I am very happy with these Sketchers. I am a cook and am on my feet all day. These shoes are comfortable and look much "cooler" than typical chef shoes. I love that they are slip resistant!! If I ever have to replace these shoes I hope to buy this same shoe again. I think they fit true to size. Since they are slip on's it was a little hard to get them on the first couple times with my thick socks. The only negative is that the first couple times I wore them they rubbed against my left heel, but I just put some moleskin around my heel and now after a couple weeks they are totally broken in and feel great. Great purchase!

I'm a nurse practitioner in a hospital, and I bought these shoes as my work shoes. I needed something stylish enough to go with my dress clothes, but comfortable enough to walk(or run!) in all day long. These fit the bill! They are roomy enough for my size 11 feet AND my custom insoles, and they let my feet breathe. I have been wearing them 5 days a week, 9-10 hours a day for the past 4 months, and my only complaint is that I have 2 tears in the leather toe of the left foot I'm not sure if I kicked something & tore it, or if the fabric just gave out. Either way, I'm ordering another pair!

I bought these shoes for a server position. Black, slip-resistant shoes were required, and--after reading positive reviews for these shoes here and elsewhere--I picked these (my previous pair were killing my feet). These shoes are alright; nothing spectacular but workable. This review is written after one week of heavy wear.

People seem to have sizing issues with these shoes, but I was too hesitant to buy in a different size. I'm glad I didn't because the length is perfect. The width, however, is a bit odd to me. I have a slightly wider foot at my toes, but I buy and wear normal shoes. These shoes seem wide to me at the toe and instep. My feet don't slide around, but a slimmer style would've been more attractive (the image gives you a good idea of what the shoes will look like overall). If I wore these with a thick pair of wool socks, they'd fit perfectly. As people have mentioned, the shoes are snugger around the opening and a bit tricky to get on (not too bad). I noticed the tongue-part of the shoe pressed against the top of my foot the first time I wore the shoes, but I haven't noticed since. No breaking in required.

The support is minimal. The sole feels like a thicker ballet flat's sole and there is minimal arch support. The insert is removable, but I have yet to upgrade it. My feet and calves feel tired after a shift on my feet, but they have not hurt.

I'll probably try a different style when these wear out, but I'm happy to wear them in the meantime.

I just recently purchased these shoes. I really like them and they're cute shoes, but in my case, the openings of the shoes were way too small. I was unable to slip my feet into the shoes. I don't have huge ankles, but they're not tiny either. So unfortunately, I had to return them because there's no way for me to get them on my feet. The opening doesn't stretch either. This is the only reason I gave them 3 stars. Had I been able to get them onto my feet, I think I probably would have given them a 5.

First I would like to state that before you buy any inserts, I suggest finding out what type of arch your feet have. There are websites on line that can tell you how to do a simple test to find out. Just google it, it only takes a few minutes, and then you can be sure you are purchasing the right inserts for you. After finding out I have a medium to low arch, I went to Superfeet's website and started reading about the different inserts they offer. The Black DMP inserts were suggested for those who are standing on their feet for long lengths of time. I should also mention that you should consider some other factors. (age, weight, height, etc.) These all might play a role into why you are experiencing foot pain. And I might also add that these inserts are not miracle inserts. For me, it took about a week of wearing them until my feet and joints really took notice. I'm 5'11" and about 200lbs, and I work in a factory where I stand on my feet for 8-10 hours a day, 5-6 days of the week. I've tried every shoe insert you can find from your local drug store. And every time, those inserts would help for a few months but eventually would wear thin and lose effectiveness. Superfeet states that their inserts should last about a year if taken care of properly. I certainly hope they do. I've been using these Black DMP inserts for about two months now, and I have to say I've noticed a major difference. I used to have sore feet and my heels would have sharp pain in them from time to time. Since using this product, those problems are almost non-existent. I say almost, because being on your feet for that many hours is going to create some exhaustion no matter what you have in your shoe.

While I'm very satisfied with their performance, I still feel that they are kind of expensive. These inserts cost more than my work boots I use them in. If Superfeet lowered the price on their inserts to let's say $25.00 instead of $40.00, they would get a five star rating from me.

Fitment:

The forefoot on these is a bit smaller than normal Superfeet (green, blue, black, etc). This was not a problem for me, with shoe size men's 11.5 US.

These have the same plastic support as regular Superfeet Black. That means they are the lowest arch profile from Superfeet, with Blue being the middle, and Green being the highest. This is too low for me, as the middle level (Blue, Orange) is the lowest I can comfortably get away with.

Comfort:

The DMP forefoot, at least for me, is not the cloud of cushion I was expecting. The top material does feel smooth and luxurious when sliding your foot in and out. Forefoot material flexability is medium, where Green would be most structured, and Orange would be soft and floppy, as Orange is all comfort foam (love it).

You can indeed see the impression of your foot, learned into the forefoot. But I do not get the sensory feel that this DMP is much more comfortable than black or blue, since the DMP just is not thick enough to either offer much cushion, or much depth for the foot impression. After all, it must still allow your forefoot to fit in most shoes.

My personal review for me is a 3, but overall I see this product as a 4 for the general market. I still think Orange is better for most instances; very darn comfortable.

For the record, I have Superfeet Green, Blue, Black, Black DMP, Orange, Merino White, and Three-Quarter. The brand has completely changed my life, as I am still in my 20s, and am big into rugby and other physical activity. I was previously strongly considering surgery for my right foot, since the arch is so weak. Not anymore.

This is an excellent product. Sometimes as expensive as the shoes but worth it if you tend to have foot problems. I have two pair of these and love them. After you wear them for awhile, you can take them out of your shoes and actually see the difference between your feet in the way they impact the ground. I will not buy a pair of shoes without buying DMP's to place in them.

I have several pairs of the green and orange Superfeet insoles that I have been happy with, so I was excited to try the range topping memory foam model. That excitement, however, was quickly followed by extreme disappointment and buyers remorse!

I wear a 10.5D Men's shoe and have a normal arch with a mild over-pronation. I started with the size "E" insole that is supposed to fit up to a Men's 11. It was way too small. Easy enough..., I returned them and ordered the next size up. It was definately longer, but still not wide enough to cover the full width of my "normal" width 10.5D Asics running shoes (as I discovered later). I was more focused on the length when I cut them and tried to cover the (what appeared to be a slight) width issue with my angle of cut. Thinking all was good, I went to the gym for a test run. The small width issue is a problem! The size of the insole becomes noticable and is a "comfort issue" after running for 30 minutes or more. The other issue that I had is that the start of the arch support is significantly shorter than my foot, and the design of the shoe, which also affects lasting comfort ("shorter," in that it starts closer to the heel and ends before my arch).

After my $50 expirement, I am back to my stock Kayano insoles in my running shoes as they are more comfortable for that use. As for the Superfeet Black DMP's, I went ahead and kept them, since I had already trimmed, but I stuck them in some golf shoes I rarely have time to use.

I would caution others to be very careful on the fittment before buying these online and more importantly before cutting them!

I work as a cashier and a warehouse type environment where the flooring is cement and I am constantly on my feet all day. I was wearing regular running shoes, but after awhile my feet began to hurt after a few hours. I wanted a athletic-type shoe that looked good but also was comfortable and sturdy. After wearing these Skechers Energy Afterburn shoes, about 30 minutes I could tell a major difference on how my feet felt on the cement floors. After work my feet did not hurt as much as wearing regular running-type shoes. I also noticed these shoes gave my feet an extra bounce, almost like the same effect you get from Reebok Zigtech shoes. I tried wearing my Reebok Zigtech at work. They are great running shoes, but not good work/walking shoes. With these shoes you get comfort plus the propulsion like the Reebok Zigtech shoe.

It could be a mistake for you to buy these.

I have owned 8 pairs of Air Nike's over the last 6 years for daily 4 mile power walks and some running,

they were an excellent all around training shoe. But I decided to try these Sketchers based on the mostly

good reviews and only have the Air Nike's to compare to.

For the good;

They look good and look well constructed. They fit well, I have semi wide feet but the reg M wide fit

good. thats it for the good

For the not so good;

They are advertised as having leather uppers but they are only partially leather--approximately 40% vinyl

and they are made in China. There is little or no arch support, you will need inserts with an arch support to

make up for it. They are not as light as the Air Nike, I would rate these shoes Medium in weight. The soles of

the shoe have a hard rubber and aggressive tread---looks like a serrated wash board and they feel like

that when walking. They look like they should provide alot of cushioning but only average at best, They

feel hotter than the Nike's, maybe due to more vinyl material.

These shoes feel rough when walking and are definitely not a good running shoe. They actually feel

more like a hiking boot/shoe than a tennis-shoe. ----cant recommend them.

As other reviewers have stated, the shoes are comfortable but the construction is VERY poor. Within one week of receiving the shoes the protective tip on the toe has already begun separating from the shoe. This detracts from the appearance of the shoe and, if it continues to deteriorate, will make the shoe useless within just a few weeks. Do not waste your money. Buy from someone else who can provide a better quality product for your money.

This shoe is very comfortable and adds decent support for long days on your feet. Still holding up very well ( has been at least a month now) I was indeed surprises since I have never owned sketchers before and didnt expect much.

These shoes were purchased for my grandson to wear in 2nd grade. The view of 2nd grade I heard was that it would start to matter what "name" or brand clothing was worn to be acceptable. My grandson is completely blind, so the name or the color doesn't matter to him. He can tell how it feels, and that does matter. I wanted some good shoes that would also have a "name". These reebock shoes fit great and he likes to wear them. The color is a little too wild with the orange, but it was the only combo in the correct size. The shoes did fit the need. Better yet they fit the feet of an eight year old who is very sensitive to how things feel.

These are a good buy. Colors could be a litle better!

Review of Nike LUNARGLIDE+ 3 MENS RUNNING SHOES

Ive just got these Lunarglide+ 3 and have used them for a week.

So far Ive used them at the gym once, a one hour walk, a 20min average running tempo in the treadmill and a 10 min fast tempo intervall on the treadmill, as well as 10 min or so on a crosstrainer. (Im about 5'10 175 pounds and exercice 2-4 times per week, normaly a mix of gym and cardio).

Positive: Feels very light, good support for pronation, good heal cushioning, fits snugly/well on the foot, very good looks (I think), overall comfortable, true to size (compared to what I usually wear)

Negative: Not good arch support (Ive got extremly high arches, for these I would need custom insoles), narrow in the toe-box (the outside of my two smalles toes falls on the edge of the insole), the cushioning in the front part of the shoes not as good as in the heals (compared to other shoes Ive used).

Verdict: Overall the shoes "feels" very nice, significantly lighter than my old ones, noticable when running especially. Should be good for moderate over pronators with reasonably narrow feet not needing too much arch support.

I have been a big fan of Asics running shoes since I ran cross country in high school. Although I didn't run quite as regularly after I graduated, I still maintained some semblance of a running schedule always using Asics as my footwear of choice.

Picking a quality running shoe is not as simple as finding the cheapest pair that fits. There are a lot of aspects of the choice to consider the shape of your foot, the way your foot strikes the pavement, the angle of your stride it's seemingly endless. I picked up these shoes after a recommendation from my local running shoe store many running-focused stores will give you a full diagnostics run-down of your running patterns, using cameras to record your strides in order to analyze your footfalls.

The Gel Oracle is a fairly neutral, stable shoe. It has some nice arch support and the shoe cups your heel nicely. I've only put a few dozen miles on them so far, but with most shoes, there is a steep adjustment curve. Not so with these they have been comfortable since day one! I recommend them if you're looking for a shoe with a lot of support while still maintaining a fairly neutral stride.

I have wide feet and am a neutral runner so I thought I'd give these a try since I used to wear the Asics Gel Fortitude before and loved them! The shoe fits good especially around the heel, gives great support there. I think the Oracle was made to replace the Fortitude series. The cushioning and feel of the Fortitude in my opinion was much better than the Oracle. The Oracle seems to weigh more and also feels cumbersome to me. It's almost like there's very little cushioning and the outsole feels like a board to me, especially on the longer runs. I really feel my forefeet on the longer runs. I'm a heavier runner about 180 lbs. so I need good cushioning and support without to much weight. I decided to use them on the shorter runs and that helps a lot.
