I am fairly new to running and had been using a traditional well-padded New Balance running shoe. After reading about the advantages of barefoot running, I decided to find some shoes that would let me enjoy some of these advantages while running on pavement in New England. I am a fairly heavy (200#) plodding runner so I was a little concerned that the lack of cushion was going to hurt my feet but I was able to transition to them without missing a beat. They are light and flexible and give a great feel of the surface under my feet but don't leave me sore after I run in them. Great shoes for someone looking to transition out of more traditional running shoes but not ready for some of the more minimal "barefoot" shoes out there.

I've been a loyal Nike running shoe owner for years but I decided to step out of the comfort zone on these. I couldn't be happier. Very comfortable and great support to run in. Not as light as some comparable Nike's but not heavy either.

Actually went to a shoe store and tried them on before I purchased them. Don't know what the difference is but after a day walking in them my feet started to hurt. Tried to stretch the out and did a good job. Didn't really help. The matirial is too stiff and still hurt my feet. Also took longer to break in and get that feeling of walking on memoryfoam.

Not for anyone with wide feet.
