This is a pretty nice looking shoe and it is comfortable to walk in to. It's like a sponge and a spring combined. It laces up good. You can lace'em tight or loose. The material allows a lot of air to flow into the shoe. It kinda feels like a thin sock over the sock you are wearing. A really nice shoe in my opinion.

I've been experimenting with various brands and models of minimalist zero-drop shoes since my transition to barefoot running a year ago. So far, the Dharma is my favorite in terms of comfort and style. My black leather Dharmas are stylish enough to wear in conservative workplaces. I also own a pair of Vivobarefoot Ra's, which fit the same as the Dharmas. I would have given a 5 star rating but I think they are overly expensive.

I wanted a barefoot shoe, but I am not allowed to wear vibram five fingers at work. I tried another brand, but it didn't allow my feet the freedom that this shoe does. I have a number of zero drop shoes, Feiyu's, Cudas, Sanuk's, Teva's Zilch sandals these were my first truly minimalist shoe. I sprinted across the street the first day I wore them to work, they feel amazing. The sole is thick enough to where pebbles on sidewalks and road surfaces arent distracting, but I do feel like im walking on the ground with my whole foot engaged. Really comfortably snug fit around heel keeps shoe in place like a glove. If it werent for the all leather upper I would wear them for weekly wind sprints. The only bad thing is they look like duck feet, I wish they were a "little" less wide in the toe. It looks a little clownish, although the wide toe box "feels" amazing. I dont see the need to wear toe shoes when you can have this much freedom with a closed toe. They kind of curl up at the toe as well, which again feel great sprinting on a lunch break but looks weird standing in an elavator on the way back. So far I havn't been approached by management so they are a win as far as i'm concerned!

I purchased a pair of these sandals in blue and white two years ago. When they began to wear out, I knew I wanted another pair. I was happy to see that the color selection has increased. Some reviewers say that they hurt their feet. I found this to be true when I first started wearing them. I therefore wore them with socks for a short time, and then was able to wear them with no socks with complete comfort. The knobs forming the upper surface are contoured to provide a comfortable arch. I have been running and playing tennis with Asics shoes for many years (since they went with the "tiger" moniker). I purchased these shoes for trail running in the Sierra Nevada. They appear to be well-constructed; however they are a FULL size smaller than Asics corresponding shoes for running and tennis. The last of the shoe may be different as well. Caveat emptor!
The gore-tex liner keeps my socks dry while working even when large amounts of water splashes on my feet. I was also very surprised my socks would stay dry after stepping in large puddles of water. So far the rubber soles have been very durable and slip resistant. If I was into hiking or doing other outdoor activities I'd trust these shoes to keep my feet dry. If you are considering purchasing these to use for running then I'd recommend you look for something lighter. They seem a bit too heavy for running because I normally use Nike Free Run shoes and they are significantly lighter than the ASICS. But...I didn't purchase these for running.
I gave these shoes a star off due to being slightly too small for my feet which caused some discomfort. I was hoping they would get better after the break-in period but they still feel the same since I first put them on. Even after machine washing a bunch of times. Overall the shoes are very durable and waterproof. I'm satisfied with the price paid on Amazon!!!

I typically wear a 7 to 7 1/2, depending on the manufacturer. I bought a size 8, which should have given me plenty of room. When I tried them on, I had to squeeze into them, and the fit was so snug at the top of my foot that I could tell I would either get blisters from wearing them, or that I would wear out the material prematurely. Apparently, Asics sizes are not true to standard American sizing. Tried to exchange for an 8 1/2 or 9, but Amazon doesn't offer sizes larger than 8, so I had to return them entirely. Too bad. While in Europe on a light-traveling trip, I picked up a pair for both running and walking. Great runners--did several runs up to 8 miles. But walking was even better, as they are sturdy enough to be comfortable for day long walks over streets and cobblestones, a little sturdier than my dedicated runners (which I left at home), yet very light and of course waterproof, which was nice on the wet days. I bought these shoes for my job working outside around swimming pools and also for doing a lot of gardening around my house. I've worn them for about 6 months and they still look very decent considering how many times they've gotten soaking wet and full of mud. Once they start to look too dirty I'll spray them down with a water hose and/or throw them in the washing machine. After that I'll set them out in my garage to dry using a small fan. Results have been great!!! No mildew smells or damages to the shoe which tells me that they are super durable and should last quite a while. I tried doing this with some of my other shoes and the process never really worked out quite as well. These shoes dry really fast! After 7 washes or so they still look pretty much new. These shoes are very durable and I like the water resistance. I normally where a size 9. I got a size 9 in these shoes. They seem a little tight because of the Gortex liner. The length is fine, but they just seem a little tight on the top of my foot. They are very soft to walk on just like all other Asics.
Cheap Saucony Men's Ride 6 Running Shoe
The Ride 6 by Saucony is a great all around running shoe. The sole is a little thick for cross-fit style workouts, but is usable because of the stability this shoe provides. The longest distance that I have ran with it so far is 5 miles, and the shoe was comfortable the entire distance. Less fatigue on the foot then the Nike Free Runs. Recommended for beginner to intermediate runners. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating, is because the shoes are a little more bulky than I expected. Still a great shoe overall!

I have tried other gym shoes, but none comes close. I have tried some other brands, but none stand up to 45 minutes on an elliptical like Nikes do. Hands down the best gym shoe with the best arch support. They do run a little narrow. I am female and always purchase wide or men's to get the width I need for my wide feet.

I had a couple of pairs of 1150s and then several 1160s that I really liked, so I assumed the 1170s would be the same. Instead, I found them to be too small and wear really quickly. I wear them running, and after about 200 miles they had significant wear on the soles and a hole in the side! Very disappointing, and the last pair of Asics I will be buying for a while.
