I bought these for next indoor season so I haven't used them for gameplay yet. I have been wearing them around since the weather got nice to break them in (they do not require much break in time at all). What I can say so far is that they are very comfortable with good cushioning without being bulky. They are obviously not a super light shoe, but don't feel particularly heavy either. I could see this being a great choice for players with joint problems who need a bit more cushion.
I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than I normally would in an Adidas shoe (8.5 instead of 9) and the fit is perfect. Some reviewers on other sites say they fit wide, but I don't find them to be too wide for a guy with a medium width foot. I still have a pretty good snug fit. With the traditional central lacing, I think you can make them work on most any shape foot. Materials are great ( i love the kangaroo suede on the white ones I got). Some of the other colours (not a typo, I'm Canadian) are made from other leathers or synthetics so you may want to double check on the Munich website. I am very happy with them so far and can't wait to play in them this fall!My son is a college soccer player and he is very happy with these. After Adidas stopped making Sambas in Kangaroo, he need a substitute. He could play in them out of the box and says he loves them. Good touch and the sole is extremely tacky and excellent for a hard court. Highly recommended. Order at least a half size small. They run big.
