I am an avid wearer of Asics running shoes. I bought these as just a leisure/running shoe, as I normally go with a mix of stability and cushoning. My normal Asics models are the Kayano or Nimbus which are both excellent. The Kushon gives you just what's in the name. They are very comfortable, but this is the first shoe that I have bought that is basically a two-piece, meaning where your ankle comes to the mouth of the shoe, the front part of the shoe overlaps the rear. When just walking in these, your foot will nearly come out of them unless you have the laces looped through one of the last two loops. When I used the last two loops, I found it put alot of pressure on the top of my foot, making it uncomfortable, but did reduce the flexing and slippage of your foot. I normally don't have to use the last set of loops on the laces to keep the shoe that secure, nor have I ever had an issue with my foot wanting to come out. Overall I like the design and feel, just not the fit. I didn't return them because I got a good price on them and they are comfortable to just use as a leisure shoe, which will save my Nimbus model for running and lengthen their life expectancy.

The Asics Gel -Kushon 3 is a very comfortable shoe I bought 3 pairs of running shoes, all different, but this one is my Favorite! Its very lite weight, it looks good, I use it walking as well and have been on my feet on concrete for 8 to 10 hrs at a time, and my feet dont hurt!! Great shoe!!

Being a female with 'odd' feet: Really narrow heels; wide toe box; R foot a whole size bigger than left, need R toe fusion, arch issue...well you get the picture! I have tried TONS of running shoes all to no avail-until this pair! They have toe box room, are cushy, and just look fantastic....colors are awesome! I gave them 4 stars only because the heel is a bit too wide for me so I have to tie them a bit tighter! This could be unfair since I am a female! These are nothing short of fantastic and my search for a sneaker that fits is OVER! ....and decent arch support! I am extremely pleased; might buy another pair of 'guy' sneakers!!!

After just 4 months of light use, the rear gel separated off the shoe during a walk.

This shoe looks great but was just OK for walking and running. For day to day use, the rear gel system would catch on things like the carpet under the clutch petal, or even the carpet when sitting with my legs stretched out.
