This shoe is an excellent walking shoe but pay attention to the fact that it has neutral cushioning and less structure so for serious runners it may not be ideal without socks that have cushioning. UK has several options with increased cushioning and structure as well. These PT-03 are great for lower intensity activities (I'm an AVA walker member so 5k and 6k activities)but I use my 1000's and Under Armour socks for longer walks or more intense activities and my feet are never in pain at the completion of these activities.

This shoe seems like it is built with steel. I am surethey will last a long time. I would not suggest these as a running shoe as my feet felt bruised after using them after each run. They are not padded enough for longer runs even on a treadmill. They work well as walking shoes and general tennis shoes.
