These sneakers arrived and I immediately noticed they were patent 'white' leather. Not for me. They were requested to be returned and an RMA was immediately issued for a return. Currently waiting for refund,I selected white on white but received blue on white, didn't bother to call because my wife said she liked them!

My daughter wore these shoes for approx 4 hrs the first day and the stitching that holds the sole to the front of the shoe came loose. This stitching was a major consideration for buying this particular shoe. My kids, everyone else's I'm sure, drag the toe of their shoes whether crawling or just playing, so the stitching seemed that it would prevent the sole from seperating from the upper. The shoes are nice appearance wise, and are comfortable according to my son. I wish they held up better for the price though. I REALLY loved the look of these shoes and so did my 5 yr old daughter. The only problem is, we purchase them July 31st, and by August 25th (or so) they have a hole in the toe. I know that kids are rough on shoes, but to not even last 1 month is ridiculous. She did not wear them everyday either-maybe 2-3 times a week, no joke. Although these shoes are highly adorable style & color wise, spare the expense and get something that lasts more than a few weeks.

I have been happy with the shoe so far and have done about 20 miles of running with them. My main problem with the shoe is that they are a half-size too big. I checked the sizing prior to buying them and it said they were the same cm length per size as were my previous asics (nimbus 10). These shoes are actually 1/2 size too big so are not the same sizing as the asics nimbus 10 as stated in the sizing description.

This is the first time I have purchased asics for myself, I have 3 daughters who all own a pair and have told me how great they are. I wanted a comfortable walking shoe, I realize that asics are typically for running, however these shoes are by far the most comfortable, supportive and best priced shoes I have found, (in researching other area's to purchase this shoe from), I would highly recommend this company, also they arrived 2 days after I ordered them, no long wait ship time, I will definately be buying from this company again, and suggest other's to do the same.

The only complaint that I have about these is that they are by no stretch of the imagination water resistant. If you walk across wet ground, your feet are going to be wet. When they were brand new, they were somewhat resistant to this, but after a month of wear, the water resistance is pretty much gone. However, they are very comfortable to wear and much warmer than my other five fingers. I would buy them again, but I wish they had gone to greater lengths to waterproof them for cold weather wear.
Reviews of Hillsound Trail Crampon Traction Device
First let me say I am a big booster of Hillsound's main competition, the Kahtoola Microspikes. In fact, my glowing review of the Microspikes was, for months, the first review you saw on Kahtoola's web site. I have worn out (and repaired them repeatedly with vise, hammer and pliers) my first pair of Microspikes. I now have a second pair of Kahtoolas to replace my old, very worn ones. Those spikes on the first set now resemble the teeth of a 80-year old Eskimo woman.
I thought this was a Hillsound review? It is... If you enjoy gnarly, snowy and icy trails the Hillsounds are your ticket. I gotta say they pretty much blow away the Katoolas on EXTREME terrain. If you trail run on the average woods road or such, the Microspikes may be better. They are a bit lighter and the spikes are not as long. BUT if you descend slippery and icy stuff the Hillsounds stick like Velco vs. the bit sketchy Microspikes. How so? Well, the dirty little secret of the Kahtoola's is that they have an Achilles' Heel. Where? In the heel. The heel area only has two spikes and they are inboard and more toward the instep than the edge of your heel. There is a review here on Amazon that actually calls the Microspikes "dangerous" due to this design flaw. IF Kahtoola were to add two more spikes toward the rear they would be near perfect, but still not as good as the Hillsound's. Why so? The spikes are longer-by quite a bit-than the Microspikes. I am sold on the Hillsounds and they will be on my trail running shoes (all I wear in winter even here in central PA) most often. They pretty much kick ass. I had about as much confidence in the Hillsounds on descent as I did with my Petzl mountaineering crampons (no not on trail running shoes) that I used on my local gnarly hill in one rather icy event last winter.
What about Yaktrax? Absolute POS. Awful. A joke. They are for the suburbanites on an icy sidewalk once a year. For that they are fine. Cheap too. As an recent example, though, in a group of 12 hikers two of our group had the rubber ribs break on their Yaktraxs. Don't step on rocks in Yaktaxs. Both Yaktrax owners ordered Kahtoolas the next day none of us had Hillsounds at that point. On another hike one fellow had both his Yaktrax fall off and never to be found.
I did check out the "extreme Yaktrax". They get poor reviews due to a design flaw the front and rear spike assemblies are not connected like Hillsounds. You would think Yaktrax would have figured it out. No wonder most sites have them on sale.
I don't know about Hillsounds durability yet. Nor their snow anti-balling properties. The snow I used them in was not of the consistency to cause that problem. The two metal plates that contain the spikes look solid, but may ball up. If so, I will first spray them with PAM and see how that works.

I live in Kodiak Alaska and have spent most of my hunting and hiking strugging up slidy muddy inclines and sliding down on my butt. These trail crampons are like adding AWD to your feet. Outstanding for use when the ground is wet, great for contoring along mountainsides. Now winter is upon us these crampons are really proving there worth in the snow and ice. These turn what was an arduous climb or descent into a stroll. Everyone I have been out on the hills with recently has now ordered a pair. If you live in an area that gets heavy rain or snow and ice and you like to hike or hunt, then these are a must have. Probably the best $60 I have spent on outdoor gear. I had to give these a try based on the reviews and the potential benefit of the more defined spikes. My test involved climbing a 11K mountain, with Ice, moderate snow and hip deep snow, climbing 40-50 degree pitches at times. Temps range from 40s to 20s on top. Under certain circumstances these provide better traction than Micro-spikes, however I ran into two issues: (1) climbing uphill on mixed terrain, the front end had a tendency to shift off the front toe. It was just less forgiving than Micro-Spikes. (2) balling is much more pronounced than with Micro Spikes. That was only an issue, of course, in sticky snow. I did like these, and liked the assurance of the strap in that I didn't worry that I would loose them, however, I ended up putting on my crampons in conditions that didn't warrant anything that substantial because of the balling. Next week end I'll probably go back to my Micro Spikes, but in drier (less sticky) conditions, I'll use these. These trail cleats are perfect for spring hiking. They extend the season by making it safe to walk those icy spring trails after rain or melting. Easy to get on and take off with a fairly aggressive base. Once they are on you don't even feel them under your boots. We have done some ice hikes in banff with these and the performed flawlessly! These are very good for wearing over large boots/wading boots. Great for hiking through snow to get to the river. The spikes are quite long so it's hard to walk comfortably on solid ground but in icy snow or muddy conditions these are great, especially for steep terrain.
Cheap adidas Women's Oscillation W Running Shoe
This shoe I actually didn't purchase from amazon but from dsw, it was great except when I when I wore it for longer than an hour. I wore footie socks and I could feel the rim of the heel was starting to abrase my exposed skin and worse the shoe tongue of the right shoe was cutting into the top part of my right foot that it created a scab on the top of my foot even though I was wearing socks... I am looking for a similar shoe now with a thicker tongue and a padded or non-abrasive heel.

I absolutely loved these shoes. i use them for running on my track team and they are amazing. They fit very comfortably around the foot and the bottom sole is very flexable so they are really nice for running and everyday walking.

I have a pair of Techamphibian water shoes that I purchased several years ago. I wanted to replace them but what came, although the same style, was much stiffer and too large. Whereas my first pair were very comfortable I did not like theses new shoes at all. The return process , however was very satisfactory and certainly has not deterred me from further orders.
Also, the sizing problems were right from the online community. It's too large. We measured my wife's feet and took the relevant size. Even then, it was way too big.
Shoes have existed for so long, and so many other retailers can get it right... Why not a good show maker like salomon????

.....really nice sneaker. In my opinion Puma seems to size their footware about a half size smaller than "normal". I am somewhere between an 11 and an 11 1/2 so knowing this I ordered a 12. Perfect! I think they also run on the narrow side just a little bit, which makes for a better fit. Keeping this info in mind when ordering may help you decide which size to order. Ordering shoes/sneakers online can be tricky and simply a pain in the neck in the event you have to return for an exchange. I appreciate when people take the time to write a review that helps others decide if it's going to be a good purchase for them, I'm returning the favor. Hope this helps. Bottom line is it's a great looking sneaker that fits well. Laces are overrated. LOL! I was skeptical to order the White/Princess Blue color for obvious reasons. Not sure who the marketing genius was that thought it would be a good idea to call Royal Blue Princess Blue but I'm sure it has scared away anyone who might have his masculinity questioned for ordering such a color combination. LOL! I might just go ahead and order the White/Black pair too, providing they don't decide to go ahead and call it White/My Little Pony Black or anything.

I originally saw these shoes in JC Penneys and fell in love with them.. I normally wear a size 10.5 shoe and Penney's had an 11 to try on. To my surprise they were tight and I was afraid they wouldn't stretch enough to be comfortable. JC Penneys didn't have any larger sizes in stock, so I took to Amazon.com to see if they had size a 11.5 available. Not only was I able to purchase the 11.5 size, but i saved 15 dollars including shipping over the cost at Penneys. The fit was great and wore them in evening while walking around Disney World for the weekend. I didn't get these shoes as an athletic shoe, I bought this shoe to wear casually with jeans. I'm not a fan of the looks of skechers so this is a great alternative. These shoes were perfect to wear on the plane and in Japan. They slip on and off easy, and they are very comfortable. I read that they come small, it's true, I wear a 10 1/2, so I ordered size 11, they fit perfect. They are a little narrow, may not be good if you have a wide foot or can't wear a narrow show. I think I'll order another pair for the future, so I'll have another pair when I wear these out. That's how much I like them.
Discount ASICS Gel Enduro 7 GS Running Shoe (Little Kid/Big Kid)
Currently buying the 3rd pair for a 10 year old boy, athletic build, 5ft tall, 100 lb, with mild pronation. After many trials we found these shoes to provide the minimum amount of heel support he needs to correct his mild pronation, without additional inserts. Wears them daily at school and on the basketball court. Endurance is just barely acceptable, the sole stays glued but the shoe tip wears of. Every pair seems to last somewhere between 3 to 4 months, but by then he also needs to size up.
The biggest complaint I have is about the shoe laces. What a joke! Slippery on purpose, or by mistake I don't really care. But whoever decided it is acceptable to sell that for a shoe lace, must be a brilliant business major with a side business for shoe laces.
Also relevant to a kid, color choices are limited.

Brooks Women's Dyad 7 Running Shoes Reviews
I had been wearing the Brooks Addiction for years and thought I was "addicted." Then I found the Dyad, and realized that my orthotics and fused foot bones provided all the motion control I needed, and that the Dyad provided help for the slight supination that my surgeries and orthotics did not correct. I love the fact that Brooks shoes come in widths, as I definitely have a wide, flat foot. These are comfortable right out of the box, and they are my new fave. As running shoes are the only shoes my fixed feet can tolerate for any length of time, I wear them every day. The Dyad is sufficiently deep to accomodate my relatively bulky orthotic without making me feel like I am walking out of my shoes. And, I think the color is cool. Some might find it too bright, but I think it is great! I do wish, however, that Brooks offered this shoe in a variety of colors, because I would gladly buy another pair.

My podiatrist diagnosed me with flat feet and metatarsalgia in my right foot. I was limping and in terrible pain caused simply by running around the house in bare feet and sandals. The shoe store he sent me to put me in this aqua/navy shoe, along with my temporary arch supports and these are like heaven on my feet. No kidding!! Nothing pinches, rubs, or slips. I have plantar fascistis and have been trying to find a good shoe with the right amount of support. The Brooks Dyad are it. I have been able to go away from wearing orthodics while training for my half marathon. I have always been a fan of brooks but these are by far my favorite. I picked these shoes up from my local running store (at the same price) and have been wearing them for about a week. They have great support and a good amount of cushioning. I definitely recommend them to anyone who is active and serious about it.

If I could give these kicks more than 5 stars, I would. Injured my knee training for half-marathon. Was just starting back up after a week off from training and had a rough first 3 runs with lots of pain. Got these in the mail, tried them, went out for what was planned to be 8-9miles an felt so great I did 13.1! Today (the next day) my knee feels decent, and the rest of me feels greatnot even a blister! LOVE these shoes!
Some other Asics have /too/ much arch support. Like, I am not flat-footed, I consider myself normal (neutral gait), but I just can't stand the arch pain that comes from shoes with tons of arch support.

Just putting them on makes me feel like I'm walking on a cloud, and it actually motivates me to go longer and faster. Also love that they come in a women's 12.5 (I wear a 12 in most shoes but like to have a little extra toe room for running).

I am a plus-size female runner (6 ft and over 300 lb), just starting out with run/walk intervals. I've tried various types of Asics (including the kayano, Nimbus, blur, GT) and Nikes (free runs). This is my second pair of Asics athletic shoes. the first were cross-trainers, this time I decided on running shoes as I wanted a little lighter shoe when doing corss-fit classes. They feel great. Prior to Asics, I always had a hard time finding shoes that fit me well as I wear an 11.5B and Asics is one of the only brands that actually carries 1/2 sizes over size 10. Now that I have found them, I am never going to buy another brand!!!

I have knee problems and the Trance 11 was amazing. Half marathons and no painperfect mid foot stike. I've run a few times in these and they hurt instantly. They're still a very comfortable shoe but if you're looking for what you found in last year's shoe prepare to be disappointed.

Never had Brooks before and will definitely buy again. According to reviews I did get an 8 1/2 instead of the 8 I usually wear. They fit perfectly and were extremely comfortable from the start. I use them for walking. I had goggled n best shoes for walking and this is one of ones that came up. Very glad indeed.
