Also, in case your wondering, I printed the Keen measuring tool off their website and my son measured exactly an 11. So I went round and round on whether to order a size bigger. Don't. I ordered an 11 for him and they already have the extra toe space built in.

The fabric is SO cute and the rubber-reinforced toes do help prevent wear. However, the tongue is short and made of single-layer canvas. It gets shoved into the shoe as the foot is inserted. Tongue needs to be longer and easier for a helper or kid to lift out of the way as foot slides in. The fake shoelace design really interferes with the function of the shoe. My kid is actively helping to get the shoes on (it means we are going OUTSIDE) but the mouth of the shoe doesn't open up very wide to make putting it on easy.Best Deals on KEEN Coronado Print Sneaker (Toddler/Little Kid)
Best value for rough and tumble preschoolers whose feet have stopped going up a shoe size every 3months. love the rubber toe. We've had holes worn through the toes on cheaper brand shoes (stride rite for one)as our child likes to drag his toes on the ground on ride on toys and scooting around, this is our 2nd pair of keens and no holes. Also easy for child and parent to put this shoe on.Honest reviews on KEEN Coronado Print Sneaker (Toddler/Little Kid)
This is our 5th pair of these shoes. They hold up like a tank on my toddlers feet. Will be back again for more.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for KEEN Coronado Print Sneaker (Toddler/Little Kid)
My son is 2 years old and his feet are perfect little rectangular cubes. I really wanted him to be a Converse baby, but his feet were having none of that. We turned to Keen, which my husband wears because they are for the wider-footed gentleman. Keen's do not come in a "wide", but their shoe is built wider and they fit my son's feet. I love the colors. I love the styles. I do not love that the tongue is flimsy and gets bunched up in the shoe. At this point it is so crumpled, I am having difficulty straightening it out to get my son's foot in it. As people have noted here, if your child is trying to "help", or is actively struggling (my son has done both) it is VERY HARD to get the shoe on. While the toe area is incredibly durable, the other areas around the shoe are not. The rubber is peeling away from the sides and the surfers and surf boards are almost completely faded. While the fading does not bother me after 3 months of wear, the peeling rubber does. He will likely be in size 8T for another 3 months and I am concerned about whether these shoes will hold up. I continue to buy Keens because I can almost always find a pair for $25 or less and they are very cute. Additionally, he is outgrowing shoes so quickly, the durability does not generally become too serious of a concern. However, when he gets to be 4 or 5 and is really tough on his shoes, I will definitely be looking for another brand.Overall -
Cute styles
Wide fit for fat feet
Awful "tongue"
Poor long-term durability
