I was looking for a light weight/minimal shoe to run in, but had a little cushion and grip. These are perfect. I have plenty of protection from pebbles on the ground, but my feet can move freely and I didn't pay the Merrill price! New Balance did a good job of creating a shoe that won't wear out (no extra cushioning means no worn out cushioning) and still there's just enough support. The toe box is plenty wide to allow your toes to splay, and they even make good walking shoes because there's a little angle on the heel of the tead that allows your heel to strike naturally. I'm really happy with my shoes!

I bought these shoes primarily for walking, and they are very comfortable! They are so light weight, which I really like. I also like the fact that they come up high enough on your foot, so you can't see the little socks I have on. That's definitely a plus. There is lots of room for your toes in this shoe, which is why I guess they're so comfortable!

These shoes are one of two new shoes I use for walking. I really love how comfortable they are on my feet. My previous shoes were a running shoe and were causing the top of my feet to hurt after I went for my walk. Now they don't hurt at all, and they run true to size.

I have a job which requires me to be on my feet a lot,and my feet usually hurt,even with expensive shoes. These were reasonably priced, and for the first time in many years my feet didn't hurt. Almost feel as if I'm wearing my ugg slippers!
