We have purchased these shoes for our three-year old for wearing at preschool. The shoe looks super cute, did not have the typical Crocs' plasticky smell and is running a bit small. Our son is a 9 to 9.5 size and the size 10 will not fit him for long. That's that. Now getting into the shoe is not that easy as the "heels" are folding down once you try to get the little feet into the shoes. So you have to fumble a bit to retract the heel from inside the shoe. That is a bit time consuming. Then a personal issue: while at school, the other kids found it rather funny to untie the laces and the teachers had to tie the laces all the time. So he is now wearing these shoes only on the weekends, when we have plenty of time to get ready and nobody will untie his laces. Conclusion: I will not buy another pair of these, but the crocband sneakers instead. We had two of those already and I wanted to try something new. However, I will refrain from laces until my child can tie them himself.

I basically wore nothing but these shoes, when they were made by Adidas, back in the 1970's/early 80's. The fit and quality was great and you could really move in them. Of course, after they stopped making them and my last pair wore out I was out of luck. I've had many other types of running/athletic shoes since, but always wished I could find some forgotten stash of that old Adidas model again. When I saw these shoes I was pretty surprised and hopeful, but when I found out Adidas owned Reebok I got excited! I have 3 pair now and I'm completely satisfied with them. Same fit and feel, with the added bonus of remembering good times from the past each time I wear them. If you remember these and liked them back then, do yourself a favor and get a pair. You won't be disappointed.

The only thing I do not do is sleep in them (well not usually). It is very hard to find shows as light as not wearing anything. I cannot stand shoes that form fit and are all fluffy and hot. I have run the gambit in color as they became available and not in my size. I used to let them ware out completely but now I use the new ones for work and the old for play and the garden. There is a pair that does not seem to want to wear out I keep hanging from the treadmill.

The only thing I regret is they did not even ask what I would pay for them to be made in the U.S.

I am giving serious though in having a backup pair.

These shoes are a bit snug-fitting, but that's usually to be expected with new ones. The color was composed of more of light-greenish shades of grey than the picture indicates. The quality seems to be very good, but that along with the corresponding fit will be indicated more clearly with the ensuing break-in. They are a cool-looking, albeit maybe a bit retro type of design; that was actually what attracted me. They look nice: not overly flashy, but not too subdued, either. I look forward to long life, like Reeboks and New Balances I have used in the past. These Reeboks do seem to be a bit tighter than similarly-sized New Balances, which are usually too roomy. The sock liner/inner sole is not removable, and the soles of these shoes are stiff (board-lasted), unlike Nikes and New Balances I have had (better for casual use than running or a lot of walking). The shoe laces are very nice: they are adequately long enough and have a little bit of elasticity; they have a reassuring grip or "cinch" when you tie the bow. Overall, I expect to get long and good use out of these shoes. By the way, I wear these types of shoes everyday and everywhere, including for walking and exercise sessions.

Buy Saucony Women's Hattori LC Running Shoe

I started running again about six years ago, in conventional shoes. Two years ago I read about the minimalist trend, tried on a few shoes, and settled on the original Saucony Hattori. What a difference light, comfortable, and I got rid of an old foot injury by gradually building up the muscles in my feet.

I bought the Hattori LC because my original Hattori were falling apart after being loved to death. These are even better better fit and easier to get on and off due to the laces instead of the velcro closure.

A word of caution: Like with any minimalist shoes, you need to get used to them slowly if you're switching from regular thick-soled running shoes. I went from running a 10k in the spring to doing a couch-to-5k over the summer, to get my feet and calves used to the different running style of a midfoot / forefoot landing instead of a heel landing. I'm never going back :)

I have been looking at these shoes for myself for sometime. When my wife decided she would like to pick up running, I persuaded her to test these out. From what I can tell they are extremely light and says they are very comfortable. I have heard these wear quickly for trainers and will have to see how many miles they get on them. If you are looking for a minimalist shoe look no further. Far better than anything we tried on in regular shoe stores and cheaper.

Great trail running shoe!! I run trails that range from gravel to crushed limestone to dirt to beaten path forest and this shoe performed very well. The grip is right for up and downhill with a good bite. The support and ride works well on uneven surfaces and the foot feels well protected. My typical shoe size is a 10.5 (road running shoe) and the fit calculator on RunnersWorld noted these would fit at a size 11. They were right!! That size fits snug where it counts and leaves some room in the toe box which allows your toes to move and catch the surface better.

The stars should be 4.5 because my feet got a little wet running through the morning dew on the grassalbeit they did dry fast (I had running socks onsee my review for them)...I would expect a little more water control on a trail shoe.

I own three pairs of these pants. I have found they are perfect length for someone who is shorter; I am 5 ft 4 in. They don't drag on the ground like most pants, and they fit well without feeling too stretched or too loose-a perfect fit. The pant is lightweight and doesn't feel too hot when wearing them, and they keep there shape no matter how much you wear/wash them. The color fades slightly, but all pairs have been through literally dozens upon dozens of laundry cycles. A perfect pant for "shorter" people!

my answer was definitely my shoes.

This is pretty cool looking shoes and I was more happy when it fit right and was so comfortable. I was little skeptical because initially I thought it was pretty flashy, litte bold than I usually wear or jazzy but it just looks fine and cool when you wear them with your casual jeans.

I just wear to my work (casuals are allowed) or anywhere I go out its just feels right. I must warn you this one is quite a head turner.

These boots are as warm as advertised! From Ft. Lauderdale, FL I went ice fishing at Devil's Lake, North Dakota where it was bitter cold (-17 degrees) my feet stayed perfectly warm all day. BUT, like most Sorels, they are flat so after a few hours they are not comfortable for standing and certainly not walking.

They are compact compared to felt lined Sorels which is very nice. So if you are going to be sitting in the cold all day you will be happy with these boots. If you plan to walk for more than thirty minutes, these are not the boots you will want to buy.

These are fantastic! Nice arch support; and nice support under toes. Just wide enough for the front of my feet with thin socks! Nice quality construction. I usually wear an 8.5-9; more often; a 9. The 9's were too long; had to return and get an 8.5. I have tried about 20 pairs of sneakers that do not fit my feet; these fit and have support in just the right places! I do find the color gosh darn ugly; but with my feet; I cannot be picky! Very bright pinkish/peachish! Is that a word; lol?! These just went down in price; am hoping the grey do also so I can have another pair. Can't wait to get the next pair! I highly recommend these if you have: Arch issues, wide toe box (JUST wide enough); and am not walking out of the heels since mine are so narrow! Best sneakers EVER! Forgot about Puma; I have a white/purple/blue pair that also fit well; just the white have gotten a bit dirty; and I don't like dirty sneakers! Highly recommend this brand as well as this particular shoe!

UPDATE: Ordered 2 other Puma's of the same style because they were gorgeous; but alas, way too narrow. So I went ahead and ordered these in the 8.5's. A bit tight in the toes for my wide toe box, but I am not walking out of them; and as stated, great arch support and nice feel under great toe in toe box! As I have ordered a ZILLION pairs of shoes from Amazon Prime; and returned them all; I am keeping these; if the toe box hurts; I am buying shoe stretchers! Will not put Amazon through me ordering pair number One zillion and one! Amazon is great; they don't complain; and I am sure I am an ANNOYING customer! Everything I have ordered from them has been a seemless process; I highly recommend Amazon Prime. I hope the other color of these go on sale; because I want the grey! Another note: These are a leather-type shoe; which will be easy to clean; very important to me because I detest even one drop of dirt on sneaks!

I was about to purchase this at Amazon, and then I remembered how long they take to deliver produces , so I did some research at other websites and not only did I get it within 2 days, but it was cheaper. This shoe is worth every penny. The comfort is unbelievable, I put them on and I did not want to take them off, I felt I could sleep in them so comfortable were they, apart from this the Japanese design is simply gorgeous. I've been running since I was fifteen, so that makes it about ten years now. I need a new pair every two three months (7 miles, give or take, per day, seven days a week on rough, gravely and dirt roads = going through running shoes like it's nobodies business, man).

I've tried all the brands, finally finding that Asics was the best for me. I was never the biggest Nike fan but a fellow runner and friend told me about these.

Like another reviewer, my feet roll out as I run and I also have high arches.

This is a good shoe. My feet do not roll out and my balance is good.

But I did need to buy an insert thank to my high arches.

I was lucky to find this shoe at Nordstrom Off The Rack on sale for $49.99, otherwise I would not have bought a pair of Nikes for $90+ adding a custom insole.

The best shoe for me has been any Asics gel model. Yeah, they aren't as "cool" looking and aren't as in your face "LOOK AT ME! I'M A RUNNER!" as Nike's, but I don't need to use another custom insole with them, they last, and they don't destroy my feet. :)

Searching for comfortable shoes has been an obsessive multi-year quest, particularly for walking several miles per day (I've used a pedometer and average 10 miles per day on the job) on concrete floors, and often in refrigerated rooms. I've spent a fortune in footwear for work. All of the various "work shoes" I've tried, even those in sneaker style, Crocs, etc.. are too hard in the soles, and produce aching knees, legs, feet, and lower back. Also many sneakers and athletic shoes were painful for me to wear all day.. Cold air stiffens fabric and other materials on footwear which compounds the problem. Furthermore, most footwear nowadays are too narrow in the toes, causing burning toe pain & sores where the toes are crammed & rubbed together.

I got these ASICS in onyx/lemon/fuschia and was thrilled that they fit beautifully, providing ample space for me to wiggle and spread my toes out. They required no break-in time. The best part is the extra thick sole which is very cushiony and which makes me enjoy walking. Truly comfortable shoes either allow you to not think about your feet, or else make you feel like walking more; these make me want to walk because they feel so great. I have high arches, and these support my arches beautifully.

In addition to walking several miles per day, I have to stand on concrete floors in between my numerous trips around the huge building. Standing on the concrete floors is also comfortable for me in these ASICS. Because the soles are so thick, my feet don't get cold in the refrigerated room where the floors are very cold.

I love them so much that I ordered them in titanium/powder blue. I'm tempted to buy extras for when my 2 pairs finally wear out...

I realize that everyone's feet are different, and that what one person finds to be comfortable another person finds to be uncomfortable. Higher prices don't always guarantee comfort. I've spent a lot of money over the years on expensive shoes that were claimed to be comfortable, but that hurt my feet and made my job miserable. I also bought a pair of $32.00 Skechers that were heaven on my feet.

These are awesome hiking shoes for the price. I went on a moderately strenuous hike from 6'200 to approx 8'900 elevation 8 1/2 mile hike and I did not get a single blister or sore feet! I would recommend to anyone (my feet are a little on avg to wide side, I dont have to wear wide shoes normally but if a shoe is narrow it's always to tight. If you have narrow feet these might not work as well for you) They are light weight the soles are thick I did not feel rocks under my feet although there were plenty. Only down side is they do not have as much of the extra support I was expecting for an over pronator. I have already recommended to the group I went hiking with.

I've always worn running shoes when traveling or taking a long walk, and this one didn't disappoint. They stay true to size (I'm size 7.5) and didn't really need breaking in. The ankle cushion was okay, but the back cushion might be higher than your socks (especially if you love short socks like I did). The color was also very similar to the picture. My only crit would be about the length of the laces, but you could always get a longer pair yourself. I'm gonna wear this pair of shoes for a light hiking in Niagara next week, and I'll update this review afterward.

I've worn this pair when going on a light hike in Niagara Park and a non-stop two-week city-hopping. On average, I was on my feet for 6-8 hours a day, and these shoes were nothing but a wonder. I've had no complaints whatsoever, and my toes were perfectly fine (usually they got blisters but not this time!). Perhaps the back ankle support would be too hard they scratched the skin for some people, but you could always avoid it by wearing thick socks.
