Great shoe. I am a flat footed runner and had plantar fasciitis in the past. I run well in these. I trialled shoe inserts from local sporting store and found these aren't needed.
Looks as if it was not original.
Also it look almost a month for them to get the shoes.

This shoe has an extra thick insole which gives you comfort and support. However, the back of my heel keeps trying to come out of my shoe so I have to tie the shoelaces very tight. The top layer of the mesh is thin and creases easily. The shoe is also a little heavier than I expected and not as flexible as the name sounds. Other than that it is a pretty good shoe.very well made, looks amazing. However its too narrow for me. Usually I wear 11 4E shoes(12 D still feel narrow) .

These are very cute x-fit shoes. Unfortunately they seem to run a little small so I had to return them. Very quick refund great company to work with.

For extended treks with a heavy pack, I'd probably want something a bit stouter, but this is a great boot for what I need it for: camping, hiking, scrabbling around rocky lake shores, and working on our steep and heavily wooded property in North Georgia. Substantial support, but still extremely comfortable, and they breath well. Good looks, good construction, good price.
The Trail Seeker has tread that is identical to the Dusty Trails, which is good. The Trail Seeker appears similar to the Dusty Trails but looks to be somewhat lesser quality. The eye hooks are solid vs the flexible eye rings on my older boots and I suspect more likely to break (of course I hope I've judged that wrong).
They are comfortable and haven't even been fully broken in yet. They do feel very much like my old boots and have the same excellent traction. Time will tell if they are as durable as my older boots but my guess is they will take the abuse I dish out for at least a few years.

I tried lots of different casual hiking boots for everyday as well as work wear over the years. Most of them looked great, and were comfortable at first . . . but they all wore out quickly. I bought K2 when they were making boots, Nike and others. The Timberland boots are awesome. Very waterproof, very comfortable, and last quite a while. I usually wear them out in 2 or 3 seasons of wear. I use them for carpentry, yard work, daily wear in the fall and winter. I like to keep a "dress" pair that I wear for going out. Great boots. In constant rotation in my closet. Excellent value!Best Deals on Timberland Men's TRAIL SEEKER Durable Lace Up Fashion Boots
I have a pair of Timberland boots model Dusty Trails that I've used for five years. I've put them through a lot of work and abuse, mostly working around my homestead that is mostly steep fields and forest. They no longer look pretty but are still intact with plenty of tread. These have been extremely comfortable and durable boots so I thought I would get another pair. Well, the Dusty Trails is no longer available and after six months watching ebay I saw only two pair show up (but not my size). So I decided to look for an alternative. I checked out several Timberland boots that have good ratings but I didn't want to spend $80+ so I went with the Trail Seeker. The Trail Seeker has tread that is identical to the Dusty Trails, which is good. These shoes run very small. I am a size 8 in women and I ordered a size 9, but they were still too tight. I contacted customer service so they can help me return them, but they want me to pay for the return. The shoes are very nice though, but they come in a white plastic bag instead of box. Never buying from this company again. Customer service is terrible.

I bought this shoe for use in the gym and running. The size ran true for thin socks or no socks that the shoe is designed for, and the 4mm drop supports my foot just enough for cardio work.
The shoe is extremely breathable, all of the mesh is thin enough to see through both sides.
My only complaint is with the no-sew assembly. When I received my pair the inside was very tacky/sticky, and some of the material on the outside of the shoe was peeling off and needed to be pressed back together.
Sizing: Many reviews on this model and the earlier versions all recommended to order a 1/2 size larger. In Nike running shoes I normally wear a 12 and are borderline small (finding 12 1/2 in Nike's can be a challenge). The Brooks Glycerin running shoe a 12 was perfect with a 12 1/2 slightly too large. I ordered the 12 1/2 in the New Balance MX20v3 and it fits perfect. I have no prior experience with New Balance to compare.
Fit and Comfort: You barely notice this shoe when wearing it due to both it's light weight and conforming fit. The shoe easily snugs around your foot when laced and provides good lateral support. The sole and insert provide some cushioning while still allowing you to feel the surface. I do not plan to use these shoes for running, only weight lifting. Traction on the sole is good and had no issues with various leg training movements (lunges, leg press, squats etc). The fabric covering around the foot is breathable to help keep your feet dry.
Quality: The pair I received had no visible flaws and the shoe seems well made. As this is a very light weight shoe time will tell how long they hold up relative to the price.
Summary: I would recommend this shoe if you are considering a light weight or minimal type shoe. It looks more normal than some of the 5 toe style minimalist shoes.
Like: Weight, stability (for what the shoe is), minimal heel to toe drop, openness and breathability, looks, balance.
Dislike: I might like additional grip from the tread.
recommend for: crossfit, indoor gym work
Update:
I've put a ~3 months of weightlifting-centric crossfit on these shoes now. They've held up well. As an additional dislike, I'd say that I feel the inward angle of and extra room/material on the toe is a bit extreme. I'm not sure if I could claim that the shoe slows my sprints, but I don't think the sole outline is quite right for running, at least for my form. The top-down view of the shoe doesn't suggest the extreme angling, but the bottom-up view (showing the sole of the shoe) does. I wouldn't remove another star, but I would revise my purchase, having this experience.
Update 2:
After 9 months, I'd say the traction is only a concern on surfaces which would be slick for any shoe; it's not an issue on tractioned rubber (e.g. diamond plate patterned), astroturf, asphalt, or textured concrete (e.g. outside, or sidewalk). A stickier compound may still be an improvement. I still see the sole profile as a bit odd, though it's a 4-star shoe. I use this shoe in a hot, dry, often dusty environment.
Highly recommend.

I have used traditional running shoes (Brooks Glycerin) for some time for both weight resistance and cardio training and decided to try a more minimal shoe with a lower heel drop and am pleased.Sizing: Many reviews on this model and the earlier versions all recommended to order a 1/2 size larger. I rated 4 stars as I think this is a great shoe, but I'd like to have a little little more traction. On surfaces such as basketball courts, laminate, or smooth finish concrete, I feel this shoe lacks a little grip. It seems like the tread pattern is alright, but that the compound or surface finish of the compound isn't as sticky as I might like. The shoe is very light and airy, and I think it has enough support for the movements I intend to do with it. It provides more lateral movement stability and control than fivefigers, which I was using before this shoe. The shoe seems to fit fairly true to size, and laces up snugly on my foot. I'm only a few workouts in, but it seems like the construction will hold up well to indoor use.Like: Weight, stability (for what the shoe is), minimal heel to toe drop, openness and breathability, looks, balance.

Started doing crossfit a few months back. Did not feel like spending $150 on Oly Lifting shoes and another $70 on sneakers. In the Minimus the heal is much more stable than in my vibram's, they are super light. Work great for rope climbs, oly lifting, hill sprints and my double unders have improved a whole lot since I got these.Highly recommend.
Review of ZEMgear 360 Ninja Split Toe - Running Series

I'm writing a review here because there doesn't seem to be a place to do that directly on Zem's site...and maybe my comments will get a little more notice here vice their broken contact/customer support system...more on that later.
First, I purchased these shoes coming from experience with Vibram FF's (Sprint, KSO, and Bikila), but no other minimalist style shoes. I love the fit and feel of the KSO and Bikila (Sprint not-so-much), but when I saw the 360's I decided I had to see how they compare, esp being cheaper and with the unique split-toe design.
Initial thoughts They look nice (IMHO), fit well (normally wear 11.5 so ordered up to 12 for the first pair), the bands seem to snug the shoes to my feet (with socks), material and sole are very flexible, great "road-feel", slightly warmer than the VFF's, easier to take on and off (esp with tabi (split-toe socks)), and all around an impressive shoe. My feet are "average" and roughly identical in length...no issues with rubbing/pinching on the 12's (even with moderate heel spurs).
How do I use them? I run moderately (mostly paved trails/sidewalk/some light offroad) but also use them as an everyday shoe...errands, physical training, driving, you name it. They're just a comfortable easy to use shoe with great feel. Be warned though...you will feel rocks and other objects through them if you don't watch your step. I still love my VFF, but if I'm in a hurry and don't want to mess with five toe socks or velcro, these are what I grab. (And they're money at the airport.)
But...as much as I enjoy these there are a few glaring cons that make me hesitate to recommend the Ninja 360.
First, after using the 12's for about 2 months the left big toe tread began delaminating/separating from the sole. This is a huge hit. I had run and used them lightly during this time...maybe 40 miles running at most on asphalt/concrete/paved and sandy areas, and walking around. I was deployed and was outside the Amazon return period, so opted to try gluing the tread back down. This was a very temporary fix, and I've had to try different glues and re-apply several times since then. Considering the limited use of the shoe when this issue developed, this is an unacceptable flaw. Currently my repair is holding, but I shouldn't have to start repairing my tread after only 2 months of light use. Could I get them replaced under warranty? I don't know. I thought I tried that, but so far no luck. (slight sarcasm, see below)
Also, I had been wearing either "flip-flop" socks or Injinjis with the 360's, which helped the 12 fit more snugly. However, after ordering some AFX no-show socks, which are very thin, I noticed the shoes slipping on my feet while sprinting. It could be partially my form, but I decided to see if an 11 would fit better with thin or no socks. I wanted a glove-like fit. So I ordered some 11's (direct from ZEM this time).
First pair of 11's, the right shoe fit perfectly. It was like a glove; exactly what I wanted. The left shoe, however, was sewn shorter in the big toe. The best I can describe is the material was overlapped too far and pinched more material into the toe of the shoe. So while the overall fit of the left was great, the big toe was too short and there was extra bunched material inside rubbing on the end of my toe. No good.
And to top it off...right out of the box the left big toe tread was delaminated for about 1/4 inch from the tip. (That's 2 for 2 with tread issues. A red flag for me!)
As this pair was purchased directly from Zem I e-mailed them about returning/exchanging. I got a strange e-mail that looked like my message e-mailed back to me, but no confirmation or acknowledgement. I tried again. Same thing. I waited...Sent another message. Nothing. Finally I received a reply, but it was obvious the individual didn't fully read or understand the issues. (I guess my bad for listing the problems with both the 11's and 12's together) But after that human contact I heard nothing. I sent a couple more e-mails. This stretched on over a couple months. Mind you I had other things going on and didn't have the time to keep e-mailing over and over. But it was like my e-mails were being eaten.
Eventually I did try again and the same individual told me a replacement pair had been sent several weeks earlier. (Of course no one had told me this) When they finally arrived I tried them on. This time the tread looked firmly attached on both shoes, but the left big toe exhibited the same pinched/shortened toe pocket. Everything else was pretty much perfect, but the slightly shorter toe and extra material inside the end made for an uncomfortable fit, and I'm sure there would be a nice blister if I tried running in them. I wore them around the my room for an extended period just to make sure, but no go.
I emailed Zem back with the news. The original ticket had been closed and a new individual was helping me, but it was again obvious they weren't quite getting the issues. After several in-depth e-mails with photos and no real resolution I haven't heard back from Zem for about a month. I don't know if I dare try again. (Zem, if you read these...help)
To summarize, I really like the concept of this shoe and overall the 12's have served me well the past 6 months (self-repair frustration aside). And heck, I even want to help make them better by providing feedback to Zem about what works and what doesn't, but there appear to be some serious issues with tread adhesion and a little slop in quality control. And if your issue falls outside the scope of Amazon's return policy or you order direct from Zem, good luck working with customer service. I recommend you try the shoes in person if you have that luxury, both for fit and a good inspection of the tread. Hoping my frustrating experience is an isolated case, but proceed at your own risk. =)
1. Super light, great for traveling
2. Very portable/foldable great for traveling
3. Easy to wash (great considering you dont wear socks with it
4. SUPER COMFORTBLE
5. GREAT for running, you find yourself running for no reason
Ok first, great for traveling, there's no reason to not take them anywhere. I'm a guy, but i bet it's great for girls to keep in their purse when they're out in high heels but want to come back in comfortable shoes. You can roll them up, wash them easily all graet stuff.
Now about the comfort, GOD i have to walk a lot while i'm traveling, but when i have these on i NEVER GET TIRED. Moreover if my feet are tired from aesthetic shoes (aka regular shoes that serve the sole function of looking good at the detriment of everything that has to do with the FUNCTION that feet perform) the zem shoes REJUVINATE your feet after a tiring day.
RUNNING= WOW you feel like a sports car with these on. You constantly want to rev the engine. You feel SO AGILE in these shoes, you can blitz past a crowd (like a kid). You feel like you're on a motorcycle.I got the split shoes because I heard they dont let your feet slip around like the round toes do (i've never tried those so i dont know, but the split toes do NOT slip)
Draw backs:
1. When it's wet, the cloth upper soaks in water (but really who cares, not like youre wearing socks)
2. If your pants are loose they are going to drag on the floor as they would when youre barefoot (solution: buy pants that fit, you slob)
3. THE MAIN DRAWBACK= THEY ARE UGLY UGLY UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!! (only for the split shoe). You and your crab feet WILL get stared at wherever you go
Here's why the are ugly-it's not the split toe itself but because (to save cost) they simply use the same sole for the round and split toe, and simply slice the split toe. What this does is leave an extra corner of fabric and rubber in the corners of the split which gives a crab claw look to your feet. If the sole was rounded off around the split it would look a LOT better, but i understand they like to save cost and use a single mould for the sole.
Anyway all in all, no regrets!
I've had heel problems for some time, so I tried the 5 Fingers, which were nice, but a real hassle to get all 5 toes in. The ZEMgear just fit. It's still winter so I've been wearing them with toe socks (they also work with regular socks just fine). They have not gotten stinky with socks on.
The first time I wore them for a one mile walk downtown my feet were aching! After a half mile of running my calves were unbelievably sore and stayed that way for about two weeks. But after lots of short runs (1 mile max) and consistent walking in them, I just ran 4 miles today for the first time in 2 years. My feet feel great, they feel stronger, my calves are stronger, and I'm probably walking right for the first time since I was a kid.
Update:
These will last for about 3-4 months of casual running. They are not durable, but I still love them.
I wear these with tabi socks, and I consider being able to wear socks an advantage. However, even with socks my ZEMs are a tiny bit big for me, and I hope ZEMgear will make plans to create smaller sizes.
Finally, the taping around the opening can get frayed at the ends still room for improvement there.
EDIT: My new favorites are now the ZEMgear Terra, which have a more robust sole suitable for both indoor and outdoor practice. I could not practice on rough asphalt pavements in the 360's because the traction pads would start to peel off they really are better for relatively smooth surfaces. In the Terras, however, I can practice movements which require turning on a weighted leg without fear of damaging the soles (other than normal wear and tear, that is). The Terras soles also wrap up around the sides a little, just enough to protect the toes and keep the sides from abrading. I still enjoy the 360's, but I now use them for indoor-only practice.
First, I purchased these shoes coming from experience with Vibram FF's (Sprint, KSO, and Bikila), but no other minimalist style shoes. Super comfy, easy to slip on and off, and after three weeks my feet feel great for the first time in years. I have wide feet and these feel way better than other "minimal" shoes like the Saucony Hattori. These will change how you walk and run though, you cannot land on your heel in them.I've had heel problems for some time, so I tried the 5 Fingers, which were nice, but a real hassle to get all 5 toes in.
Honest reviews on ZEMgear 360 Ninja Split Toe - Running Series
After a few hours of use the seams around the split toe on both shoes began unravelling. I think that these shoes are not made well enough for their intended purpose.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for ZEMgear 360 Ninja Split Toe - Running Series
I wear these for indoor tai chi (taijiquan) practice, and so far they've been great. The split toe style allows the foot to expand naturally, and the lack of extraneous padding helps with balance and flexibility. They are also durable enough that I can walk to practice in these if the weather is dry. Traction is very good without being sticky. These are also much more affordable than most other minimalist alternatives popular in my class such as the Vibram FiveFingers. The 360's are an improvement over the classic style Ninjas with less noticeable inside seams, a more molded shape, and much more attractive styling.I wear these with tabi socks, and I consider being able to wear socks an advantage.

I teach a kickboxing class 2-3 times per week and take a circuit training class 3x a week, both of which involve a lot of high impact moves. I started experiencing heel pain 5 months ago and have been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. I did everything the doctor ordered, changed my shoes and started to wear the Gel Intensity 2. Heel pain is now gone!! I even did a 2-day step aerobic instructor training in these shoes and did not experience any pain the entire time. that's TWO days of jumping on and off a step!! Last night, I stupidly taught class in my non-Asics cross-trainers solely for their looks and guess what? The heel pain came back!! Needless to say, I'm going to continue to wear my Asics and retire those other shoes. I do wish these came with more color options (hence the 4-star rating). If the Gel Intensity comes out with more colors, I will be one of the first to buy more!

These are great cross training shoes. I got them to do Jillian Micheal's Body Revolutions and they offer great support for the jumping and training you do. They have an inside support that you can really appreciated when jumping side to side.Best Deals on ASICS Women's GEL-Intensity 2 Cross-training Shoe
I've worn the gel intensity for several years replacing every 6 months for aerobic dance. This shoe is nothing compared the original! The sole is shaped like a running shoe instead of a training shoe which will be a problem for lateral movements. The lacing system isn't as effective and the collar is cumbersome almost like a shoe within a shoe. The only positive comment I can make is the good arch support. Asics, why try to improve on the best?? Bring back the original!Honest reviews on ASICS Women's GEL-Intensity 2 Cross-training Shoe
I have always been pleased with the support and cushioning of Asics shoes, and this cross-trainer did not disappoint. I use it for high-intensity step aerobics, and my feet are very grateful.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for ASICS Women's GEL-Intensity 2 Cross-training Shoe
I looked at the reviews of many pairs of cross trainers before deciding on these. First of all, I really like Asics. I had a pair I wore for step aerobics and other fitness classes for several years and the tread on the shoes was barely touched. My feet pronate and require a lot of stability so I don't injure my ankles or knees. This shoe offers a lot of lateral support and arch support but at the same time a lot of cushioning. They are very comfortable and my feet don't hurt at the end of a workout. There is enough room in the toebox for my feet to swell during a workout. Unlike other stability shoes, this one is not too heavy. As for the fit, I found it to be a true fit, even with the ortholite sockliner for moisture management. However, I recommend that you try them on and experience walking in them before purchasing them just to be sure. Finally, I find them to be attractive shoes and I had had my share of compliments on them. I found these shoes hard to come by and I am considering buying another pair before they are replaced by a newer version.ASICS Men's Gel-Phoenix 4 Running Shoe Reviews

These are the most comfortable sneakers I have ever owned. I have serious plantar fasciatis, caused by flat feet and over pronation issues. I like shoes that are soft, and have a more declined rear heal, versus one that props your heel up. These definitely do this. The shoes are also very light. My previous pair of asics were a model specific to plantar fascia issues, but they were much more bulky. Those also worked great, but I find these softer, yet still supportive. And the Gel heel is not a gimmick, it really does lesson the impact of workouts. I am doing P90 x and found the Gel heel really useful, and better than my previous pair of asics.
When I find a shoe I like, I order more than one. I got two pairs of these for the price of one pair of the plantar fascia models sold by asics.

Shoes are very comfortable. I wear a size 11. Ordered a 11 tried them on and the shoes are to snug to my toe so it hurts the little bone by my toe. So l suggest get one or 2 sizes bigger. So now I'm a little upset I have to send them back and wait for a new pair. Great shoes for the price. First pair of asiscs I used Nike my whole running time. Now I won't never buy a pair of Nike running shoes. Just not good as asiscs.Best Deals on ASICS Men's Gel-Phoenix 4 Running Shoe
I run about 1,000 miles a year and these shoes work great for me. Obviously everyone's feet are different, but these shoes are a good value for your money.Honest reviews on ASICS Men's Gel-Phoenix 4 Running Shoe
Asics are the best running shoes and this pair is no exception. You can feel the gel right away if you compare it to an older or non-gel pair of Asics, and I wasn't sure I was going to like it. But after putting some miles on it I can't tell any difference. It fits great and looks awesome too. I was worried after looking at the picture that the Electric Blue would look more purple, but after seeing the shoe in person it's definitely blue and not purple so that's good.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for ASICS Men's Gel-Phoenix 4 Running Shoe
I love these shoes. I would agree with another reviewer about the insole moving a lot, but it's nothing a bit of gorilla tape can't fix. While a lot of other running shoes cause me pain after a long run these shoes float me on a cloud of gel. They have a firm middle to them that helps my wide flat feet. Can't say enough about these shoes. If you have foot pain after exercise I suggest you try these out.Discount Adidas Superstar 2 Mens Basketball Shoes G56082

My fiancé loves adidas. He is in need of new shoes and since these look similar to what he already has we got them they are well made and look nice. The blue is really bright, so if you don't like that then be wary. We did end up returning them due to the fact that they are narrow. He has never ordered a wide before but would have to do so for these shoes. Over all a good product and excelent customer service.

Timberland once made fantastic boat shoes. They used Vibram for the soles and they had true deck soles that lasted for 5+ yrs. But they lost there way. Now the "boat" shoe they produce is not fit for the deck. They've padded everything and built up the insole so getting them wet is an ugly affair. These are now common street shoes. The "Classic" had me hoping for more throwback than just the basic style. Get me back to 1995 so I can buy 10 pair of the real thing.
The soles have traction build into them, which was nice for a boat shoe. Unfortunately the soles split along the traction pretty quickly. I had these shoes maybe 4 months before the sole split on one shoe, and the other split soon after. The stitching on the top of one of the shoes also started giving out pretty quickly.
All in all, sharp looking, but the lowest overall quality boat shoe I've ever worn.
I've previously owned about a dozen pairs of them (Bass, Dexter, Sperry and one pair of Brand X) all of which were, as I said, almost immediately comfortable.
This pair of shoes is different which I put down to two reasons, stiff upper and hard sole but let's do the bad stuff later; first the good stuff.
1) These shoes look reasonably well made.
2) These shoes are not entirely unattractive.
Yep, that's about it. They don't look awful and they look pretty well made. I like a different toe shape and they are Made in the Dominican Republic (at least it's not China) so they probably aren't as well made as they could be if they were Made In USA.
The bad stuff is that the upper part of the right shoe near where the tongue meets the body immediately dug in to my foot and caused me to take them off after only about an hour. The next time I wore them this issue was not nearly so pronounced but after standing in them constantly for a couple of hours the soles of my feet were actually sore from the stiff, unforgiving soles. My third time wearing them was less uncomfortable but I was still quite surprised at how uncomfortable they remain and that it is taking so long for these shoes to break in. It is possible that this means that they are going to last a long time but I have to say that my Bass deck shoes lasted for a couple of years and were immediately comfortable (which is probably why these Made in USA shoes were taken out of production, they were just too good). I'll be surprised if these turn out to be as durable, and greatly disappointed if they remain uncomfortable.
I'll check in with a comment in a few months, perhaps.

Honest reviews on Timberland Men's Classic Boat Shoe
I've been wearing this Timberland shoe for the past 50 years. The Timberland Classic Boat Shoe. Probably gone through at least 15 pair of them. When they were worn out for street wear, they'd go in the garage for yard work and new ones would take their place in the closet. But never again. This last pair really showed me what happens to a company when they no longer care about their customers. The lacing is cheap, the sole is junk, and even the insole is just a flimsy piece of some kind of cloth that bunches up each time you slip your foot into the shoe. This shoe morphed from a true classic to a piece of junk in the last 5 years. If I could go back in time, I'd buy 20 pair from 10 years ago but I wouldn't buy another pair of these today on a bet.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Timberland Men's Classic Boat Shoe
This is the second pair of Timberland boat shoes I've owned. The first pair lasted 15yrs. When I received these new shoes I was excited to find they are still made the same way, stitches through to the first layer of sole, all quality leather uppers, and quality materials and construction all around. They added some additional inside heel padding and a small pad at the top of the tongue, but all in all, it's the same pair of shoes. Considering how amazing the first pair lasted, these should fair as well. Definitely good looking shoes and feel great on the foot. Come with the same great soles as well.Review of TrekSta Men's T752-Evolution II Trail Running Shoe

I have another pair of TrekSta day hiker type of shoes and the quality of those prompted me to purchase these. I wasn't disappointed, the initial quality of materials, the look of them, and finally putting them on all resonate a well thought out, well engineered product. If you have watched their promo video about the differences in TrekSta shoes compared to others it is all true. The fit is superb, its like a shoe you have never have tried before, feels great, I immediately felt the difference in comfort compared to any other shoe I have worn and look forward to wearing these for a long time.

I am thrilled to have stumbled onto the Treksta brand. This is the first brand of hiking boot to actually fit my feet. They feel like a glove going on my feet. I wore these shoes on a 30 mile 3 day backpack trip out of the box without breaking them in and wearing only one pair of wool blend socks. Nary a blister. And that was with over 4,000 feet climb followed by descent. I just bought a pair of the assault shoes to complement the runners. They fit like a glove as well. Thank you Treksta!Best Deals on TrekSta Men's T752-Evolution II Trail Running Shoe

If you plan on walking easy terrain, they may be ok. Otherwise there are better suited shoes for more rocky or hilly hiking/running. Sent back the first pair because of poor stitching directly at the heel cup, second pair had a slightly flatter stitch. Just came back from a 36 mile two day hike in PA which began with a blister on the heel after only a few hours of serious hiking. I would throw them out if I didn't spend so much on them. They'll be good enough for mowing the lawn, but that's about it.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for TrekSta Men's T752-Evolution II Trail Running Shoe

I am asked by strangers everywhere what it is that I am wearing on my feet. These are a great conversation piece.
They are extremely comfortable and give you the feeling of walking around everywhere barefoot without the pain of rocks and sticks stabbing you in the soles of your feet.
I have run in these fairly regularly and despite what some say, even after 3 or 4 months of running in them I still haven't gotten used to them completely. I still end up with sore feet or leg muscles about half of the time and the first 1/2 mile of the run I notice the lack of cushion on the bottom of my feet.
That being said these are worth every penny for two reasons:
1. I no longer get shin splints, even if I alternate between wearing these and wearing my regular shoes.
2. The pain in my left knee is completely gone.
I am only 24 but have had a pain in my left knee for the last several years that may be tendinitis from years of basketball, cross country and track in school. These shoes have helped alleviate all of that.
Anywho who is thinking about purchasing these I would highly recommend it. Maybe start out walking a few miles in them a day for a week or so to break your legs and feet into them first.
I was a bit apprehensive when I ordered the shoes, wondering if and how it will work. Once I got it on my feet, though, it is the most comfortable shoes I ever had. I am very happy. I bought Injinji toe socks to wear with the shoes. The socks and shoes makes for a very comfortable combination.
I got these for my teenage son, who finds them comfortable and much more akin to the feel of walking barefoot but with the advantages of wearing good quality footwear. He has an issue with overlapping toes, and these shoes hold his toes in perfect position. So his balance is better than when he's barefoot, and conventional shoes would do nothing to help with this issue. The fit is also correct for his shoe size, and there were no issues with these running too small or large. As he continues to use them, he continues to like them more and more. He's not the type to wear anything unless it works well for him, and so far they've become a favorite.
Make sure you have toe socks with these.

Been running for 33 years. Time for some new shoes so I thought 'what the heck' I'll give 'em a try. Friends who trail run said try them for street running you might like the change. At first it was a chore fitting them on getting them adjusted and learning the new 'feel'. I was skeptical. I hit the street running, I was amazed, I liked the shoes so much I extended my run by a quarter mile on their first outing. I'm routinely a 5K guy right now with an occasional 10K just for kicks. I'm 58. I will run with five finger shoes for as long as I can run. I never ran a marathon before but it is on my bucket list for my 60th birthday. Five finger shoes will be the ticket for my next 2 years of training and distance extension . Just don't forget to buy several pairs of 5 finger socks to go with the shoes. There's a big difference between the way typical running shoes feel and how it feels to run barefoot. The latter is more natural but lacks cushioning and the same support mechanism.
