This is a nice light-weight running shoe. Fits about right. The rubber on the bottom front of toe is peeling a tiny bit after my first couple of runs, but it doesn't appear to be hurting the integrity of the shoe at all. I think it's just a little extra rubber -sort of like the extra dough after you use the cookie cutter to cut out your cookies, if you know what I mean.

I loved the bright colors and really wanted to keep them but they didn't support my heels as well as my other Zoots. I developed plantar fascitis after running a half-marathon in February. Despite doing the prescribed exercises religiously I never felt any relief until I purchased my first pair of Ultrakalanis. I wore them to work (I'm a nurse) and after 12 hours on my feet I felt as though I was well on my way to recovery. That was 4 months ago and I am now in training for my next half-marathon. I have purchased 4 pairs of Zoot Ultrakulanis because I'm afraid they'll quit making them; I can't imagine a day without my Zoots!

As a cross country runner in high school, I tried a lot of different shoes before settling on Adidas shoes. I have high arches, so once I discovered the Supernova Cushion, my feet were always happy. I've had 4 pairs of Supernova Cushions over the years and when the new version came out, the Supernova Glide, I had to give them a try.

I've worn them on several runs already and I love them. They're even better than the Supernova Cushions, which I didn't think could be possible. I've ran the last few years wearing the Adidas Supernova series and this is the best shoe I've run in. I've had bad experiences in the past when a line of shoes I like gets "updated" to the new models and they actually feel worse. This is definitely not the case. The cushioning is great and some knee pain I had been having immediately cleared up. I'm a fairly big guy (6'1'', 180 lbs) and many shoes often seemed aimed at smaller runners but this one works very well for me. This is a great shoe and I would recommend it to anyone.

I've been a huge fan of another brand for a long time and never really gave much thought to Adidas as a serious running shoe. What can I say, I was very wrong. This is my third pair of Adidas, the first two being the Response Cushion and the Adistar Cushion. The Glide is in a lower "class" but to be honest I noticed nothing that would lead you to believe this. I run on paved road and packed limestone trails. The Glide has no problems absorbing the impact of my heavier frame (6'4" 180) even on longer (10+ mile) runs. The fit is wonderful, arch support is very good and the shoes wraps around the food wonderfully. One thing that was on these shoes that wasn't on the others was the new memory foam tongue. It's absolutely wonderful and really does spread the pressure of the laces out over the top of the foot more evenly.

I would say that this shoe runs 1/2 size too short. Order a 1/2 size larger. Other sites have this stated in their description. My son loves these shoes and says they are very comfortable with lots of support for his narrow foot.

I used these shoes to train for a marathon in and they were perfect. They give great support, are quite lightweight, and they feel very comfortable the entire run. They fit exactly the size you'd expect so don't worry about whether you need to order a size up or down. Whatever you generally wear in running shoes is what you should expect out of these.

My husband is in the Army, and goes through new running shoes about every 4-5 months. He's tried all different brands and levels of shoe. This shoe is by far the best i've ever owned. I walk a lot an run on the tread mill an with my previous shoe i used to get blisters a lot an my feet would be sore, but I have not had that problem with the 1224. I recommend it just for everyday use, walking, running, etc...

Best Deals on New Balance Men's MR1224 Running Shoe

This is my second pair of 1224's, after two pairs of 1223's. New Balances just fit me better. The 1224's have a nice blend of stability and cushioning. The only shoe I've found comparable are the Saucony Hurricanes. The kicker for New balance is that they are the last of the major sports shoe companies that make a real effort to have their shoes assembled in the U.S. If I were to suggest any changes, it would perhaps be a little more forefoot cushion. By the way, you will love the laces: they stay tied due to their unique design.

I have flat feet and suffer from pronation. I needed stability shoes for regular everyday use. For last 8 months I have been using New Balance MR1224. I am very impressed with these shoes. These shoes are very comfortable and made from high quality materials.

These are some nice toning sneakers for $20.00. I needed a pair for work, and some manufacturers of toning sneakers are discontinuing their toning sneakers, due do a lawsuit was filed and settlements given about the shoes didn't really tone like the manufacturer said they did. Also there where complaints about hip injuries from toning sneakers.

I bought a pair of these at Macy's a couple of years ago and fell in love with them. Macy's doesn't carry them anymore but I was lucky enough to find them on Amazon. I would buy a dozen pair if they were available. These are the absolutely most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I HATE wearing shoes so to find a pair that I actually enjoy wearing is a very highly unusual. These are FAR BETTER than any of the other brands of toning shoes. I don't wear them for the toning ability but for the comfort. Please Style & Co, bring DASHH back into the mainstream market!

My 8 yr old is a competitive sprinter and long jumper. We spend lots of time at the track for conditioning. She is super picky about shoes. Most of the ones she tries on aren't 'comfy'. She has a fairly narrow foot, with a high arch and in step. So when I told her I ordered shoes, she was worried. (generally, she tries 8 million different pairs b4 she finds one she is happy with) When they arrived, I held my breath as she slipped one on. The huge grin and the "They are really comfy" was awesome!! :) After her first practice I asked her how her shoes were. Her reply... "I didn't notice them." Which is exactly what we wanted so she could be free to focus on form and technique. Her only complaint... they have pink on them. lol

I bought these shoes in the silver and neon color and they are very nice. Aside from that, they are extremely comfortable. I have a medium arch and tend to supinate, and these shoes are perfect for me. They are lightweight, flexible, and yet nicely cushioned. I have been running with them for three weeks and I have not felt any pain in my legs at all. Previously, I had been running with Nike Lunarglide+3's and they were nowhere near as soft and comfortable as these are. I am in love with these shoes. I think I'll stick to buying Asics Gel shoes from now on.

These shoes are extremely comfortable and I really like the appearance of the black/white/ultraviolet. My only complaint with them is that within HOURS of having them--the 'decals' started peeling off on the right shoe. I decided to try a second pair, because I have a difficult time finding comfortable shoes. Again, within hours, the 'decal' on the right foot started peeling off.
