Bought these at the beginning of this season because I loved the color and they seemed perfect for my events (hurdles/sprints). I bought them from running warehouse because they had the lowest price and I could return them just in case they didn't fit, and I was so excited when I got them! They are gorgeous and so many people have complimented them. They're also very lightweight and the laces tie tight and stay put. I also love what they're made out of because the outside is very easy to clean and so it stays looking brand new. I've gotten countless PRs in these.(: My only (minor) complaints would be that the built-in plastic spikes on the bottom wear down quickly, and since I hurdle so much in them the inside (where the heel is) has kind of broken in, toobut it hasn't gotten too be a problem yet. I would definitely reccomend these to any sprinter/hurdler.

This is a beautiful shoe that I would have loved to wear for trail hiking and everyday commuting, but it is only useful for people with narrow feet. I have a wide toe box and narrow heel there are EXTREMELY few shoes available for my foot type. Kudos and dollars will go to the shoe maker who makes comfortable, attractive, useful walking shoes for people like us... There isn't much competition in this foot shape. Somebody please make shoes for us! (well, there are some but they are either ugly or poorly made or not for trail use)

IT'S BECAUSE ADVANCED RUNNERS TEND TO BE IN BETTER SHAPE, (LIGHTER IN WEIGHT) AND THAT CAN USUALLY PROLONG THE LIFE OF A SHOE'S MIDSOLE.

They looked exactly like the discontinued pair I had forever... looked like them, smelled like them and tasted a little like them too... For the first few days they felt great, then they very rapidly became very worn out. In a period of 3 weeks the bottom of the shoe compressed and I felt every stone I walked on, the fabric stretched and left no actual support. They essentially became slippers. I gave the second star for the warm fuzzy feeling the color scheme brought me remembering my old shoes. I would recommend the downforce version, much better shoe and they last a lot longer. Squeezing out that few extra bucks and limiting your color selection will make you a much happier consumer in the end. Pretty doesn't always mean perfect, regardless societies current stance. I feel deceived... and maybe a little dirty.

Delivery was fast and arrived brand new. Durable and comfortable are the best feature of this shoes. It does not have stitching that will rub on the side of your foot. The width is not too wide but not too narrow. On the plus side, if you select to buy the black and tan combination, it looks really good. I ordered mine in size 8 with black and tan. The price, for $36.00 is really really worth it.

I bought this since I love the Merrel glove shoe. This is a nice beach shoe the only issue I have is that the holes in the front of the shoe lets in a lot of sand so it becomes annoying and you have to clear out the sand once in a while. You can see the small holes in the product photo. Still pretty good and I use it regularly

I bought these shoes for sailing and they work very well. Like others have mentioned, these shoes are extremely light. You barely know they're on your feet. On the boat deck, they have a firm grip and feel solid. They also look pretty stylish.

I have another pair of low-cut hiking Merrell shoes that I used to wear all the time for grocery shopping, running out to get the mail, etc., but these Torrent shoes have replaced them as my go-to shoe. The other ones feel so bulky now.

These shoes felt slightly big at first because there is absolutely no padding inside and I don't wear socks with them when I'm on the boat. However, after tightening the laces fairly tight, they fit just fine.

If these shoes wear out, I'll definitely buy another pair. Very satisfied.

The fit is good, the rubber sticky and they are comfortable. The problem is that the upper got a hole worn in them the first time out. The hole was about 1 inch long, right above the rand on the ball of my foot and went all the way through to my sock. The material used for the upper is just not durable enough for the intended use of these shoes. To top if off, I've tried to correspond with Garmont's customer service 10 times through email and phone calls. The local Garmont dealer tried as well. Garmont has never responded. Buyer beware.

Well made. Good traction. Fit runs a bit narrow which suits me fine. Laces right to the toe allow fine adjustment of fit. Only comaint is that laces run a bit long.

Fit is great. They look great. But the uppers just spontaneously split. Not at a stress point. Not at a seam. Right in the middle of the leather. Not damaged by any hard use. I have been wearing them on the street for only a few weeks, and they split.

I have had probably a dozen pairs of Garmont approach shoes (the old Sticky Cats and the Sticky Lizards) and have always loved them, but this is kind of bad. Probably just a bad pair, but it's a ripoff, and they are past the return date. I'll give an exchange a shot, but I am not holding my breath. A new pair of $140 shoes dead in less than a month!

I got a large sized shoe, even though I took the smaller option that was supposed

to fit me. Sent back the shoes and replaced for a smaller size which was, again,

to big... unreasonable with respect the the"number" indicated. Now, I can't replace,

just return.

My complaint is not with regard to the product but rather to Amazon policy.

I wanted a shoe to wear with jeans. These shoes are tight in the toe area and somewhat heavy. I tend to drag my feet when I walk for extended periods of time and need a lightweight shoe. The look of the shoe is good but unfortunately not for me. I've had numerous foot surgeries and need a shoe for comfort with a big toe area. These are rather tight in the toe area. Wish I did not have to return them........they were a great buy.

This is a great shoe.I am athletic and I have a narrow size 9 womens foot, and these are even a bit tight on me in the width.. so if you have a normal or wide foot, these are definetly not for you as for style, I love the basic black w/ gray I can put neon laces in them, and they look cool. And as for comfort, I do find the tongue to hit my ankle a little wierd while walking, causing it to rub and be irritating, but the cushion of the shox, and the soles, are very soft and offers a lot of support and cushion while walking. I did not run in these shoes, they are a bit heavy for that, and the all leather makes them not very breathable. Overall for everyday walking shoe, I love these, and I got a great deal on Amazon with fast shipping.
