I read about these shoes in Runner's World Magazine almost 2 years ago and was upset to learn they were not out yet. I even contacted K-swiss to find out when they would be out just to try them on. SO now they have arrived and I have been wearing them.
These shoes are meant to fit tight. Do not buy a half size bigger, that is not how they are designed to be worn. IF you have wide feet, they might not be a shoe for you, or contact K-swiss and see if the make a wide option.
They are meant to give COMPRESSION to your feet. That means they have to be a little snug. The compression increases blood flow. So if you think about this as a runner increasing blood flow, means the lactic acid that builds up in muscles as you run comes, out faster leaving your muscles less tired. ( this is the concept)
If you are familiar with compression socks or tights that what these are like. If you have ever tried to put on compression socks, then you know, but they are not easy to get on. SNUG
The foot bed has a cushiony memory foam bed that is great, like a little pillow. The soles are very flexible. Very close to a Nike Free shoe.
I am a avid runner and I did not buy these for post runs. I bought these for work. I work 13 hour days on my feet walking anywhere from 6-10 miles a day. My dogs are tired when I get home. The first few days I put these on my feet, and its like putting on your socks, comfy and soft. walking in them is like clouds.
I have worked in them and my feet feel great all day. I previously wore Nike Frees to work. These are better. They offer a little more cushioning and better heel support which is great for all of the standing I do as well.
I highly recommend these comfortable shoes, and buy them for what they are designed for. If you are unsure find a store and try them on first before reading a review that tells you to go up a half a size because they are tight.

I just received my pair after a great Cyber Monday deal. I wear an 8.5 in all shoes (running too) and I was nervous if they would be too small. They fit perfectly. I have a VERY high arch and expected them to be uncomfortable until they broke in, but to my surprise they weren't any tighter than my running shoes when laced. I haven't worn mine except around the house, but I am excited to have them on days I know will be tiring on my feet and legs. The black/pink combo are really cute too!

I purchased these after reading a review from Runner's World. I wanted a very light shoe that was similar to a barefoot shoe, but without the fitted toes that many barefoot shoes have. These are a very lightweight, breathable mesh type shoe. The elastic band across the arch forms to your foot, making a snug, breathable fit. They slip on and off easily, and the insole makes them extremely comfortable. Since they are sockless shoes, they tend to smell bad fairly quickly. I just wear them in the shower, then pull the insoles out to let them dry separately. These are not what you would think of as a "running" shoeunless you are a barefoot runner. The insoles are there to make sure rocks don't bruise your feet, I think. The bladed sole does grip beautifully. After my chiropractor recommended barefoot running, I switched to these instead of my usual Asics Kayanoes, and I have had zero hip and knee issues since. I am on my second pair, and will be buying another.
Honest reviews on K-Swiss Women's Blade-Light Recover Shoe
I wanted to move to a lighter weight shoe for my 3-4 mile daily walk. These really support the arch, which is important to me after a bout of plantar fasciitis. They are snug, and even with ordering a half size larger than my regular shoes, which I always do with athletic shoes anyway, but I can only wear a thin sock with these. But the snug is good for people who need plenty of arch support. They wash off easily, which I need since I go trekking through fields pretty often, or throw in the washer, use cold water, then let air dry next to the heat/AC vent. And the price is right. I'm going to order another pair to have an extra pair to keep in my car. I have the Vibram five fingers, but I'm too old for that look, except at home on the treadmill, and they don't give me enough protection from the small sharp rocks that litter on our country roads where I walk.

These are great for resting your feet following races or long runs. They are soft and have just enough compression across the top to help with swollen feet after a long hot run.
