Be sure to size up 1/2 size on these ... I typically wear a 6-1/2, and exchanged for a 7, which fit fine. They are an adequate trail shoe; I run on gravel county roads and the tread does not hold rocks. They are quite rigid, and even after replacing the insoles with new cushioned liners, they are pretty stiff. I am not sure I would buy again as my running shoe, but that being said, they are working fine as a light trail hiker.

This is my fourth or fifth pair of Mizuno running shoes, but I'm not singing their praises as much as I did years before ...

This is my 4th pair of Mizuno I have ever owned and I am a bit disappointed in this shoe. I love the bright colors and the treading is so nice on gravel and asphalt but I am having issues getting use to the shoe. It is a very small shoe box area with the inside sock. I love that feature the best but even with thin running socks it is a very tight shoe. I have previously owned Mizuno Wave Alchemy and I am spoiled because I could take them out of the box and wear immediately for a run but it feels that I have to break these in. They arrived within days, super fast delivery.

I took a chance with a new brand of shoes just because the reputation of Mizuno is great...and I loved the color combo! The shoes are definitely brighter that the picture depicts, but I still LOVE them! (That's the only reason I gave them 4 stars, since the pic is not super accurate. I was expecting a much softer teal) I have wide feet and have sometimes have trouble finding shoes that don't feel like they suffocate my feet. After one day at work (I'm a nurse), these shoes felt like I had been wearing them for months. Very comfy and look super cute with my black scrubs!
