Okay, I was very reluctant to buy a pair of flip flops for this price... but I have plantar fasciitis and want to have support and cushion for my arch and heel without giving up my summer flip flops and after researching, decided I'd give them a try. I received them only yesterday, but I can tell you already, they are well worth it. Support, comfort, and style!!!! Yay!

My only note is regarding sizing. My normal shoe size is a 6 or 6.5 depending on the shoe. I ordered a 7 after reading reviews and am glad I did. The part that goes between the toes seems to be set back way farther than it needs to be. Because of that, my heel and arch actually fit perfectly in the larger size shoe but there is about 3/4 of an inch at the front beyond my toes. If you have longer toes, these might be perfect for you. Otherwise I am perfactly thrilled and LOVE them!

This is my third pair of Montrail sandals and I have recommended it to many of my friends and family. We all enjoy the perfect fit you get after the heating process in the oven. Won't wear any other slippers. Aloha from Hawaii where we "live" in slippers...

Let me preface my review with my story. I've had plantar fascititis for several months now ... it's getting better, but my feet still hurt from time to time. I've spent a fortune trying to find a comfortable shoe I can wear for hours. I've bought two pairs of Chaco's, two pairs of Tevas, a pair of Jambu,Merrills, Clarks ... you get the picture. Nothing really worked for me.

After reading the reviews for the Montrail Molokini, I decided to take the plung and order a pair. I am so glad I did! These are the most comfortable shoes I've found in a long time. I haven't baked and shaped them, but plan to do that soon. Even without the custom fit, they are awesome. I highly recommend these to anyone in need of comfy summer sandals. I did have to order up a size (thanks to the reviews I knew I needed to) ... I usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2 and purchased the 9. They fit great!

Honest reviews on Montrail Women's Molokini Sandal

I would highly recommend this shoe, but it is not made in the half sizes. The 6 was too small, and the 7 was too big. I really wish it came in a 6 1/2. Until then, I will have to find another brand that has the great arch support. The return and refund process was very smooth, quick, and easy.

I just received my Montrail Molokini Sandals and wore them today for the first time. They are light weight, spongy and very comfortable. I put them in the oven as suggested and molded them to my foot. I am usually a size 7 1/2 or 8 but after reading the reviews, I ordered a 7. They fit perfectly with no room to spare, but the 8 would have been too big. I will recommend them to everyone. I usually wear Fit Flops so I am use to the look. I can already tell that Montrail will be more comfortable and not as bulky looking.

If you are a softball player and even more, if you are a pitcher, THIS IS THE CLEAT YOU SHOULD WEAR!! Light, strong, durable, you name it... this is the one!! Mizuno cleats are the best!!

Honest reviews on Mizuno Men's 9-Spike Classic G6 Mid Switch Baseball Cleat

True to size. Runs a bit on the narrow side. Broke in quickly. Picture looks almost like a 3/4 show but comes to slightly over the ankle bone. Doesn't show it in pic or description but footbed in rear is actually a plate raised off of the sole about 1/3 inch I guess to provide some cushioning and heat relief on hit fields. Person using shoes is a girls pitcher a little more toe protection would likely give these longer life but we just recently got them so we don't know for sure. Hard to find girls specific 3/4 metal cleats in a small size.

This shoe is what the title says... just plain amazing! I play high school and travel ball and these shoes are of the elite class. They give good support and have a good amount of color cards to choose from(would be better if they were like the nike ones which are hard plastic, but they are good). I love the support on these. The lows are good but these are perfect. THEY ALSO RUN TRUE TO YOUR SHOE SIZE!!!!! THANKS AMAZON FOR THE AMAZING PRODUCT!!!!

The picture of these shoes showed Velcro closures, but they turned out to be lace ups. I kept them only because it is hard to find shoes in my daughter's size for a decent price. They are great shoes, but was very surprised to not get what was advertised... This has never happened to me before with Amazon.

Lightweight and breathable. Good for indoors or light gym activity.

Good cushion in heel, not overly thick. Pretty true to size where some of the other PUMA styles run small.

I like Puma as a brand and tend to by their shoes. This is the first time I bought online and I wasn't disappointed. I don't love the laces they are too long (I have narrow feet) wish they were more elastic and stretchy but that is the only thing I'd change. It's a clean and sharp looking shoe and comfortable.

The price that Amazon was selling this sandal at was unbelievable at about 65% off and lower than anywhere else. Of course it is subject to change but check out the different patterns for different sizes and you may get one color at a fraction at the price of another color. I have a little 14 month old walker who is wearing size 3.5 for stride rite. I bought the size 4 Keen (which is the smallest anyway). The length of the Stride Rite size 3.5 and Keen size 4 were the same. The Keens are just way wider. My little one does not have wide feet and I can see some space on the sides especially when she does not wear socks. You can't make them less wide with the velcro strap. However, they seem to fit fine to her and she took off running when I first put them on. I also have a pair of crocks that are much lighter. However, she does not like to wear those. Great toe protection. I would not recommend them for little ones that are not walking yet.

bought these for my 21 month old and 4 year old. Both wore them EVERY DAY on a Europe trip with no feet complaints out of either one of them! No pressure spots, no red marks, no sore feet, when worn with or without socks. They never fall off their feet. The velcro has held up well so far, only a month old right now. Love them, and would buy them again.

I had to buy them a full size bigger than what they wore in their other shoes, for both the 21 month old and the 4 year old. the little kid sizes are kind of hard to put on, so my 4 year old needs a little more help with his shoes than he does with some of his other shoes.

Best Deals on KEEN Newport H2 Sandal (Toddler)

Some may flinch at the idea of spending $40 on a pair of shoes for a kid who is barely walking (I know I did). I decided to take my son to a shoe store to try some shoes on, with the intention of just discovering his size and buying some cheapie shoes. The salesman suggested the Keen Newport H2. When I saw my son walk in those shoes, I knew we had to get them. He was a brand new walker at the time, but the H2s didn't get in the way in fact, they seemed to help his gait. He has since worn the heck out of those shoes for five months in all kinds of weather.

Here are my favorite qualities of the Newport H2:

1. Quality tough, yet comfortable. Sturdy but flexible soles, cushy insoles, comfy stretch fabric that lines the uppers. The fit is so perfect. I tried some cheaper imitators from Target and Old Navy, but they either didn't fit properly, or were so cheaply made that they looked like they would fall apart quickly. Newport H2s look better, and hold up better (even after washing).

2. Washing so easy! Wash on cold with detergent and air dry. Consider using an old toothbrush and mild soap to get any gunk out of the footbed, but that is the hardest it gets. Even a one year old will get their shoes filthy, so consider washability a must.

3. Design perfect for beginning walkers and growing feet. The rubber sole grips the floor and protects tender feet while still being flexible. Its toe cap prevents "road rash" and toe-stubbing. The Velcro ankle strap opening allows for a snug fit, while still allowing easy entry. (I tilt the shoe to the side to get the big toe in first, then twist to make sure the little toes don't get caught.) The heel strap helps get a perfect fit and avoids folding under.

I will continue to buy these shoes as my son gets older (and for successive children). One warning in use, though: when you go out in the sun and put on sunblock, remember to put it on your child's feet before you put their shoes on. Otherwise, they get a really funny tan line. ;)

Honest reviews on KEEN Newport H2 Sandal (Toddler)

My 2yr old wore these all summer, and is trying to still wear them even though it's freezing outside and he has outgrown them. I finally ordered the next size in two more pairs. Keen is a great quality shoe. My son can wear a pair of shoes out but these have held up nicely! Throw them in the wash and let them air dry and they look almost new again. I suggest going 1/2 size up than what your toddler normally wears in shoes (like 1/2size larger than a stride rite size).

My daughter is 2 and her feet are 5.5 so I ordered 6. And they are a little big for her as expected. So I do not agree with people who say order a size up.

Review of ASICS Men's GEL-Nimbus 12 Running Shoe

ASICS Men's GEL-Nimbus 12 Running Shoe,Black/Caviar/Lightning,7.5 M US
Customer Ratings: 5 stars

The Nimbus 12 is new for 2010 and is a worth successor to the excellent Nimbus 11. If you are a neutral runner (with maybe slightly higher arches) that optimizes for comfort over distance ahead of absolute speed this is a good shoe for you or at least a good shoe for you to train in to avoid injuries.

The Nimbus line is one of Asics franchise shoes; it is at the higher end of cost and purpose made for running. Note that there is little lateral support, so if you are cross-training in other sports you may need another pair of shoes. The Nimbus is particularly well suited for high-mileage runners (those running 25 miles or more a week) and those with a "neutral" gate and slightly higher arches there is greater cushioning for the arches.

For background, I am 6'1", 175, and run three to six miles several days a week 2/3rds of the time on a treadmill and 1/3 of the time outside. Some seasons I kick up the miles for a marathon, but in general running is part of a cross training program. I have traditionally, oscillated between New Balance and Asics, but tend to favor Asics (in part because the numbering system used by New Balance makes it more challenging to find the same types of shoes from year to year). The Nimbus 12s are probably my 5th or 6th iteration with the Nimbus line.

When you first see these in person you will notice two changes from previous versions:

1. more flash

2. an asymmetrical lacing pattern

The toe caps and portions of the shoe are shiny and look jazzier (to some maybe more expensive) than previous versions. The asymmetrical lacing pattern means that the laces follow an angle from the front of the shoe to the back, rather than the traditional parallel line (along the middle) from front to back. In theory this is to follow the contour of your foot more closely for comfort. Personally, I cannot feel a real difference, but I don't cinch my laces very tightly either, and the tongue of the shoe tends to provide enough cushion from the laces. Would rate this as much marketing as a value add feature.

The real difference from earlier versions is evident when you put them on. Instead of your foot sitting on a traditional wedge of foam, your heel actually sinks lower into the footbed of the shoe. At first they feel almost a little big, like you are wearing a low top shoe that comes up to your ankle and is also one size too large. But your foot also feels like you just slid into a well fitted shoe strange paradox that is a little disorienting...until you go for a run.

Running is where these really stand out. If you are looking for cushioning, these are the softest version of the Nimbus yet. Running on a treadmill or anything short of hard cement and you will feel like you are running on soft earth. Not so soft that you feel like you are running on sand, but soft earth like a well kept grass soccer field. The clunky feeling that you felt in first trying them on disappears and they feel great. You can run many miles and your feet still feel good. On the flip side, if you feel that the cushioning robs you of energy, then would suggest another shoe.

Two asides: (1) if you are new to Asics, most people order one size larger than their street shoe ie, if you where a 10 in regular shoes, you may need and 11 and (2) maybe in the minority on this, but I continue to be bothered that the stock insoles on the Nimbus are pathetic. For a shoe you are investing more than $120 in, the insoles are barely better than cardboard. But almost all running shoes suffer from this issue, so I am not deducting a star for this.

In summary, if you like the Asics feel, these are significantly different from previous iterations externally and internally, but an excellent shoe overall.

Hope this review helps you.

Best Deals on ASICS Men's GEL-Nimbus 12 Running Shoe

First of all let me begin telling you that I'm new to the Asics Brand. I did the terrible mistake of believing all running shoes were similar, therefore didn't pay much attention to brand, just a correct fit for my underpronation.

And Yes, what I mistake I made.

I'm not a marathoner or intend to be, I categorize myself as an individual who tries to have a somewhat healthy or active lifestyle and not be surprised by a heart attack in my mid 40's.

I jog around 6 kms (3.7 miles) per day and wear out my running shoes approximately each 6 months (my last pair was a NB 767).

Been feeling a bit of pain in my lower back and knee in the last couple of months, so a friend of mine recommended changing to a cushioning type of running shoe.

After doing my internet research, I stumbled upn the Asics Nimbus 12 model, and got some great reviews of it.

So I took the chance and ordered them.

The minute I tried them on, I felt amazingly well, my feet felt like cuddled, supported and cushioned. Then I went out and did my daily jog.

Not only I got less tired, but felt no pain.

So, considering that I'm not into fads or anything like that, I strongly recommend this par of running shoes if u haven't made up your mind.

I know that my next pair of shoes will be Asics Nimbus....

Honest reviews on ASICS Men's GEL-Nimbus 12 Running Shoe

The Gel-Nimbus 12 is very comfortable and has excellent cushioning. It's also a very breathable shoe (I live in Florida so it's a must for me). I recently did a 22 mile long run w/these shoes and had no issues. My only two complaints are:

1. I wish there was a better selection of colors for this shoe.

2. The inside area of the shoe that supports the Achilles tendon seems to wear out quickly if I wear cotton socks.

Previously, I was wearing Asics Kayano 15, however, after about 100 miles I started getting runner's knee and calf cramps on my runs. At first, I couldn't figure out the cause of my injuries, but then a friend recommended that I get a shoe that works for my foot type (flat feet). The Asics Kayano 15 is rated as a 'Stability' shoe. I needed a 'Neutral-Cushioned' shoe, so I bought the Gel-Nimbus 12 and have not had any sign of runner's knee or calf cramps since.

Bought this shoes and first time I used they were great!

They are comfortable a feel wonderful.

However, after using them for three runs I started feeling a ridiculous pain inside my lag, just next to my calf. I did not change anything in my running routine, only the shoes. So I went on line and found that this shoes were designed to compensate for suppination (which is actually a very unusual orthopedics problem).

I went back to my Mizzunos and the pain is gone!

So I would recommend the shoes if you suppinate, but if you don't, don't buy the shoes or you will end up getting hurt.

Also, don't buy it from Foot Locker online. Their costumer care is terrible and if you have any problems with the shoes it will be just a hassle. Unless you are 200% sure of what you want and the have the best price out there, buying online with them is an overall bad experience.

My daughter loves wearing these shoes when she just learned how to walk (with support) These ones are not slippery at all. The leather is very smooth, and it's not easy to come off. The leather does get dirty very easily since the baby crawls in it most of time, however, it is worth the investment.

These shoes are really nice looking ,but they fit kind of funny. I wear a size 8 and they fit great but just walking a little in them gave me blisters on my heel. I don't think going up a size would make a difference, I think it is the construction of the shoe and the material they use. Hopefully, I can slowly wear them in so that I can actually use them.

These shoes look and feel great. I usually wear a size 8 or size 7.5 without socks. I went with a size 8 and they are perfect for both. I've only had them a week, but I have already received several compliments. The arch support gets better as you break them in. These are very cool Saucony's. I love the red color and so does my 4 year old son. No one at preschool has these, and they are easy for him to put on and take off. They are flexible and perfect playground shoes. I never buy any other brand of gym shoes for my son because these work so well. They have great support, but are breathable, and wash well. I've gone to Stride Rite and tried their brand, but their boys shoes get terribly stiff feeling after your child hits the 10-11 size range. My son is a bit clumsy, and I don't worry about Saucony shoes tripping him up.

The previous pair of New Balance did NOT go well after 3 months with my 5 yr old son.

After upgrading to this pair, it was like magical. The velcro straps secure his feets comfortably within the bottom sole and top mesh of the shoe housing. The sole added padding on the sides provide stability and traction controls for his stop and turn movement.

Saucony is well known for the comfort in the padding. You can put a raw egg inside the shoe and let the shoe drop vertically down the a hard cement or tile surface. You should see the egg will be intact where the shoe's sole had provided all the energy damping from the dropped eggg.

Love these shoes! I needed a pair of sneakers that looked good with jeans for the winter. I searched all around the malls and shoes stores in my area and was told that Puma's were fading out so nobody carries them. I found a place that had the Suedes in blue and my size but they were very, very blue. These shoes are dark enough that the stripe stands out but the shoe isnt flashy with old school style. Looks great with jeans are and pretty comforable. Ordered my usual size and fit was good.

I bought these for my son as an easy-on, easy off all purpose, ventilated shoe for warm weather outdoor wear. He has been wearing a men's size 9 in Merrells, so I bought a half size up thinking they'd be roomy and last through the summer before the next growth spurt. (He's only 11 but very tall and lanky and wearing men's sizes!)

The shoe is attractive, lightweight, and seems well made. But they do run a bit snug, and are not as easy to pull on as I'd hoped. Probably not a problem for someone with a narrower foot. If your feet are wide, you might want to try a different shoe. Overall, these seem to run smaller than some brands. I notice other reviewers said these run large, but that was not our experience.

Update to my review: about a month after we bought these, one of the laces broke. Replacement laces at the local shoe store cost about $7.99. A little pricey for laces, but I could handle that. The problem is, the original laces that come with the shoe were actually glued, or possibly sewn, very tightly inside one of the openings down the center of the top of the shoe. They are REALLY glued in there. I never could get all of it out; I had to use scissors and a shish kebab skewer to jimmy an opening big enough to force the new lace through alongside that stubborn bit of the old lace. Apparently the manufacturers had the idea that either these laces would never need replacing, or that I was going to spend another $50 or so to replace the whole shoe just for a broken lace. That was a real pain.

Honest reviews on Sperry Top-Sider Men's 'Son-r' Bungee Sneaker

I bought these for my boyfriend who had slipped and injured himself on his last canoe trip. We had shopped at local stores, and all the water shoes there were either too flimsy or looked just like a pair of regular sneakers. He wanted something light and that would dry quickly, but he also had a good rugged toe, sides, and bottom for underwater rocks while maneuvering shallow water with a canoe.

He wears a 12.5 which is very hard to find in men's shoes, so we are always debating between a size 12 and size 13. This size 12 fit his foot comfortably, and he had no more slipping! He also has trouble with comfort in shoes that you do not wear socks with. He said that these did not rub or cause him any blisters.
