never usually have a problem with nike, but these are so overly padded it's not funny. ordered my usual 9 and could barely get my foot in. either order 2 sizes up, or go with the air max line they have!

These sneakers passed our nine-year-old boy's "coolness" test, with their springs built into the heel that actually seem to provide some bounce to the shoe. They are nice-looking, and the break-in period consisted of wearing them around the house for an hour before he declared them comfortable.
It's too soon to gauge longevity, but his last pair of Skechers lasted nine months, and ours is a kid who is hard on his shoes. We were replacing cheap pairs every other month. If the Voltz wear as well as the first pair of Skechers we tried for him, they will be an excellent value.

This shoe would be great for snow, although I don't know if it's waterproof. We live in Florida, and did not realize this shoe was so thick and hard. My son loves how the look and says they are comfortable, but hard. He stomps around in them because they are very heavy. My son saw these on commercials over the summer, when they were priced higher for back-to-school. We *patiently* waited until after school started (the price went down $18) and he was VERY excited to get his new "springy shoes". He's worn them almost every day since, saying he has cool moves when he wears them. In the past, some new sneakers have been a little tough to break in, but he hasn't complained about any of that with these shoes, saying they fit "perfect and comfy". We like the Skechers because he owned another pair that looked brand new after over a year of use. My son prefers Skechers over any other brand of sneaker on the market--mainly because he said they are so comfortable. He owns one pair that he has had since he was 6 years old and now he is 10 and he still plays outside in them and believe it or not they are still in pretty good shape. When his Skechers Voltz showed up at our house his eyes lit up and so did mine!! This is a very cool Skecher--and I am saying this from a mom's point of view--I'm talking about the quality of the craftsmanship--very durable and of course my son tends to choose the brighter colors and when he choose the black and orange well they are perfect the orange is a true orange not neon but true orange. Cheap PUMA Men's Complete Trailfox IV Running Shoe
I live in the Northeast where snow and black ice is common early in the morning, I was looking for a winter running shoe with grip for ice and at the same time insulated for running on snow and stay dry. My friend recommended these pair of Puma orange complete, for running very early in the morning with 30* cold weather, the stability of the shoe on ice is good. Great too for wet grass, the grip is excellent. I still own the Itana from Puma for spring and summer and love them but not for extreme weather like these pair of Complete Trailfox.
I would recommend these shoes without reservation. If these last as long as my previous pair I expect to get 3 years of everyday wear out of them.

I bought these Trailfox IVs due to previous experience with Puma's trail shoes. These are just as good as my former pair. Snug fit and the shoe moves with my foot easily. Very comfortable and well cushioned. Good grip on all surfaces I've been on, wet, ice and uneven ground. I did add another insole to increase the cushioning due to the fact I also wear these while on concrete. Only one minor negative with my pair: one of the "accent" stripes was unglued over a small portion of the shoe. I have been concerned about snagging it, but so far so good. I just need to find a suitable glue to secure it. Puma offered to replace the whole shoe, but I declined that offer as it was a defect that did not demand that kind of resolution in my mind.I would recommend these shoes without reservation. If these last as long as my previous pair I expect to get 3 years of everyday wear out of them.

Due to winter I haven't gotten the chance to work them hard, but they fit well and are comfortable while supportive. They squeak a bit when I walk which I hope will fade with more use.

Great color to add to the collection. Own roughly 15 different pairs of New Balance 574s, currently. Have received many comments on the color from people. Make sure to spray with water proof/stain resistance before wearing to ensure long dirt free life. Would recommend to anyone looking for a colorful sneaker. Order a half size larger than you would normally wear as the shoe seems to run small.
But I digress... Typically, when one goes to buy a casual sneaker, they have two things in mind: Looks and comfort. Sometimes, comfort even comes AFTER looks if you are really bent on your appearance. Versatility and longevity are OFTEN not primary factors. It's a street sneaker; you aren't looking for high-end sprinting performance to rival Usain Bolt, or the ability to wade through crocodile-infested swamps while silently pursuing a band of ruthless mercenaries.
The New Balance 574 delivers soundly in both leading categories of looks and comfort. For the first 20 minutes of wearing them and strolling around, I was alarmed by the awkward feeling they provided, as with every pair of new shoes (particularly New Balance) that I have bought. This quickly subsided as my feet readily accustomed to the shoes, and now they feel like part of my body. So...comfort, check.
And the LOOKS... When I first stumbled across the 574, I had frankly gotten sick of the typical shoe design--lots of cheap "synthetic uppers" made of whatever synthetic material it is they use, and "bling" in the form of gaudy, glued-on plastic trash that usually peeled off after a few weeks and contributed a frenetic, busy appearance reminiscent of a Jackson Pollock painting. The 574 does away with this nonsense. First off, forget what cliches may exist for suede shoes (especially blue ones), the suede used for the uppers on these is MUCH nicer than the typical "synthetic" [material]. In addition, the shoe is simple (at least mine are, with only neutral tones) and lacks glued-on tidbits, meaning that you won't be leaving a trail of spare parts behind you once the shoes age a bit. The big "N" logos scream "retro" and I think they look pretty cool. I see a lot of folks wearing New Balance shoes, and although all of them are pretty good quality, mine seem unique and a step above the typical "generic" style.
But wait, there's more! So they are comfortable, and look the part. What about those "bonus" features? Well, I haven't gone on a mercenary pursuit lately, but I can say that I jog, cycle, exercise, walk around the kitchen, go to class, go to work, drive, and push cars with these things...no problem. What's more, and this is entirely true, I rode a camel up Mt. Sinai (yes, THE Mt. Sinai in Egypt, and yes, a CAMEL) and then walked all the way back down...in these shoes. And they LITERALLY look "none the worse for the wear." Seriously, they aren't high-traction hiking shoes, so I slipped a bit on the gravel (though proud to say I never FELL) and these shoes didn't have a mark on them afterward.
Moral of the story? If you like suede, retro-ish, comfortable, durable, and generally great shoes that don't require a trip to the loan officer at your local bank, then don't hesitate to buy the New Balance M574 sneakers. They really are that good.

This was my first New Balance shoe ever. I've seen people wear New Balance brands so I decided to try it. This shoe is VERY comfortable, cushioned, and make great for street walking. I am not very active and normally wear sandals or dress shoes so perhaps this is why they are comfortable. I have not worn athletic shoes in years. I got these sneakers for my husband after months of searching in stores. New Balance must not make them too much anymore. Anyway, our entire family owned a pair at one point and we must say it is by far the most comfortable, lightweight sneakers we have ever worn. My son and I both have wide feet only in the front, I got him a pair, black, to see how they felt to him. He loves then, they are light comfortable, awesome flat laces and he says they help him run really fast. So I got myself a pair. I wear a 7 1/2 in women's the 5.5 is great but not as wide as I expected through the toes in the larger size. They are comfortable lightweight easy to move in. I will be getting my son another pair.

After getting denied the first time trying to buy these shoes finally found someone else who had a listing and couldn't be happier. Shoes are very light and the the colors are perfect match for my Seahawks. A little snug when you first put them on but your foot quickly works into the right spot. Very comfortable for any kind of activity from lounging around to running. I couldn't be any happier with the purchase. Might even get a second pair in another color.
The Nike Frees are a great product! They are very comfortable and good looking too. They come in many different colors. The 3 are a lot more comfortable than the other Nike frees. The 3 are a big step up. They are very long lasting and you get great wear out of them. The Nike chip is great if you are big into running. They are great to go anywhere in because they are so light and flexible.
Although they come in all sizes, this is probably not a very good shoe for little kids. Because their feet are still growing, if that is the case then they are a bit pricey. But otherwise it is worth the money.

Review of ZEMgear 360 Ninja Split Toe - Running Series
I'm writing a review here because there doesn't seem to be a place to do that directly on Zem's site...and maybe my comments will get a little more notice here vice their broken contact/customer support system...more on that later.
First, I purchased these shoes coming from experience with Vibram FF's (Sprint, KSO, and Bikila), but no other minimalist style shoes. I love the fit and feel of the KSO and Bikila (Sprint not-so-much), but when I saw the 360's I decided I had to see how they compare, esp being cheaper and with the unique split-toe design.
Initial thoughts They look nice (IMHO), fit well (normally wear 11.5 so ordered up to 12 for the first pair), the bands seem to snug the shoes to my feet (with socks), material and sole are very flexible, great "road-feel", slightly warmer than the VFF's, easier to take on and off (esp with tabi (split-toe socks)), and all around an impressive shoe. My feet are "average" and roughly identical in length...no issues with rubbing/pinching on the 12's (even with moderate heel spurs).
How do I use them? I run moderately (mostly paved trails/sidewalk/some light offroad) but also use them as an everyday shoe...errands, physical training, driving, you name it. They're just a comfortable easy to use shoe with great feel. Be warned though...you will feel rocks and other objects through them if you don't watch your step. I still love my VFF, but if I'm in a hurry and don't want to mess with five toe socks or velcro, these are what I grab. (And they're money at the airport.)
But...as much as I enjoy these there are a few glaring cons that make me hesitate to recommend the Ninja 360.
First, after using the 12's for about 2 months the left big toe tread began delaminating/separating from the sole. This is a huge hit. I had run and used them lightly during this time...maybe 40 miles running at most on asphalt/concrete/paved and sandy areas, and walking around. I was deployed and was outside the Amazon return period, so opted to try gluing the tread back down. This was a very temporary fix, and I've had to try different glues and re-apply several times since then. Considering the limited use of the shoe when this issue developed, this is an unacceptable flaw. Currently my repair is holding, but I shouldn't have to start repairing my tread after only 2 months of light use. Could I get them replaced under warranty? I don't know. I thought I tried that, but so far no luck. (slight sarcasm, see below)
Also, I had been wearing either "flip-flop" socks or Injinjis with the 360's, which helped the 12 fit more snugly. However, after ordering some AFX no-show socks, which are very thin, I noticed the shoes slipping on my feet while sprinting. It could be partially my form, but I decided to see if an 11 would fit better with thin or no socks. I wanted a glove-like fit. So I ordered some 11's (direct from ZEM this time).
First pair of 11's, the right shoe fit perfectly. It was like a glove; exactly what I wanted. The left shoe, however, was sewn shorter in the big toe. The best I can describe is the material was overlapped too far and pinched more material into the toe of the shoe. So while the overall fit of the left was great, the big toe was too short and there was extra bunched material inside rubbing on the end of my toe. No good.
And to top it off...right out of the box the left big toe tread was delaminated for about 1/4 inch from the tip. (That's 2 for 2 with tread issues. A red flag for me!)
As this pair was purchased directly from Zem I e-mailed them about returning/exchanging. I got a strange e-mail that looked like my message e-mailed back to me, but no confirmation or acknowledgement. I tried again. Same thing. I waited...Sent another message. Nothing. Finally I received a reply, but it was obvious the individual didn't fully read or understand the issues. (I guess my bad for listing the problems with both the 11's and 12's together) But after that human contact I heard nothing. I sent a couple more e-mails. This stretched on over a couple months. Mind you I had other things going on and didn't have the time to keep e-mailing over and over. But it was like my e-mails were being eaten.
Eventually I did try again and the same individual told me a replacement pair had been sent several weeks earlier. (Of course no one had told me this) When they finally arrived I tried them on. This time the tread looked firmly attached on both shoes, but the left big toe exhibited the same pinched/shortened toe pocket. Everything else was pretty much perfect, but the slightly shorter toe and extra material inside the end made for an uncomfortable fit, and I'm sure there would be a nice blister if I tried running in them. I wore them around the my room for an extended period just to make sure, but no go.
I emailed Zem back with the news. The original ticket had been closed and a new individual was helping me, but it was again obvious they weren't quite getting the issues. After several in-depth e-mails with photos and no real resolution I haven't heard back from Zem for about a month. I don't know if I dare try again. (Zem, if you read these...help)
To summarize, I really like the concept of this shoe and overall the 12's have served me well the past 6 months (self-repair frustration aside). And heck, I even want to help make them better by providing feedback to Zem about what works and what doesn't, but there appear to be some serious issues with tread adhesion and a little slop in quality control. And if your issue falls outside the scope of Amazon's return policy or you order direct from Zem, good luck working with customer service. I recommend you try the shoes in person if you have that luxury, both for fit and a good inspection of the tread. Hoping my frustrating experience is an isolated case, but proceed at your own risk. =)

Ok first, great for traveling, there's no reason to not take them anywhere. I'm a guy, but i bet it's great for girls to keep in their purse when they're out in high heels but want to come back in comfortable shoes. You can roll them up, wash them easily all graet stuff.
Now about the comfort, GOD i have to walk a lot while i'm traveling, but when i have these on i NEVER GET TIRED. Moreover if my feet are tired from aesthetic shoes (aka regular shoes that serve the sole function of looking good at the detriment of everything that has to do with the FUNCTION that feet perform) the zem shoes REJUVINATE your feet after a tiring day.
RUNNING= WOW you feel like a sports car with these on. You constantly want to rev the engine. You feel SO AGILE in these shoes, you can blitz past a crowd (like a kid). You feel like you're on a motorcycle.I got the split shoes because I heard they dont let your feet slip around like the round toes do (i've never tried those so i dont know, but the split toes do NOT slip)
Draw backs:
1. When it's wet, the cloth upper soaks in water (but really who cares, not like youre wearing socks)
2. If your pants are loose they are going to drag on the floor as they would when youre barefoot (solution: buy pants that fit, you slob)
3. THE MAIN DRAWBACK= THEY ARE UGLY UGLY UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!! (only for the split shoe). You and your crab feet WILL get stared at wherever you go
Here's why the are ugly-it's not the split toe itself but because (to save cost) they simply use the same sole for the round and split toe, and simply slice the split toe. What this does is leave an extra corner of fabric and rubber in the corners of the split which gives a crab claw look to your feet. If the sole was rounded off around the split it would look a LOT better, but i understand they like to save cost and use a single mould for the sole.
Anyway all in all, no regrets!
I've had heel problems for some time, so I tried the 5 Fingers, which were nice, but a real hassle to get all 5 toes in. The ZEMgear just fit. It's still winter so I've been wearing them with toe socks (they also work with regular socks just fine). They have not gotten stinky with socks on.
The first time I wore them for a one mile walk downtown my feet were aching! After a half mile of running my calves were unbelievably sore and stayed that way for about two weeks. But after lots of short runs (1 mile max) and consistent walking in them, I just ran 4 miles today for the first time in 2 years. My feet feel great, they feel stronger, my calves are stronger, and I'm probably walking right for the first time since I was a kid.
Update:
These will last for about 3-4 months of casual running. They are not durable, but I still love them.
I wear these with tabi socks, and I consider being able to wear socks an advantage. However, even with socks my ZEMs are a tiny bit big for me, and I hope ZEMgear will make plans to create smaller sizes.
Finally, the taping around the opening can get frayed at the ends still room for improvement there.
EDIT: My new favorites are now the ZEMgear Terra, which have a more robust sole suitable for both indoor and outdoor practice. I could not practice on rough asphalt pavements in the 360's because the traction pads would start to peel off they really are better for relatively smooth surfaces. In the Terras, however, I can practice movements which require turning on a weighted leg without fear of damaging the soles (other than normal wear and tear, that is). The Terras soles also wrap up around the sides a little, just enough to protect the toes and keep the sides from abrading. I still enjoy the 360's, but I now use them for indoor-only practice.
First, I purchased these shoes coming from experience with Vibram FF's (Sprint, KSO, and Bikila), but no other minimalist style shoes. I love the fit and feel of the KSO and Bikila (Sprint not-so-much), but when I saw the 360's I decided I had to see how they compare, esp being cheaper and with the unique split-toe design.
Initial thoughts They look nice (IMHO), fit well (normally wear 11.5 so ordered up to 12 for the first pair), the bands seem to snug the shoes to my feet (with socks), material and sole are very flexible, great "road-feel", slightly warmer than the VFF's, easier to take on and off (esp with tabi (split-toe socks)), and all around an impressive shoe. My feet are "average" and roughly identical in length...no issues with rubbing/pinching on the 12's (even with moderate heel spurs).
How do I use them? I run moderately (mostly paved trails/sidewalk/some light offroad) but also use them as an everyday shoe...errands, physical training, driving, you name it. They're just a comfortable easy to use shoe with great feel. Be warned though...you will feel rocks and other objects through them if you don't watch your step. I still love my VFF, but if I'm in a hurry and don't want to mess with five toe socks or velcro, these are what I grab. (And they're money at the airport.)
But...as much as I enjoy these there are a few glaring cons that make me hesitate to recommend the Ninja 360.
First, after using the 12's for about 2 months the left big toe tread began delaminating/separating from the sole. This is a huge hit. I had run and used them lightly during this time...maybe 40 miles running at most on asphalt/concrete/paved and sandy areas, and walking around. I was deployed and was outside the Amazon return period, so opted to try gluing the tread back down. This was a very temporary fix, and I've had to try different glues and re-apply several times since then. Considering the limited use of the shoe when this issue developed, this is an unacceptable flaw. Currently my repair is holding, but I shouldn't have to start repairing my tread after only 2 months of light use. Could I get them replaced under warranty? I don't know. I thought I tried that, but so far no luck. (slight sarcasm, see below)
Also, I had been wearing either "flip-flop" socks or Injinjis with the 360's, which helped the 12 fit more snugly. However, after ordering some AFX no-show socks, which are very thin, I noticed the shoes slipping on my feet while sprinting. It could be partially my form, but I decided to see if an 11 would fit better with thin or no socks. I wanted a glove-like fit. So I ordered some 11's (direct from ZEM this time).
First pair of 11's, the right shoe fit perfectly. It was like a glove; exactly what I wanted. The left shoe, however, was sewn shorter in the big toe. The best I can describe is the material was overlapped too far and pinched more material into the toe of the shoe. So while the overall fit of the left was great, the big toe was too short and there was extra bunched material inside rubbing on the end of my toe. No good.
And to top it off...right out of the box the left big toe tread was delaminated for about 1/4 inch from the tip. (That's 2 for 2 with tread issues. A red flag for me!)
As this pair was purchased directly from Zem I e-mailed them about returning/exchanging. I got a strange e-mail that looked like my message e-mailed back to me, but no confirmation or acknowledgement. I tried again. Same thing. I waited...Sent another message. Nothing. Finally I received a reply, but it was obvious the individual didn't fully read or understand the issues. (I guess my bad for listing the problems with both the 11's and 12's together) But after that human contact I heard nothing. I sent a couple more e-mails. This stretched on over a couple months. Mind you I had other things going on and didn't have the time to keep e-mailing over and over. But it was like my e-mails were being eaten.
Eventually I did try again and the same individual told me a replacement pair had been sent several weeks earlier. (Of course no one had told me this) When they finally arrived I tried them on. This time the tread looked firmly attached on both shoes, but the left big toe exhibited the same pinched/shortened toe pocket. Everything else was pretty much perfect, but the slightly shorter toe and extra material inside the end made for an uncomfortable fit, and I'm sure there would be a nice blister if I tried running in them. I wore them around the my room for an extended period just to make sure, but no go.
I emailed Zem back with the news. The original ticket had been closed and a new individual was helping me, but it was again obvious they weren't quite getting the issues. After several in-depth e-mails with photos and no real resolution I haven't heard back from Zem for about a month. I don't know if I dare try again. (Zem, if you read these...help)
To summarize, I really like the concept of this shoe and overall the 12's have served me well the past 6 months (self-repair frustration aside). And heck, I even want to help make them better by providing feedback to Zem about what works and what doesn't, but there appear to be some serious issues with tread adhesion and a little slop in quality control. And if your issue falls outside the scope of Amazon's return policy or you order direct from Zem, good luck working with customer service. I recommend you try the shoes in person if you have that luxury, both for fit and a good inspection of the tread. Hoping my frustrating experience is an isolated case, but proceed at your own risk. =)

I was going to give 5 stars, but they are WAY TOO UGLY!!! But first let me tell you how great they are. Here are the main perks:1. Super light, great for traveling
2. Very portable/foldable great for traveling
3. Easy to wash (great considering you dont wear socks with it
4. SUPER COMFORTBLE
5. GREAT for running, you find yourself running for no reason
Ok first, great for traveling, there's no reason to not take them anywhere. I'm a guy, but i bet it's great for girls to keep in their purse when they're out in high heels but want to come back in comfortable shoes. You can roll them up, wash them easily all graet stuff.
Now about the comfort, GOD i have to walk a lot while i'm traveling, but when i have these on i NEVER GET TIRED. Moreover if my feet are tired from aesthetic shoes (aka regular shoes that serve the sole function of looking good at the detriment of everything that has to do with the FUNCTION that feet perform) the zem shoes REJUVINATE your feet after a tiring day.
RUNNING= WOW you feel like a sports car with these on. You constantly want to rev the engine. You feel SO AGILE in these shoes, you can blitz past a crowd (like a kid). You feel like you're on a motorcycle.I got the split shoes because I heard they dont let your feet slip around like the round toes do (i've never tried those so i dont know, but the split toes do NOT slip)
Draw backs:
1. When it's wet, the cloth upper soaks in water (but really who cares, not like youre wearing socks)
2. If your pants are loose they are going to drag on the floor as they would when youre barefoot (solution: buy pants that fit, you slob)
3. THE MAIN DRAWBACK= THEY ARE UGLY UGLY UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!! (only for the split shoe). You and your crab feet WILL get stared at wherever you go
Here's why the are ugly-it's not the split toe itself but because (to save cost) they simply use the same sole for the round and split toe, and simply slice the split toe. What this does is leave an extra corner of fabric and rubber in the corners of the split which gives a crab claw look to your feet. If the sole was rounded off around the split it would look a LOT better, but i understand they like to save cost and use a single mould for the sole.
Anyway all in all, no regrets!

Super comfy, easy to slip on and off, and after three weeks my feet feel great for the first time in years. I have wide feet and these feel way better than other "minimal" shoes like the Saucony Hattori. These will change how you walk and run though, you cannot land on your heel in them.I've had heel problems for some time, so I tried the 5 Fingers, which were nice, but a real hassle to get all 5 toes in. The ZEMgear just fit. It's still winter so I've been wearing them with toe socks (they also work with regular socks just fine). They have not gotten stinky with socks on.
The first time I wore them for a one mile walk downtown my feet were aching! After a half mile of running my calves were unbelievably sore and stayed that way for about two weeks. But after lots of short runs (1 mile max) and consistent walking in them, I just ran 4 miles today for the first time in 2 years. My feet feel great, they feel stronger, my calves are stronger, and I'm probably walking right for the first time since I was a kid.
Update:
These will last for about 3-4 months of casual running. They are not durable, but I still love them.

I wear these for indoor tai chi (taijiquan) practice, and so far they've been great. The split toe style allows the foot to expand naturally, and the lack of extraneous padding helps with balance and flexibility. They are also durable enough that I can walk to practice in these if the weather is dry. Traction is very good without being sticky. These are also much more affordable than most other minimalist alternatives popular in my class such as the Vibram FiveFingers. The 360's are an improvement over the classic style Ninjas with less noticeable inside seams, a more molded shape, and much more attractive styling.I wear these with tabi socks, and I consider being able to wear socks an advantage. However, even with socks my ZEMs are a tiny bit big for me, and I hope ZEMgear will make plans to create smaller sizes.
Finally, the taping around the opening can get frayed at the ends still room for improvement there.

ASICS Women's GEL-Solution Speed Shoe Review
This shoe is the closest I could come to when wanting a shoe that fits and feels like a running shoe. The heel fits very snugly and you can feel the cushion in the heel and forefoot, not just the heel alone. I have been looking for a court shoe that provides stability for lateral movement yet wasn't super heavy (all leather) and had plenty of cushioning. I FINALLY found one that I love as much as my Asics running shoes. I should note that I didn't start off with only trying on the Asics even though they are the shoe of my choice. I tried on every brand and model I could find of all the brands so I could truly not overlook any court shoe. I tried on just about every single court shoe I could find from local sporting good stores to three different tennis shops. This shoe fits the bill perfectly for me! KSwiss, New Balance, Nike, Prince all felt like the toe box was too wide for me and Babolat felt much to tight in the toe box. Additionally none of them had the same cushioning as these Asics do. The toe box on these court shoes aren't huge so my foot fits snugly. My feet are very average in width. I would also mention that when you walk in the shoe you don't feel like it "buckles" around your toes. It's a very flexible shoe and doesn't need any "break in" time.

Discount Saucony Men's Progrid Omni 10 Running Shoe
Last year, at 340 pounds, I started an exercise program. I started with a pair of New Balance. Unfortunately, after only 1 or 2 months in the New Balance shoes, I could not even get on my feet in the morning. I had sharp pain in my heels, arches, etc. A friend recommended a running shop local to my house. With embarrassment--A 340 lb guy in a running shop--I checked out the store. They put me through a shoe fitting process, and, the Saucony Progrid Omni 10 was the shoe that they recommended to me. I took their advice and purchased the shoes. With a little rest and my new kicks, my foot pain disappeared. Last year--2011--I purchased the shoes for 120 bucks. This year--2012--they were half price. Hell yeah! I definitely recommend these shoes.
By the way, 270 lbs now. I am a slow loser.

The Saucony Grid Omni is a shoe designed for the moderate overpronator. The sole is a bit more substantial than many other running shoes, which is a feature I like. My foot tends to roll inward right before I begin to toe off, and many other stability shoes don't quite have what it takes to keep my foot straight; the Omni does a good job of this. Additionally, this shoe has a nice, wide toebox, which I also prefer. I find that this shoe fits most comparably to the Brooks Adrenaline.Overall, this is a great shoe (probably the best I've found) for my foot.

I run about 30-45 miles per week and these shoes were very comfortable straight from the box to the road. This shoe works in cold and warmer climes. Great value and gives support for feet and ankles.
