My mom is a nurse and is on her feet 12 hours a day. She was complaining about her feet/legs/hips hurting and I already had a pair of these. I got them for her and she is still praising me for buying them. Her hips and feet "feel a million times better," she says ahaha. I am a waitress and agree. These shoes are great. We ordered these shoes to get the best price on the color and size my 9 year old son needed. However, 4 months later and these shoes have fallen apart. He wears them to school every day, and a large hold has worn through the heel (from the inside to the outside sole). I definitely wanted shoes that lasted longer for my active son.

If you prefer for your running shoes to be lightweight, these are perfect. They're lightweight yet still have enough cushioning and support to be comfortable. Considering the price, they actually are very cheap looking (and probably also to produce), however they definitely make a big difference, when I ran with 1 shoe with regular and the other with elastic laces. Definitely worth trying for somebody who runs a lot or has problems tightening the laces at the right places.

My son wore See Kai Run shoes as a toddler, and both he and I loved them for their style, comfort, and ease of use. These shoes by sister company Eleven seem to follow in See Kai Run's footsteps (no pun intended). Nike Free Runs are great product!

The Nike Frees are a great product! They are very comfortable and good looking too. They come in many different colors. The 3 are a lot more comfortable than the other Nike frees. The 3 are a big step up. They are very long lasting and you get great wear out of them. The Nike chip is great if you are big into running. They are great to go anywhere in because they are so light and flexible.

Although they come in all sizes, this is probably not a very good shoe for little kids. Because their feet are still growing, if that is the case then they are a bit pricey. But otherwise it is worth the money.

I went to all these stores trying to find the right shoe. Then I saw the Nike Free Runs, I wanted those. I tried them on and fell in love with them. They are by far the most comfortable shoe I have ever had. I give Nike 5 out of 5 stars on this one.

I do not have wide feet at all and these shoes made it feel like I had the widest feet on the planet. I do have to say the shoe is constucted well and is built to last, but unless you have extemely skinny feet I would not purchase these shoes. I purchesed a pair of solomon xtslab5 and they are wonderful and feel like you are walking on air

I come from a bit of a "sneakerhead" background. A lot of shoes that I've worn looked great visually, but weren't comfortable for regular use. As I began to get into more fitness I wore mainly skateboard shoes, but switched to a pair of Nike Air Max. While they were pretty comfortable, I still had some issues with them and a lot of foot pain after a hike or run. In my plans to do a lot of hiking for a trip to Kauai, I purchased these Xterra XR 1.0 and their XT 2.0 shoes.

My thoughts? Right out of the box the XR 1.0 felt perfect. After lacing them up I can only describe it was "walking on a coaster" meaning that I almost feel barefoot, but always on a stable surface. I went on a steep hike over the weekend and accidentally landed myself in some mountain lion territory. The shoes were able to handle the steep hike up and immediately back down with no issues. The terrain was dirt, grass, jagged rocks, etc. So far I have no pain in my feet at all. They're so comfortable that I actually haven't put on another pair of shoes since this past weekend. I wish they came in more neutral colors such as a black/grey/white that I could wear with more of my clothes. I HIGHLY recommend them if you plan to be doing any hiking, running or simply just want a comfortable pair of shoes.

I bought this shoe on Amazon because it was reasonably priced. I even paid the shipping since it wasn't prime eligible. It was sized the same as asics and nike shoes. I have run three marathons and have switched to playing golf. This shoe is very comfortable and I wear it on the golf course where I walk and carry by clubs. It has great traction and I give it a big thumbs up! If only it would help my swing ---!

This type of shoe has proven to totally stop my foot pain. Even the thin ones work. I have all the styles but none were nice enough for work. This one is that and the most comfortable of all. I prefer using toe sox with them, Big 5 has a sale and I filled up.

I have hiked Bishops Peak in them as a test, they worked well even though true lug sole boots are really called for. Sizes are standard and run true, same great fit as all my others. For Watter I use a full rubber style, for teaching 8 hr classes and just about everything else these rock!

Personally, I'm disappointed with the fit of the shoes. They don't hug/wrap your feet like New Balance's Minimus line or Inov-8's Natural fit. They feel less secured on trails as my feet move around in them more than other shoes. Ample cushioning for both road and trails if you like more of a bouncy than a firm ride.
