I bought these shoes for my daughter. Due to the 10mm grade, she is a little faster and more accurate due to better balance. Before she would complained about her knees, now she is more comfortable and does not complain after practice or a game. Best shoes so far...

I have a wide forefoot and a narrow heel and finding athletic shoes that fit properly can be a challenge. I have been wearing ASICS as my primary show (running, training, casual use) for many years and only recently discovered that they make cleats. I was pleasantly surprised when I found the fit on these cleats to be exactly the same as the sneakers.
I play ultimate frisbee (defender/receiver) and purchased my first pair of these two years ago. They required no break-in period and I find them excellent for lateral movement, buttonhook cuts, or big horizontal air. I've run in them primarily on hard fields with short grass, but also found them appropriate for longer grass or turf. I am transitioning from a high-top football cleat and these are the first low-tops I have worn in many years, so I miss the ankle support those provided, especially on less even terrain, but I expect that would be the same for me with any low-top cleat.
I usually blow through the sides of my cleats after a year or so of use, less if they are leather. I broke these in on indoor turf and wore them through a rainy spring, a hot and dusty summer, and a dry and frosty fall before they started to tear up. They survived a winter indoor season and spring tryouts before I had to break down and order my second pair. The second ones arrived on time in proper condition from the seller and have precisely the same fit. The first pair is still usable for foul-weather tournaments or low-grade pickup.
The last time I spent this much money on cleats was for my Adidas Accelerators in 1999. These fit similarly, function as well or better, and are sturdier. They have never touched a soccer ball so I can't speak to their use in that department.

I am a recreational runner (I run to keep my thighs smaller due to playing a lot of soccer), and when I saw that Asics came out with soccer cleats I became very excited. I looked at the reviews prior to buying, but was unsure with how to size the cleats. I originally purchased the same size I use in cleats, but found it was a little snug in the toe area. I know (because of the type of leather) it would stretch over time, but I like to use my running insoles from old running shoes. Amazon handled the exchange without any problem and absolutely LOVE these cleats. So if you are not in any hurry to break these cleats in, get whatever size you normally wear, otherwise I would suggest you get a 1/2 size larger.
Just to let you know, it did take me about 10-12 practices/games, to learn to appreciate the lateral control these cleats have. Once you get use to them, they will definitely improve your stoppage, take off time, and change of direction.
