The Ride 6 is better than the 5 for sure. Close to the old Ride 4, but not quite. The cushioning is still less than the 4, and I'd say that is my only disappointment in this shoe.
This is still a nicely-cushioned shoe, and the width is roomy in the toe box. I think the arch support is not quite as good as previous versions, but still ok.

I have a high arch, under pronate, and severe plantar fasciitis problems. These shoes have enabled me to continue training for the 5k I am doing in the fall. They are very pricey, but well worth the cost if you need shoes that offer motion control and heavy cushioning. The best part is they are lightweight as well. \Best Deals on Saucony Women's Ride 6 Running Shoe
I am a beginner runner and was looking for a shoe that had comfort and cushion. I have found both in the Ride. When I first put them on I wasn't sure that it was going to meet my expectations, but I was wrong. I really enjoy this shoe.......they are so light and have tons of cushion in them. I would buy these again. I also have had problems with shin splints....was hoping that these would help with that....they haven't so far, but I do believe that any other shoe might have made the splints worse. Again, these are so light, my feet feel great while running.Honest reviews on Saucony Women's Ride 6 Running Shoe
I have been running in the Saucony Ride for the last ten years and am absolutely married to this shoe.If you are a mid range runner with minimal pronation/supination issues, this is the shoe for you. There has never been an problem with breaking in, blisters, or comfort--they are simply perfect and just a dream to run in. Additionally, the newest version--the six, is infinitely more stable and comfortable than the previous model. Great purchase and looking forward to my next pair within the month.
