Review

took these out to a few local trails which range in difficulty and intensity.. must say it worked splendidly for both sprints and distances..
fit is true to size and is just as comfortable as the gt-2160's itself
definitely recommended
Maybe buy New ballance again? but thay are not as comfortable as ASICS, but long time is warranted!

I've worn 2100 series Asics for some time (approx. 8 years). These are similar to previous models. For anyone wondering, the trail version are virtually identical to the the non-trail version, only a more stylish. The grey is slightly darker than what appears in the picture, which is what I wanted.Best Deals on ASICS Men's GT-2160 Trail Running Shoe
The 2160 trail shoes appear to be more durable than the 2150s. No parts from the rubber sole have fallen off. Unfortunately they seem more cushioned than previous models. This is not an asset on the rocks and roots of New England. Overall the fit is perfect and I'll continue to purchase this line of shoes.Honest reviews on ASICS Men's GT-2160 Trail Running Shoe

I run 15-25 miles and week and I have normal arches and neutral pronation. nd have been wearing saucony forever, but decided to give these bad boys a try and I was very pleased. They are a great shoe all around. I do not have any pain at all running in them now that they are broken in. My only advice is you need to sit down and read the little pamphlet that comes with them and break them in properly, they are a minimalist running shoe and you should not just throw them on and go out and run 6 miles on your first day! No no no you need to break them in slowly and then they will be your favorite shoe. Sadly I can not find them locally any longer and no where on line carries my size 6.5 so I will be returning to my Saucony's and giving their minimalist shoe a try.

For the price these are decent shoes. Good cushion and materials for a trail running shoe. I find very little difference in quality between these shoes and other's I've owned for twice the price. They are a tiny bit heavier than, say, some of the ASICS I've used, but they are also one third the price. I don't think you will go wrong with these shoes because they don't cost and arm and a leg.
Sole are hard no flex, won't get this brand again.

I bought a pair of EL Rey's like 2 years ago and I love them. I wore them literally almost everyday and they lasted 2 years. When I was looking for a new pair of shoes with no hesitation I looked for El Rey's. My first pair were low's and these are mids and both are just sick. I highly recommend any Puma shoe.

I was alittle hesitant putting them on when I felt how light they were, but after putting them on, I love them. I wore them on a 2 week vacation to Alaska and they were extremely comfortable. The deep grooves gripped the ground and gave me really nice traction, even on snow covered sections of trails! If you have wide feet, I would definitely recommend these shoes. Definitely wear thin socks with these shoes because they fit snug.
There is a mesh covering on the inside of the shoe and a hard, aerated penal of rubbery material on the outside there is a double layer of protection against getting small or chunky bits of any natural material, stuck inside your shoe..The color is a bit of a darker forest green, alternating to more vibrant, uplifting, green accents.. All in all they are surprisingly lovely.. Ah yes, perfect for warmer days, they fit very well, a& re extremely comfy to wear..

I have owned these for a few weeks now and love them more every time I lace them up. These are some of the most comfortable running shoes I have ever owned. I still wear these shoes but not as much as I would like because after wearing them for too long the top of my foot starts to hurt. The tongue is attached to the shoe so I guess it is too tight. For walking and hiking I've used exclusively New Balance shoes for many years now, mostly because I need the 2E width. These shoes are great for the kind of trail walking and hiking that I do very comfortable and secure on my foot, plus they grip the ground pretty well on trails where some shoes tend to slip and slide a little. The shoelaces were the only disappointment they have bumps that are supposed to keep them from coming untied while walking, but the bumps don't seem to help at all. I still have to make an extra knot to keep them tied.Buy Zumba Carpet Gliders for Shoes

I have been wearing these shoes for over a year and they are just good as new!
I first tried them on in a shoes shop, and it wasn't as tight as the other tennis shoes. (I have wide feet)
It's firm sole have been holding on for quite a while, and it doesn't leave any scratches on the court nor does it break down or disintegrate like other tennis shoes.
It's down side is that when you move a lot on the court, it makes this screeching sound that is as twice as loud as other shoes. (I think it's because of the firm sole)
I can't comment on this shoe as a tennis shoe, but for my uses, it's great.

I bought these shoes on Amazon as my first on-line shoe buying experience. I had some Nike's that were getting close to retirement and I had started looking at local area stores. No one had anything like I wanted for a price I was willing to spend. As a last resort, I checked on-line. To my surprise, it was easy and painless to narrow down the selection by color, size, price, etc. until I was left with a reasonable selection of options. I would typically spend $30 or $40 for a pair of tennis shoes but lately, all you can get for that price are the mesh construction running shoes. I really prefer the full leather "court" style shoes, but they are getting harder and harder to find. This pair was on sale from $55 to $48 and I also factored in the no sales tax aspect which saved a little more. The shoes came in 2 days (thanks to Amazon Prime), and they fit perfectly. While they are still in the break-in period, they are already one of more comfortable pairs I've owned in a long time.Honest reviews on K-Swiss Men's Grancourt II Tennis Shoe
I am a commercial carpet cleaner and need a sturdy shoe to work in-I choose this shoe because it's white top and bottom (I wont mark up floors or carpet when in people's homes) and that it's 'uber' sturdy. I have ordered this shoe twice before and it outlasts other shoes by far.I can't comment on this shoe as a tennis shoe, but for my uses, it's great.

A little wide for my foot. Amazon's title suggested the shoe was "9, XW, US" In fact it was a "EEE". E and EE fit me perfectly. EEEs are too large by just a little. They will be fine and the shoe is true to size. Just wishing for a more precise listing by Amazon.Buy Puma Trinomic Trail Lo Mens Running sneakers / Shoes - Grey

I've been walking the dirt trails near my house for several years wearing various shoes and boots. Recently I stared Nordic Walking and increased my pace so I thought that I needed a shoe designed for trail walking. I've always liked Puma because they run narrow and I have a B-C width foot. These are narrow, too, but not a true C width. They lace up tightly, have good rocker and flexibility to the sole and good cushioning in the heel. The sole tread pattern grips nicely.
Yes, they are every bit as ugly in person but that seems to be the current trend in athletic shoes

I have been wearing these for a few weeks. I thought that if I could break-them-in they would get better. Overall, they suck.
These shoes are stiff with poor ventilation. It is uncomfortable walking in them. More importantly, the insoles are very poor quality; they make your feet hurt.
These the worst pair of K-Swiss I have purchased in about 10 years. Be careful with online shoes!
But you get what you pay for.
Pro:
Outstanding: Great looking. The RED / SILVER / Black is absolutely nice color combination.
It is comfortable, the tubes in the heel gives a good feeling.
Con:
My size is 9,5 and I own other tennis shoes (Nike, Adidas, Yonex, Reebok) which fit ok, But this K-swiss (my first pair of this brand) are a little big, so I will advice to check the size first in a shoe store. I think my size could be 9,0 in this ones.
I found the sole to be slippery in some wet surfaces, don't trust this tennis shoes in wet surfaces, cereful.
It is oK for the price, but 3 stars because I think the sole must improve.
again as ive said this purchase or shoe does the job

You would think Nike would be better at describing its shoes. 'Cherry' really means 'hot pink'. So I liked the company from which I bought the shoes, just not the product itself. I returned them in exchange for another style because they didn't fit and weren't the right color. But they were shipped to me within a few days and arrived within 2 weeks.

this shoe is very breathable, as others have stated. but this is one of the least important aspects of the shoe, eclipsed by other significant factors.
this shoe is exceedingly durable. here durability is compared to other shoes playing sports that would otherwise rip the stitching out. for example, kendo, tennis and parkour will rip the stitching out of most shoes after a week or so, simply due to the constant and violent acceleration and deceleration. jumping from large distances to angled landings is further stress on shoes that can tear the sole apart or have rubber designs flake off. however, these shoes will stand up to particular abuse if you practice the above sports. keep in mind, sprinting and running for several miles a day is light use in comparison. for basketball, sprinting and hiking these shoes are essentially indestructible.
the rubber is very sticky. this shoe is able to give sketchy landings a margin for error, because of its tight fit and sticky rubber. this allows more adventurous free running and accessibility to more places. in tennis, the stickiness is more predictable for chasing down drop shots and getting to those near winners and forcing your opponent to go for more and making more errors. in kendo, the rubber supports high acceleration, allowing you to keep up in milliseconds to your higher ranked peers who maintain that barefoot is the traditional advantage. furthermore, stickiness is important if tacking is important the stickiness will add a few inches to your max tack height. it will make double or triple tacks confidently. if you're not running at walls, it's also an excellent climbing shoe. not that it replaces a real rock climbing shoe, however, for buildering and other casual climbing this shoe would be difficult to beat, even compared to actual approach shoes. speaking of which, even compared to official approach shoes, this shoe should at least be comparable if not better.
this shoe is light. for those who may need to spend days or weeks in a shoe traveling, this shoe's weight will not become a factor. they will not be the limiting factor on fatigue, especially for hiking. they are light enough that jumping height is not noticeably affected.
unfortunately, these shoes look very nice. they are simple and elegant enough that you can wear them to work or take a girl on a date with them; as such, it is difficult to decide whether to abuse them and do well in sports or to keep them clean and use them for casual wear. it's possible to use them for both, with sufficient will to clean them. however, i personally to not possess such discipline.
another disadvantage is that your feet will become accustomed to breathing, donning normal shoes will feel like airtight containers and make normal shoes nearly unbearable. after using this style for several years, i can no longer wear normal shoes.
My minor complaints would be that the rear adjustment loosened over time and did not hold, however, by design I could simply reach down and tighten again without losing walking or wading stride. Other complaints written by many regarding river/water shoes is that sediment will get in. This is true, and uncomfortable, but the ease of slipping these on and off is a quick fix and the benefits for water to escape greatly outweigh the burden of sand getting in.
I will admit that before buying the latest version of these shoes I purchased a pair of Teva water shoes through Amazon. I have opted to return them to Amazon because the design was not even close to my Salomon's. (New Balance looks to have the closest design.) So, with the Teva's at home ready to be returned I stopped by Eastern Mountain Sports in Conway NH to check out other options. My Salomon's were there!!! I am so happy.
On a side note, the salesrep told me the rear of the shoe is designed to fold in which is suppose to imitate a sandal. I don't know if I'd ever use them that way but thought I would pass that along. On another side note, I purchased these for $72 on site, which makes me lose more faith that Amazon is the best deal.

I also purchased one of the early models of this shoe. I've worn this shoe in Africa, the Middle East, and Germany in wet and super dry conditions and for many hours everyday. This shoe is easily the most durable and comfortable athletic shoe I have ever owned. Bought my first pair in 2005 and they were superbly made. The breathable, rugged, protective, and lightweight design was years ahead of competitors. The 2013 model that I have been wearing for the last month is simpler and less expensively made than the earlier model. The basic design is the same but they probably won't last for 7 years like the last pair. I do not use them as water shoes although they work extremely well for this--they are my regular footwear when I'm not in nice work shoes. I looked at competing shoes but no-one had done as good a job of combining the qualities: Nike puts your heel up on an unstable cushion that is just asking for a rollover ankle sprain. Merrell is not lightweight. Others are not breathable. While competitors are improving, the Tech Amphibians are still the best combination of breathable, rugged, protective, and lightweight.Honest reviews on Salomon Men's Tech Amphib 3 Cross-country Shoe

Here are the facts. I purchased the first model of these over 5 years ago by chance and they were more than I ever expected. I live on a NH river and spend much of my time in it or around it. I can no longer walk barefoot in the river because I have become a 30-something year old wimp. These shoes have allowed me to again enjoy my surroundings. They are light enough to feel like I am not wearing footwear at all but supportive enough to feel I am. Without question I can walk, jump, dive and swim without any discomfort. The adjustment in the heal will allow for a perfect fit and the lacing is quick and convenient. I have probably logged more than 300 hours in my river with these. In fact, the year I bought these shoes I spent everyday of that summer, rain or shine, in my river searching for rocks to build the "cathedral of fireplaces". I would carry rocks that tested the limits of my strength with confidence that the grip on these shoes would not allow for slippage even on algae covered terrain. My minor complaints would be that the rear adjustment loosened over time and did not hold, however, by design I could simply reach down and tighten again without losing walking or wading stride. Other complaints written by many regarding river/water shoes is that sediment will get in. This style is somewhat hard to find anymore. I believe the design is from a few seasons back. After buying two pairs (1st pair sold me on this shoe) of the K-Swiss Tubes from one of the local sport retailers, I went in search of another color and found these online. These are great looking. They compliment any casual outfit , be it shorts or jeans. I'll mainly use them for cross-training------low impact exercising, walking, the elliptical machine, and the stair master. They offer the best support and my feet never feel tired after extended periods of wear. However, these sneakers do not come in a wide version. Lucky for me they're a perfect fit. For those needing the width, you may want to opt out. I would highly recommend these for those who need and can appreciate great arch support.
