First, I fall into the novice and beginning jogger category. I did my research and after walking around in these shoes in the store I dived in. These are the first and only pair of minimalistic running shoes I have tired. Previously I have always worn Asics. I have wide feet, plantar fasciitis and neuroma's. I have worn the Skecher's a half dozen times now progressing in my jogging times both on the treadmill and indoor track. Initially I did not think they were for me. However I did continue to wear them longer and longer and at this point I would absolutely recommend them. I have never ran in any other form than heel first, so the change in pattern took me a bit to get used to. It also took me a few runs to strengthen my calf muscle to run correctly. They are very light weight. I have found that I like to bear foot run in them, because they fit so well, socks were an irritating factor for me. I have high arches and they are very supportive. The toe box is very wide. Normally I have to size up in Skechers shoes, these were true to size. I did not buy a wide width shoe. I have walked in them and taken a variety of cardio and strength classes to help with breaking them in, they were comfortable in all capacities. Additionally Amazon offered a great price, far below what I found in the sporting good stores in my area. Shipping was fast (I have prime). I plan on buying another pair for spring!

First let me say I don't run recreationally. I run professionally as a Nurse. I also have problems with my feet, most importantly bunions. I have purchased literally hundreds of pairs of shoes over the course of a 20+ year career. Recently I fell and sustained a spiral fractue of my 4th toe, as well as injured some of the tissues over the top of my foot. I took a week off and during that time purchased 4 pairs of shoes including a stretching device because I was simply unable to even put my foot into a shoe much less walk with one on.These shoes are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. The material they are made of accomodated my bunions immediately with no "break in" time whatsoever. They are so light I found myself constantly looking down at my feet the first shift I wore them because I was sure I had slippers on! My toe and foot hurts....the shoes don't take that away obviously but wow....compared to conventional Nursing shoes or typical sneakers, they are simply a revolution in footwear. If there had been more stars I would have given them to this pair of shoes! They accomodate my orthotics beautifully too. I recommend this sneaker to anyone with foot issues, or those looking for the most comfortable shoe on the market today!
