The Bedrock is very good for the mountain trail, super traction, comfortable, stable in different kinds of terrains.

I bought my first pair of badrocks. I am coming from Golite's. I was skeptical as I'd never seen the montrail. I spend months in the high country, these shoes have held up and still feel great! If you run/walk different terrains its worth a try. They're a mid weight shoe, not ultra lite. The fluidpost provides an excellent feel and support. I have one leg, and Ottobock bionic prosthetic , I'm amputated from above the knee. These shoes are great on my foot, and on my prosthetic foot. They hook up fantastic and hold my prosthetic tight without slip. I wear a 12, may I'll do a 11-1/2 next time. I had never heard of this brand before, but the reviews seemed to be mostly positive and I decided to buy the shoes anyway.When they first arrived, the shoes had that normal cushiony feel to them that makes them very comfortable. After awhile of wearing them, the initial "bounce" in my step had gone, but the shoes remained comfortable. There was no blisters when breaking the shoes in either this is a very nice bonus, as most sneakers I purchase tend to give me blisters until I break them in. I've now been wearing them for awhile, and the tread is still in good condition (I usually wear the tread down very quickly), and the shoe has maintained itself very well. I'm really impressed with the quality and I will definitely be looking into other shoes by this brand in the future.
