These are great for travel, the back heel can collaspe down and reduces volume in my luggage. Wore them overseas and they held up well. Very lightweight and comfortable. Strangely enough, even with all the camoflauge pattern, it matches most of my winter color wardrobe.

Would like to buy another pair.

These are serve well for walking but I would not use them for long distance running since you'll need more of the back heel support.

These sneakers are super cute but are very narrow and will have to be returned. I would recommend ordering a half size larger. I wouldn't be able to walk in them all day.....

I purchased these for my summer Ireland trip, they were perfect. They seem pretty water resistant. I was concerned about getting the 'gel' through the airports but it was perfectly fine. Easy to pack in the bag, if you are in a hurry to put shoes on these are great. I recommend them for trips!

For the last 3 years, I've been wearing ASICS' Gel Fluent 4 running shoe model. I'm not going to pretend that I run because I don't. But I do have narrow feet and a low arch and really need the extra support the gel cushion provides. Since my usual shoe model was not available in my size, I decided to try another Gel model and hope they weren't too different in feel from the other.

Clearly, I know nothing about running shoes! They are very light, which I gather is desirable for runners. Unless you're using them to run a 5k or something, though, they seem kind of useless as a shoe when it comes to protecting your feetthey are light because the shoes themselves are practically paper thin and flimsy. I WILL say that the soles feel really nice, lots of cushion in the heel and tapering down through to the where balls of your feet rest. It was also a bit snug, which was quite a surprise for me since most shoes I try on are a little too wide! Very snug around the toes. If the shoes weren't so thin, I'd probably just send these back and order a half size up. As it is, though, I just think it's not the right shoe for me. For those of you who run regularly and are at least moderately serious about it, I imagine this would be a good shoe for you. It is not a good shoe for casual everyday wear, though.

So in conclusion, 3 starsmostly for the fantastic gel sole; and keeping in mind it is a running shoe and is supposed to be really light, I imagine it would be considered a good running shoe as wellotherwise I would have given it 2 stars based on my own personal preferences. All things considered, it could rate 4 stars for all I know, since I do not run and have no clue what makes an ideal running shoe. So I rank it in the middlenot a perfect shoe but not necessarily a terrible one, either.
