I originally found these shoes at a department store on sale. The fit and feel was great. I even compared side-by-side with a similar model of New Balance. I've used Asics for over 10-years, but felt I should at least give another brand a try. There really was no comparison when it came to fit and feel -the Asics triumphed over New Balance. I decided to "sleep on it" for a day or two, but when I returned to the dept store the sale was over and the Asics shoes were over $80. I found the same model and better selection of color options on Amazon. Two-clicks and 3-days later the shoes were delivered. I practically live at the gym so I had to be extremely calculating in the footwear I choose. If you're like me -I'll save you the trouble in doing a ton of research. If you want a good solid cross-training shoe for a good price -this is it and Amazon's price and shipping cost were even lower than eBay.

This is my third purchase of a Running shoe in ASICs Kahana series. Nice looking, long wearing, and comfortable shoe that can be worn day to day, during exercising, or on the trail. I do purchase one size larger with ASICs shoes and it seems to work out just right.

High quality indoor/outdoor shoe with traditional ASICS comfort. They feel a little "beefier" underneath with the more defined treads yet the profile and weight are still generally light...good all around.

I never put a lot of thought into my gym shoes until I purchased this pair of shoes. I started working out again about 6 months ago and my knees started to hurt for the first time in my life after I ran a few days a week on the tread mill. After I started using these shoes, my knees are fine. With the shoe, I also purchased a better in sole and had to increase 1/2 size for the shoe. I will be purchasing 2 more pairs of these shoes so, I know I will have a comfortable shoe for a while.

I usually run on the grass next to sidewalks in the suburbs...yup that's me running on the grass of you front yard. So I usually end up running over uneven surfaces and these shoes offer wonderful support in these cicumstances. Also, these shoes are very comfortable to run in when I have no choice but to run on the sidewalk.
