This is the first pair of spikes I've purchased specifically for triple jump. I've worn them a few times now and they seem to have pretty good padding in the heel, and the spike plate feels pretty substantial. They're pricey, but I couldn't find anything from a brand as good as ASICS for cheaper. Would recommend.

Cheap Drew Shoes Men's Lightning Athletic Sneaker
As soon as I put this item on I knew that I had made the right selection. They were so comfortable! I also felt a bit taller, which, being height-challenged, was an extra benefit I didn't expect. With my feet being so flat and narrow, I was taking a big chance ordering these sneakers through the mail. I didn't want to pick the wrong size, and have to go through the hassle of returning them (probably at my own expense) for a different size. The width isn't the problem (a B or N), it's the length. I can wear sneakers anywhere from 8.5 to 10, depending on the style. My last pair was a 9, and they are actually a little bit short. I went with the 9.5 this time, and they are perfect. I haven't worn them too much yet, as I try to avoid inclement days while they are new. They are very comfortable all day long, and at $41 with free shipping, they were a great bargain.
These shoes are awesome. I can feel my feet in them in a good way. I've worn them for about three months and no infections. No problems with 'hammertoe', in fact my toes look better.
The toe area is very wide, enough so my toes dont feel squeezed. My toes actually extend in these shoes. Notso with all shoes, some my toes feel crammed in but not these Drews. I'm a big man, 6'8" 390. Peripheral neuropathy and a condition called 'hammertoe' in my feet. I'm also on immune suppressants for another disease I have in addition to diabetes. I can ill afford nail infections.These shoes are awesome. I can feel my feet in them in a good way. I've worn them for about three months and no infections. No problems with 'hammertoe', in fact my toes look better.

New Balance Women's WX1157 NB Groove Cross-Training Shoe Review
Just got these today and they fit great. I have a wide foot and narrow heel so New Balance is always a great shoe for me. I ordered an 8 D (wide) and they fit a little tight for a wide but I would rather have a snug fit for pivoting and plyometrics. No slipping in the heel either. The stability feels great too. A couple of reviewers complained about needing more cushioning. Cross trainers are not supposed to feel squishy/cushy. The whole point of a cross trainer is to have comfort but good side to side mobility. Running shoes have more "cushion" than this shoe but that extra cushion will also make you turn your ankle doing side to side motion.

I was looking for the perfect cross training shoe. These are very comfortable shoes. May run a little on the large side, but thick socks fix that! Excellent support for side to side motion. Love the color!!!

I've been a long-time Puma fan (don't ever buy their headphones), and these shoes are as expected, and I got them at a good price. I walk far to reach work everyday, taking PT...also my job requires me to stand and walk a lot, so I needed a good shoe to walk in. I know Pumas run small, so BEWARE, and I recommend ordering a size-up, but if you get your size it's gonna be a bit tight, and if you go a size-up, it's going to be a bit loose...so you kinda can't totally win w/Puma shoes IMO, nevertheless, I love them, and I've rcvd several compliments on these (I got the purple and pink). These have been comfortable and helpful for my daily commute, and trying to maintain foot and posture health (esp after a recent lower-back injury)... Happy shopping!

Buy adidas Men's Response Cushion 20 M Running Shoe
I ordered these for my boyfriend because he started running and was still using really old shoes. I researched running shoes for men with back pain and this was on the list as well as a few others. These were the best priced and he loves Adidas. He said he instantly felt relief in his feet and he loves the ventilation factor as well. He said that he has not felt too much of the relief in his back yet but he can tell from the affect it has on his feet, that the back relief will soon come. Great shoe, great price, great look.
Anyway, this shoe is quite light and looks good. It has a lot of cushion in under the ball of your foot, but not much arch support. I will probably try and get an arch supporting insole and give it another shot (my arches are a little high). When I run I very quickly develop a pain on the outside edge of the sole of my foot that I haven't had with any other shoes. Like, within the first mile. I'm not sure exactly what causes it but I simply can't use these shoes for running.
Anyway, since I don't like running in this, I use it for walking and everyday use. It's quite comfortable and works well for that purpose.
I'm not saying this shoe is not good, only that it was not good for my foot. Kind of sad, actually, because I like everything about is except the way my feet feel after I run. Unfortunately I could not have told you it wouldn't work for me without actually going for a run. Just trying these on they feel quite comfy.

I bought this shoe because I'm seeking a cushion shoe for running. The last shoe I had that I really liked was an adidas climacool, first generation. It was actually quite different from the current climacools, with a pretty soft cushion and it doesn't try and prevent pronation. If anything I tend to underpronate. These shoes are perfect for my son. They have wonderful support and he says they are so comfortable. Definitely worth the money!!
As great an experience we had with these shoes there are some things to be cautious of: 1) if your child has wide feet or a high arch you're going to want to go a half size bigger than his true foot size. 2) As with all velcro straps they start to break down after the first few washes. We never had the velcro completely fall off-even with my son yanking on them-but they did have trouble sticking after three months and at month six they would randomly come undone while walking through a store.
All to say, my family and I had a great experience with the shoe. My son loved them, received tons of compliments and was sad he had to part with them. We wouldn't hesitate to buy the shoes again!
My advice to other shoppers is to buy 2 sizes up than what your kid normally wears.

I bought these shoes back in December 2012 and waited to do a review until my son was done with the shoe-either through wear and tear or due to shoe size. This time, shockingly, it was due to his feet growing. My son is a very athletic boy and he plays hard in his shoes. Usually a good athletic shoe lasts maybe three months, four months if we're lucky! As you can see this shoe has lasted us for almost a full six months. What I've observed while my son has roared through the house and one too many tennis courts and soccer fields is that these shoes are made of high quality. I LOVE saucony shoes for myself, but this was the first pair of childrens shoes I have bought. They held up better then any other tennis shoes I have bought my daughter and still look good. She has had them for 6+ months and is now just about grown out of them, but they are still fabulous!
Cheap Mens On-Running CloudRacer
I used to run 10 miles a day, 5 days a week when I was in Cross Country and Track 5 yrs ago. You might say I have run some miles and went through many shoes since then. If you get a light shoe, its not going to last as long as the 500 mile average most running shoes enjoy. This is not a training shoe, this is the competition model. It is a very light shoe with great flexibility, and breathability. It has extra stitching on the sides of the mesh where the stress points are, for even moderate over-pronating runners. All of the ON brand shoes were made with joints in mind, and to make concrete easier to run on. Usually, when I had to run on concrete for extended periods of time, my legs would go numb. Now I can run continuously for 10 miles on concrete and not have to worry about how long I can run before my knees go out. The CloudTec "O" rings on the bottom of the shoe take most of the horizontal and vertical impact out of your strides. I use the ON Cloudsurfer to train, but the ON cloud racer makes me fly when it counts. If you want a trainer shoe I recommend any of the other shoe models from the "ON" brand. As I said before, the cloud racer is for Running competitions. They are the best shoes in the world!!!

I bought this shoe and it tore up after one marathon. I bought the show where it was a half size larger but with socks and all it just tore. My feet are little bit wide, like size D so that may have been a factor. I called into customer support for On Shoes and they were super helpful.I got a cloudrunner shoe a full size larger and never looked back. I have ran with these shoes for over 300 mi and they are still going strong. Not as light as Cloudracer but more durable.

Indeed it's light and the forefoot feel is quite similar to the cloudsurfer. Buy New Balance Men's MR840 Running Shoe
I waited until I'd run about 150 miles in these before writing a review. Based on my previous experience with similar shoes, they're about halfway through their life.
But first, some background. I normally wear a size 7.5 or 8 4E in dress or casual shoes, but an 8.5 4E with Asics and New Balance running shoes. I run about 25 miles a week on either blacktop or a dirt field, typically 6-8 miles or more at a go. I am a supinator with a neutral gait and high arches. I suspect that I'm a fairly heavy-footed runner, with impact midfoot. I probably have the widest toe spread, for the length of my foot, of anyone you've ever seen outside of a duck pond. I track approximate mileage on my shoelaces, so I have a pretty good idea when things start to wear out before it happens, because if I don't I end up hurting my knees.
I have run in Asics Gel Cumulus and Nimbus of various iterations, and New Balance MR 882 and 883; in most cases going through several of each model before it became unavailable. With each of them, I've had to switch out the stock insole for a SofSole Athlete, usually within the first 60 miles of running.
On my foot, the 840 fits more like Asics. The 883 was always a bit too long, so it gave me that clown shoe feeling, slap slapping when I ran. The 883s weren't so long that I could downsize to a size 8, though, so I just put up with the feel. The 840s are trimmer, and feel better on my feet, more wrapped around.
That said, toe box volume in the 840 (remember? toe spread like waterfowl, only high as well?) is less than with the 882 or 883, or, for that matter, the Asics. To get some volume back, I changed the way I lace them to the lacing matrix I use on my hiking boots, and that has worked great. For what it's worth, I've tried the New Balance 1080, a PL-1 lasted shoe, and on that shoe there's just no way for me to add enough toe and midfoot volume through lacing tricks.
I think the soles on the 840 are softer than the 883 it feels plusher during my run, anyway. At the 150-plus-mile point, they still feel good. I already ordered another pair so I'm ready when these break down.
Remember, if you're looking for a stability shoe, this is the opposite of what you need. This is a cushioning shoe for neutral runners. But if that's what you're looking for, and you have feet like mine shaped like a fat wedge of gouda (and feet and cheese are just so appealing when combined in imagery) then these shoes might just work for you as well as they do for me.
UPDATE 8/12: I just started running my second pair of MR840s, and the toe box feels wider and higher, more like the SL-2 last I was used to. Compared to the MR883, I still think the midfoot may be slightly tighter and it doesn't have the 883's slightly over-long feel. So here I have two pairs of MR840s, one purchased several months after the other (and from two different sources), and I have to lace them differently. They're both great, but I prefer the feel of the second pair to the first. I'm looking to buy a third pair.

These shoes are VERY comfortable. I have a higher instep and wider feet and these fit like a glove. The cushioning is incredible and for someone who is 200 lbs., this is very important.
They are also very reliable. I've been running on mine for 2 months now and they are holding up well, inside and out.
As far as support goes, they are solid. I mentioned earlier that I have had both achillies and knee problems. The 840s have all but eliminated the pain I was experiencing. These shoes outperform all other motion control and cushioning shoes I have ever worn...period.
I'm sold on these shoes and I am VERY THANKFUL TO THE FOLKS AT NEW BALANCE who recommended these shoes. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed!

As a long time customer of New Balance, I always enjoyed the quality and consistency of their shoes. Apparently something big has changed at New Balance. The 840 is nothing like the 882, 883. Totally new redesign of the toe box makes it a poor fit for my wide foot. They are also incorporating new and cheaper materials. A super disappointment. I will now have to go searching for a replacement shoe from another manufacturer since all of the wide shoes now have this new, slimmed down look which makes New Balance no different than their competitors. I had read a few other reviews about the problems some guys had with the bigger sizes of these NB shoes. I guess sometimes the shoes are narrower than advertised or at least narrower than the previous pair they had bought. Not these. Maybe NB is improving their quality control or maybe I just got lucky. The New Balance MR840 is a great shoe, period. I've read all of the reviews about how this model is not as good as previous versions but for me, these shoes simply work. Are they the best looking shoes ever made? No. I'm not entering a fashion show when I run and I tend to look at where I'm running and not at my feet when I run so who cares. I'm 6'1" and 200 lbs so shoes that support me and keep me pain free are a must. I've stuggled with achillies and knee pain for years while running on Asics Gel Nimbus shoes. For a wide flat foot this is perfect. The sole is a little soft, almost spongy. This is great for impact resistance but not so sure it would be great for someone doing lateral movements. The shoe is light and airy. I got soaked in a rain storm, took the shoe off and it was completely dry in a few hours. Most shoes take days to dry out.

I bought these shoes because they're cute. I have plantar fascitis (undiagnosed) and the tight fit on the shoe felt so good on my heels. For a few days (I've only had them a week) I didn't have any foot pain. I would definitely get another pair of these shoes I just wish I could find them in another color.
Review of Scott Running Women's T2C Evo Running Shoe
Before I tore my right plantar fascia at the end of 2011, I primarily trained with the older version of the T2C. For some reason or another, I did not return to my old favorite after recovering from my injury. Out of the blue couple of days ago, I decided to give this new version a try and it did not disappoint at all. The ride is smooth and cushioned, while the transition from heel/mid-foot to toe is quick. I especially like the update to the lacing in this shoes, for it gives a better fit. Although I only had one run of 8 miles in them so far, I am more than please with its fit and performance. It has a barely there feeling and a good connection to the ground despite of it being a cushioned running shoes. So, I ordered two more pairs today because the previous version only lasted me around 200 miles before the exterior sole of my left front heel began to wore off completely.
