I went hiking on the Appalachian Trail in GA for the first time a few weeks ago. I ordered these shoes based on the recommendations of friends, and I am SO glad I did. I ordered the same size as I would in tennis shoes, and they fit perfectly. It rained almost the entire time during an 8 mile hike, but my feet stayed dry. The next day, others were complaining about blisters while my feet were doing great! Absolutely no blisters even though I'd only worn them twice to work (which requires minimal walking) to break them in beforehand. The laces stayed tied, and the shoes cleaned off easily when we got home. Would definitely order these again!
