I decided to try these shoes after reading the reviews. I was happy to find they were quite comfortable. It does seem that these shoes minimize my typical back pain when I am on my feet for awhile. The shoes tend to run a little small so keep this in mind when ordering. I usually wear an 11 but ordered a 12 and got a perfect fit.

UpdateI have been wearing the shoes quite a bit for a few weeks. One thing that became more apparent after awhile was how firm the inside was. I removed the inserts that came with the shoes and replaced them with Dr. Scholl's Active series inserts. These add a little more cushioning under the heel and ball of the foot. This addition has made these shoes even more comfortable. Just a little something else to consider.

The shoes are ok , I expect to be really comfy shoes for running but is not, for walking is perfect that's the only reason I give 3 stars if i must rate them based on running shoes will be one star.

SPIRA Genesis XOn the recommendation of a friend, I ordered a pair of Spira Women's Genesis X running shoes. Suggest that purchasers request a size larger rather than smaller, as I had to return mine and exchange them for the next size up, which were not available at the time. As I had particularly requested that they send a size that would fit the measurement of my feet (measurements sent with order), they refunded the price of the return postage without question, and I managed to get a correct size from another supplier Endless.com.

The shoes, when they arrived were a dream. I am able to wear them all day unusual for me, and I plan to take them where ever I go.

I live in Western Australia, a long, long way from the US, and the shoes arrived much quicker than I expected. I am delighted with them and would recommend them to anyone requiring a comfortable, attractive, well priced running shoe.
