I saw these at my local athletic apparel store and loved the lightweight feel to them. Also liked the breathability of the shoes. Although I'm still not convinced that less padding is better than the bulkier running shoes I've normally used, these are a good shoe for going in that direction.

I've worn Karhu Strongs for two years -for crossfit workouts -and find them the most comfortable. It's almost like they propel me forward. I recommend trying them on; after only a few steps they'll probably feel different than any other shoe you've used.

I bought a pair of these shoes back in the fall of 2004 for work. I was on my feet for 6 hours at a time and these shoes remained comfortable and allowed me to move (hunkering down to reach things on lower shelves) while looking professional.
I have since worn them to job interviews and to my various other jobs.
Seven years later I still have the same paira little scuffed up at the toes but they are now my walking shoes for walks in our woods. As you can see from the pictures they don't have traction enough to use on trails with any sort of incline (Though I've done that to) but they provide enough protection and support for a little rougher wear.
I am very happy with my pair for comfort, durability, and value. I was looking for a replacement for them and I am thrilled to see my old walking shoes are still being made and even better: cheaper then when I first purchased them!
After spending a few moments on-line converting my woman's shoe size into a Euro size and then back into a men's size, I ordered the men's version of this shoe from this site. I am very pleased with the result. The only difference between this shoe and my old women's version is the label in the tongue that says "men". They look the same. They measure the same. They weigh the same. And best of all, they fit and feel identical to the women's shoe.
I'd give this shoe ten stars if I could, but shame on Rockport for giving up on women.

Since a recommendation after back surgery 23 years ago I have worn this same shoe ---in every variation in which it is produced. I hate recommendations written by someone who has had the product for just days, weeks or even a few months. Most items we need time to evaluate. This shoe I KNOW!! It may not be the most stylish but it has comfort, great construction and the fact that it holds up so very well in its favor. It is a great walking shoe. If you spend most of the day on your feet than this is the shoe for you.Best Deals on Rockport Women's World Tour Classic Walking Shoe
I walked all over Europe in the women's version of the World Tour Classic, as did my husband in the men's version. When I tried to replace them, however, I found that Rockport had discontinued the women's line. You can still find a few left-overs on sale, including on this site, but my size isn't one of them. When I started to compare my husband's shoe with mine, they looked identical except for size, so I called a reputable shoe store, and they told me there is indeed no difference at all. After spending a few moments on-line converting my woman's shoe size into a Euro size and then back into a men's size, I ordered the men's version of this shoe from this site. I work in a library and I'm on my feet a lot. I've been wearing this style for more than ten years. I buy a new pair every year or two. It's a very well made, sturdy, comfortable shoe. Orthotics work well in it because you can take the original insoles out.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Rockport Women's World Tour Classic Walking Shoe

This shoe is great for those who like a lightweight, cushioned minimalist running shoe and it comes in some great colors! I ordered a half size up because they run small.

I run 4-6 miles a day, I go through shoes like crazy. This is my newest pair. I like how light weight they are. They provide good support. Longest run int them 12 miles. The fabric is really light, so running through puddles left me with muddy socks, but I can deal with that.Best Deals on ASICS Women's GEL-Fuji Racer Running Shoe

The item was offered as a size 6.5 but when it arrived, they were a size 6.0. Luckily, they fit. However, I expected more from these Zignano sandals. I love the ZigNano athletic shoes and recently bought another pair but the sandals are severely lacking in cushioning and comfort. Would not recommend.I returned the item. the sizing is way large, and it foot bed is not comfortable at all, not what I expected from Reebok

I have tried the F10, F30, and F50, synthetic, leather, all of them. This is by far the best. It helps you run extremely fast, helps control the ball easily, and has a great shot. They are expensive, but I got mine for $60 on ebay. An important thing to know is if you are a size 10 shoe for example, and you want to put in the support that comes with it, you might want to get a half size bigger. 10 is my perfect size but if I put the support in the shoe is way too tight. I am a 10.5 Nike so that should give you an idea of what size to get. If you do not want to use the support, get half a size smaller than your Nike size, same size as an Adidas shoe. If you want the support, get the same size as a Nike shoe or half a size more than a Adidas. The shoes are exactly what i asked for. no problems at all regarding quality, defects, etc. Everything is included. The only problem i received it about 1-2 weeks late. Not sure whether this is due to the delay in my country's post office or whatever but other than that i am satisfied. Tbhe customer service is also top notch. I contacted them through email and i got a response in about less than a day. I will definitely consider buying again.

Great shoe. Love the style and construction is great. One caveat though. If you are used to other style Keen's that have a big toe box, these don't. i would go a half size bigger than normal.

so i love keen and i chose these shoes because normally keen fits me well. i still gave them a 3 because of the style and quality however i had to return them because they run small. order larger size if you're also used to keen sizes that run big. these don't. cute shoes though. they look kind of gray in the picture but they are black.Best Deals on KEEN Women's Tryon Waterproof Trail Running Shoe
I needed a shoe for trail running that would keep my feet dry and so far, this Keen waterproof trail shoe is working great. It also is very comfortable and seems to run pretty true to size. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 in a running shoe because I like a roomy toebox so I ordered the 8, it was a bit large but I added an extra foot pad and it is fine. I have slightly skinny heels so my only issue is that the right shoe slips ever so slightly but not enough to be a problem. This is my second pair of Keen's and so far they are hard to beat for comfort! Seems to be a quality made shoe and on those cold dewey mornings it is keeping my feet dry.Honest reviews on KEEN Women's Tryon Waterproof Trail Running Shoe
This is a great shoe just like all the Keens I have purchased. A little narrower than the others that I have but good for me because I need a narrow shoe. I ordered 1/2 size larger which I always do. Didn't have to get used to them, comfortable the first time I wore them. To me Keens are the best shoe out there. This is a great waterproof trail running shoe which is as light as a sneaker! Finally, no more heavy trail shoes. I bought two pairsthe dark green w/ lime green trim and grey w/ blue. They are very good looking. And even better I snagged each for $77-$90. I tested one pair yesterday in pouring rain and both feet & socks stayed dry. I also walked through high wet grass. I do recommend ordering a half size larger than your normal size to ensure proper fit.Best Womens New Balance Zip 8505 Running Shoe Deals

I run about 3 miles but I have knee/hip problems on top of my flat feet so I am very VERY picky when it comes to running shoes. These are by far the best running shoes ever! These are true to size and have the best cushion. I am not crazy about a lot of the color combos but it's the cushion that sold me. The cushion will wear out depending how much you run & mine wore out after about a year.

These were purchased for my fiancee who has to wear protective shoes on her job. They are nice and lightweight compared to anything else she has had. The last pair she had lasted over a year, which is a long time for the use she puts them under. She also wears them as casual shoes occasionally.
Five stars. Fast shipment. Good communication; EH sent a follow-up email to determine if my purchase was satisfactory. How often does that happen? I shop on Amazon frequently, and this is the first time (in my memory) that I've been contacted by a seller.
My review of the product, Wolverine Men's Amherst Composite-Toe EH Trail Running Shoes:
My reasons for purchasing this shoe:
1. My past experience with the brand Wolverine has been positive. I bought a pair of Wolverine work boots 5&1/2 years ago, and they are still useable. They are beat-up, covered in paint splatter, laminate adhesive over-spray and grass stains, but the tread is still mostly intact. The uppers have not separated from the tread.
2. The composite safety toe; I'm all done with steel toe footwear. Steel radiates cold in the winter, carbon fiber does not, and the weight of cf is lighter.
3. Great price compared to other shoes in this catagory.
As for the new Wolverine shoes; I've worn them now for 7 days of work. I work as a courier 5 days a week, 10 hours a day. I jump in and out of a truck 50 or more times a day, so the shoes are going to experience a lot of abuse. So far the shoes have been very comfortable, the size is accurate, and they are better looking in person than in the pictures online. The gunmetal gray webbing is closer to black (which I prefer).
The one negative thing I can say about this shoe is concerning a part of the tread. The rear outside corner of the tread has a triangular section (1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 1") with small parallel "grips"; each about 3/32"w x 3/32"h x 1-1/2" long. I'd say about a third of the length of these "grips" on the outside portion of the triangle have already shorn off (on both shoes). I hope that this is not a sign of things to come. I'm not a foot-dragger, and whenever I jump out of the cab, I land on my toes. The rest of the tread looks as good as new.
As for longevity; only time will tell. I hope these shoes have at least half the life of my last pair of Wolverines. The last two pairs of safety shoes I owned were complete garbage. One pair of Converse lasted 8 months, and one pair of Golden Retrievers lasted 6 (with most of the GR's tread worn down by 3 months). Both shoes suffered tread/upper separation.

My son is very active on his feet. We typically by Walmart-type shoes for him because he is so hard on them and wears them out in about 2-3 months. We happened on these (in the wrong size) at a clearance sale in a local boot store. We bought them because they were 1) cheap, 2) Wolverine, 3) steel-toed. He wore them and they proved to be near indestrcutable (pardon the exaggeration.) His only complaint was, of course, the fit was wrong so I ordered them from Amazon in the right size and he loves them. I will probably get a pair myself. As a firefighter they meet safety standards around the station and will be more comfortable and lighter than boots.Best Deals on Wolverine Men's Amherst Composite-Toe EH Trail Running Shoes

I bought these for work (of course) I like the style and look of the shoe. I didnt want a traditional looking steel toe and thats what I got. They look way better in person than in the picture. I bought mine a half a size bigger at 10 1/2 in order to account for feet swelling and so I can put an arch support in them. When I first wore them I was ok then later on they started to pinch my toe. Luckily, we got snow here and when I got snow on them and got them wet it accelerated the breaking in process because now they are as comfortable as my sneakers. Love the shoe, very comfortable cushion, made me a fan of Wolverine shoes. I suggest if you dont know your size to go try on a pair at a retailer to make sure, thats what I did.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Wolverine Men's Amherst Composite-Toe EH Trail Running Shoes

I am a big big boy. 300+ pounds of pure love :-) No this is not a personals ad here. For the last few years, I have had lots of trouble with foot pain & have been changing shoes often to find something that works long term for me. I visit a Chiropractor once a week & was just randomly talking when he suggested I go to a proper shoe store & get my gait analyzed. I did so & after trying on 5-6 pairs of shoes, the shoe we narrowed down to was the Brooks Beast in 2E. What a miracle of a shoe this is. I am no expert on quality & no I do not run. If I did so, I would be much lighter. I need a shoe I can wear all day, walk around moderate amount & not have my feet kill me at the end of the day. This does just that. It comes in 2 colors & I own both. These are the only 2 shoes I wear everyday day in & day out.
Last year I bought the Brooks '11, which was the first time I've ever wore a Brooks brand shoe. At first I was unimpressed, but reviews said that it may take time to break them in and they were right. After a few weeks the shoes became the ...not sure if they were the most comfortable or second most comfortable shoe I've ever wore. New Balance 993's were also very nice.
Anyway, after 8 months, it was time for a new pair. I was going to order the same pair, but I saw that a newer version was available. The new version was a tab bit more expensive, but I liked the new style and figured it would probably be superior to my last pair in every way. But I was wrong.
I ordered a pair through Zappos, put them on, and went for a walk. I immediately noticed that they were more narrow and my feet felt a little cramped, but I figured I would break them in and they'd stretch out. And for the most part, they did stretch out, but not quite like I wanted. After about a month, they were still kinda uncomfortable. I could tell they were completely broken in.
They also seem to have tore up quicker. It's been about 4 months, and I think I need a new pair of shoes. The pleasing style of the shoe has maintained from the Brooks '11, but everything else seems to have diminished slightly. I think I'm going to try the Asics Kayano 19 next and perhaps try the Brooks '13 when it comes out, which I think will officially determine my opinion of the brand.
I think for $140 there are way better shoes out there.

I have bad feet and I tear up my shoes rather quickly, so I buy a new pair every 5-8 months. I don't make a lot of money, I don't have mush to spend on extras, but comfort is one thing I always splurge on. I figure $300 a year for something I will be spending nearly half my time in is money well spent. I am wide footed and wear 10.5 4E. Decent wide width shoes are hard to find. People with wide feet are more limited. Most shoes run a little narrow. All Nike shoes I've bought in the past were too narrow. Some lines of shoes don't offer wide shoes and even some brands don't offer wide shoes. So, when I shop for shoes, I try to find the perfect pair for me, and I spend days researching shoes online.Last year I bought the Brooks '11, which was the first time I've ever wore a Brooks brand shoe. I seem to have aberrant ankles which attach to my perfectly flat feet and overpronate most of the time. However, my shoes wear out on the lateral aspect of the heel-as if I oversupinate. There are no complaints about the company that shipped the boots at all, they were great. My main complaint is with Belleville. Their boots all fit funny for some reason. I started off with a 4.5R (men's) but they were a little tight in the toes, so I bought these 4.5W hoping they would give me a little more wiggle room. I swear they fit the same way. I even put the soles of the R and W to each other and they visibily look the same. Belleville has really gone down hill lately.Product shipped timely, good company to buy from. This product is top notch work boots. My friend in England asked me to buy these for him and I liked them so much I bought myself a pair.
