For the hard core trail runner. I mean roots, rocks, clay, sand,dirt, etc. Very rugged tread that grabs very well. They are well ventilated, so your feet will get wet when you run thru streams. Very comfortable upper. Just be sure to order a full size larger than your actually size. I actually had to return a pair to learn this lesson.

I NORMALLY WEAR A SIZE 11WIDE, AND ORDERED A WHOLE SIZE UP.
SO A SIZE 12 FITS ME PERFECTLY.

This shoe does not have a ton of support to it. They are comfortable to run in right out of the box. They give you plenty of feel for the ground, while not giving too much. They set low to the ground, and offer some protection where needed, but are not weighed down with unnecessary protection. Some might like a little more to a trail shoe, but I found these to be perfect for the feel I like. Be aware, they run a half size small. I have over 500 miles on the pair I wore this summer, and have two more pair ready for spring. I love this shoe.

Very comfortable and light weight trail shoe. Runs at least a half size smaller and is much narrower than most Pearl iZUMI shoes. Does not have a lot of cushioning if you need it.
