In the many years of using them, I have NEVER FALLEN DOWN with these on.

I work as a postal carrier and have tried many different products. These have been the only item that I will use. They are very easy to put on and take off. The grip on ice/snow is AMAZING! With other products, you have to worry about walking on glare ice or certain stone sidewalks. Not with these!

As a postal carrier I put a lot of miles on them every day. They usually only last a few days to a week for us before they break. If you are not using them all day every day, I can see them lasting a whole winter or three. Either way, they are WORTH EVERY PENNY.

All the products like this are hard to size; I got these in a medium/large for a women's size 8.5 shoe, and they're hard to put on but I could do it. I may have small hands, but I couldn't get them on my size 9 boots though. (Shoe sizes aren't completely consistent.) Some people think this type of product stays on better if they're tight, but that hasn't been my experience. I bought my last pair one size bigger than the manufacturer suggested, and had them the longest--but I finally lost one and am still searching. These are almost as good at providing traction, but not quite. I still slipped, but didn't fall. The reason might be that the rubber on the bottom has no tread itself so between the cleats the surface is smooth.

I do a lot of walking to the bus stop and other places in the dead of winter and started wearing spikes like these about 4 years ago. I once fell on the ice and ended up in an ambulance and since then I've been terrified of falling, especially now that I'm older. These spikes do the trick! I like them better than the coil kind (like Yak Trax) because they really grip. I finally feel secure walking.

The fit is tight. I have a size 8W ladies boot and I got the medium size. It was a bit of a struggle getting them over the boot but I did it and now they are snug and secure.

Only draw back is these will damage real wood floors. If you visit neighbors who have those floors you may find yourself having to take your boots off on the porch. They don't seem to damage fake (linoleum, etc) floors at all AND at home I have a thick braided rug inside the door that protects the wood floors. The other drawback, which is only a drawback if you want to be stealthy, is on hard floors you sound like a tap-dancing troop.

These are great sneakers in terms of comfort, style (though I don't see my model here) and material.

I have a wide foot and these fit me great. I got a half size bigger by accident and to be honest there was not much of a noticeable difference between the two sizes.

Here is why I gave these 3 stars: They just don't last!!! And I mean they really don't last. I bought mine in May 2011. It is now October and the sole on the heel part (of both shoes) has holes. The rest of the shoe is fine. I don't/didn't wear these everyday and abuse the heck out of them. I would wear them maybe twice a week. I just walk in them and not incredibly long distances either!

If you want comfort and style get these sneakers but be advised they seem to be made for the type of situation where you wear them to a party that you get to by car which is parked only a few feet away.

Cheap Inov-8 Roclite 295 Trail Running Shoe

I love Inov-8 shoes. They are a great company and right now I will not buy another brand. I have had these shoes for a couple of months now and run about 15-20 miles a week in them. They are holding up great and are extremely light. I also have a pair of F-Lite 195 and I love them also. I just finished hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro and used these shoes for the entire hike. I didn't get a single blister, cut, or anything else.

This is my second pair. The first pair was an earlier version that I actually preferred because it seems that the sole was a little thicker. I do alot of rocky trail running and I can feel the rocks more with these new ones. Other than that I'm very pleased. They are very secure, I've never rolled my ankle in either pair. I have a pair of Cascadias that I no longer wear on trails because of the ankle rolling problems with them. The earlier Roclites lasted about 300 miles before I got some tears in the uppers near the toes.

I have used these a few times since getting them. I would use them more, but they are strictly trail shoes and I bounce back and forth between road and trail. I have used them for an 8 miler that was muddy and snowy/icy and they gave great traction, were super comfortable and very light weight. They are definitely less of a shoe, and that is what I was looking for. I was debating between these and the New Balance 101's but went with these. I was hesitant because when I saw these in the store I thought the bottom was pretty soft and would wear out fast. But now that I have them, I don't doubt they will last for a while. I would highly recommend trying these if you are on the fence about it, my feet thank me.

When New Balance stopped making the MT 101, I searched high and low for a replacement. After trying several alternatives, I tried the Roclite 295 and knew I was home! A bit more distance from the ground, which is nice when it's cold. Glove-like fit. Good looking. Killer traction. Unbelievably comfortable. The only challenge is finding your correct size, when you can't find them in a store. I ended up having to move to larger sizes before I felt I had the optimal space at the front to handle steep downhills. Can't say enough good things about a well-fitting Roclite 295, though!

This is my secret weapon to defeat my running buddy, who has finished ahead of me in past 13 marathons. Number 14 will be different !!!

I was very pleased with my purchase after 4 or 5 practise runs. I find them delightful to run in, and have noticed benefits on trails already with those "rocks" no longer hurting the bottom of my feet. A nice large toebox, and a light feel (I have run in Asics 21x0 shoes for 5+ years).

Shoe sizing for me, was the same as my Asics.

After my big run this weekend, I may consider wearing these as field hockey shoes. Comfortable, lightweight, well protected AND nice ribbing on the sole for grip. Makes me think they are my new cross trainer (trail running and field hockey) shoes.

I have been running in nimbus since the numberVi. The vii and viii were the best. 9 was ok. 10 was horrible. 11 and 12 were good. 13 is very narrow. It is a waste of money. Switched to cumulus, much wider. Asics please bring back the good old 7 and 8

Nimbus-13 is a very comfortable running shoe. Great arch support (which is made better by using Sofsole Arch insole) and very cushion-y. I am by no means a runner but rather a mom who needs a comfortable shoe to exercise in that will help keep my plantar fasciitis at bay! Now that I am finally in the right shoes for my feet (high arch) fingers crossed my occasional knee discomfort will go away too. Yay me! Perhaps I can be the runner I've always wanted to be. =)

After some research, I purchased the Gel-Nimbus 13 Running Shoe. I have found after only one Gym class it started cutting my circulation off mid foot, and my toes keep going numb. my answer was definitely my shoes.

This is pretty cool looking shoes and I was more happy when it fit right and was so comfortable. I was little skeptical because initially I thought it was pretty flashy, litte bold than I usually wear or jazzy but it just looks fine and cool when you wear them with your casual jeans.

I just wear to my work (casuals are allowed) or anywhere I go out its just feels right. I must warn you this one is quite a head turner.

Review of New Balance Men's MR730 NBx Running Shoe

I am just getting back into running after about 5 years off, I have been a fairly fast runner, intermediate skills, short and light weight with a couple marathons under my belt. After my hiatus from running I had gained alot of weight and lost most of my skills.

When shopping for new shoes I didnt want to drop alot of money into them as I was unsure how long I would actually run, I found the New Balance 730 for a really good price and decided to try them even though my past thoughts was that New Balance only made shoes for heavy and runners with poor form. I know this is not correct but it was my thoughts. The shoe felt good and the price was right so I got them.

The shoe is light and flexible with lots of room in the toe box. I run mostly forefoot to mid foot strike, and I like to feel like my toes can move so I can push off with them. Even though they felt roomy in the front they hold well in the mid foot to never feel like you are slipping foward in the shoe. It has feels well cushioned in the rear but not overly padded so I feel like I am wearing high heels. Great weight very light and zippy.

I have never really bought the exact brand of shoes twice in the past and am ordering my second pair of these now to help me get through my first marathon in over 10 years. I may need a 3rd before that time comes. Best shoe I have ever gotten at this price. Highly recommend. ran on one pair for 3/4 of a year, about 20 to 25 miles a week. There toast but have done well.

Bought these for my husband who can only wear New Balance which accommodate the size of his foot plus the orthotics he needs to place inside them. He has been very pleased with the shoe providing both enough sturdiness and flexibility/support. They are lightweight and very comfortable to wear, allowing airflow which is always beneficial.

I bought these Lithia flip flops because I was looking for flip flops with arch support. These had great reviews on most websites including Amazon.com, so I went for it. I am so glad I did. These are the most comfortable flip flops I've ever had! It feels like I'm walking on marshmallows. I bought the Berry Soda color and I think I'm going to buy them in blue as well because they are so comfy. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. Just make sure you put them in the oven and follow directions for the adjustment/fitting for your feet. It's a personal fit and it's great!

I got these in a size 8, stainless/berry soda color. The fit is good for my foot, which is an 81/2 med. I have some issues of a fallen arch, some arthritis, ankle and knee pain (left side) and for these reasons I was looking for a pair of sandals which had good arch support, soft cushioning and good support. These sandals can be molded to your particular foot by placing them in the oven for a short while and then wearing them, so the sole takes up the contours of your foot. I had high hopes for these sandals, and to some extent my hopes were not unjustified, because these sandals are comfortable, but the arch is a bit too high for my foot, and the arch part of the sole is not pliable, so it stays too high, even after "baking". The soft cushioning I was hoping for is not there for the whole bottom part. So, the proportion is about 60% to 40%, 60 is the softer, pliable part, and the rest is the less yielding, harder part, such as the arch.

I was hoping for a thick, bouncy bottom part, with good arch support, but with some flexibility.

I am going to keep these, not only because I already baked them, but because I will be able to wear these for shorter periods. I am ordering the "Molokini" model, and hoping that I will find what I am looking for in those.

I buy a new pair every season. Hate to get rid of some, but eventually they do stretch out. You can wash them in the washer and if you dry them in the dryer, they heat up and you can put them on to reshape them to your feet. I find the dryer method is more efficient and safer than the oven.

They feel great on the treadmill and even better outside on the harder surface. Just ran 8 miles in them today and decided somewhere during those miles that I HAD to write a review so others knew how fantastic they were! I 42+ hours a week as a waitress and have had lower back/hip issues on and off for years. I'm always looking for good work shoes. I could never stand wearing the same pair of shoes 2 days in a row I'd always end up sore on the second day. I saw that these were good for people on their feet for long periods so I ordered my first pair. I loved them so much I ordered another pair a few weeks later. These are now the only shoes I will wear to work. My feet NEVER hurt even after 15 hour shifts. I don't see a need for insoles anymore either. And my hips & back seem to hurt less as well. I have used the Sof Sole insert for years. I use them in hiking boots.

PROS:

1) I was able to get a good fit. They offer a wide selection of sizes, and the sizing seems to be fairly standard. i.e. I wear a 10.5 and the sole fit as expected. For me, the key area is the placement of the arch support.

2) Easy to trim. For my last pair, I do recall trimming about an 1/8" off the toe area, using the insole that came with my shoe as a template. Some trimming is expected.

3) Durable. Other reviewers have noted fabric separation. I haven't had this problem. I have hiked for miles with them in soaking wet boots many times and the fabric has not separated from the cushion material. Maybe the sock material makes a difference? I use a wool sock. Maybe cotton socks, which can be abrasive when wet, add stress. Anyway, the blue fabric is starting to show some wear after all these years, but nothing that I wouldn't expect.

4) Comfortable, resilient material. The fabric, the foam, the gel...all have maintained their shape and integrity. Makes a big difference on a long trek.

NOTES:

1) If they get wet take them out of your shoe, gently press the water out, and then air dry before putting back in the shoe! The packaging indicates that there is an anti-odor / anit-bacterial treatment. Well, it's not magic, or if it is, then maybe my magic has washed off. Anyway, If I don't dry them out properly, the boots smell terrible.

2) Make sure you have enough room in your shoe or boot. This innersole tends to be a bit thicker than a standard insole that often comes with a shoe or boot. If your shoe or boot is already snug, then you may not have room.

I give these five stars because I don't have any valid complaints or suggestions for improvement. Regarding price/quality, these are a good buy.

I bought these to use in my Yonex badminton shoes. The insoles were thicker than the originals so that made the shoes a bit tight but not to a point where it became uncomfortable. I liked how the softness of these insoles reduced the impact on my feet.

However, less than 3 months of once-per-week use later, the thin top blue part started to separate from the rest of the insole on BOTH of them! The loose part now bunches up under the sock and painfully rubs my feet. Maybe these aren't made for lots of lateral movement but if it says "Athlete Insole", I assume it should be fine for all types of recreational athletic activity.

The package actually came a day before it's estimated delivery date and I loved that I could track my package since I am so impatient. Fits great! I got a size 6.5 and it's true to size and so are the colors. The laces was already tied when I opened the box so I had to loosen them a bit before I could put them on, but not to bad.

I went into my local DSW to buy the same old Keds I've been wearing for several years. I recently started going to the gym and thought I might as well look into a pair a shoes to work out in. I spotted Nike Relentless. I WILL NEVER BUY A PAIR OF SHOES THAT ARE NOT COMFORTABLE FROM THE FIRST! I put these on and bam! Instant comfort. I need cushion for the thinnest part of my body the bottom of my feet. I feel they have plenty of cushion for my way of walking, however, I am NOT a runner so I don't know if they would be a good running shoe. I can wear them to work, and as an educational aide, I am on my feet most of the day. They are a great workout shoe as well. I'm not one to notice what people are wearing, but people at the gym and at school have commented on how nice my Nikes are. Are they comfortable? YES! I noticed that they are full price ($75) on Amazon.com, so I'm happy to say I paid $60 at DSW. I would highly recommend these shoes.

Shopping for running shoes online requires a lot of finger crossing and hoping. More often than not, the shoes are uncomfortable in some way or look weird. This pair of Nike running shoes is exactly what I wanted, style, color, fit and comfort. A true size 8, possibly on the narrow side but not too much. These are really cute shoes, they are light-weight yet have good bottom and side support. They feel good to run in. The price is right, too. Love 'em!
