I'm in love with Vibram FiveFingers Bikila and I wear them all the time. Since Bikilas are so comfortable I thought I could use another pair for kayaking, but a kind made for water sports, so I bought those. First, the sizes run different. I bought the same size as Bikila, but they were too small and I had to go one up. Second, I don't think neoprene aids itself to a five-finger design. They feel very good while you're in the water, but if you sit in a boat your toes are being pinched uncomfortably, and the longer you sit, the worse it gets. Those shoes might work great for surfing, wading and swimming, but not well for boating. I don't think it's the design, but the material.Pros:
1. Insulating
2. Feel good on when submerged in water
3. Grippy bottom
4. Tight design stops sand and weeds from getting in
Cons:
1. Run small
2. Hard to put on
3. Claustrophobically tight around the toes
4. Very uncomfortable to sit in for prolonged period of times when not under water

Ive been wearing these vibrams for about a month now and I am a big fan! They fit snug but comfortably, i wear a size 9 in ladies shoes and the W40 size is a perfect fit. These shoes do provide arch support and they do protect your feet, they are not as thin as everyone makes them out to be. Plus the all black ones are sleek looking. I will purchase the Azilias next.Honest reviews on Vibram FiveFingers Flow Women's Running Shoes Minimalist Sneakers
The shoes are of very high quality. However, I can only give four stars because the fit is VERY specific. My toes are weird... my pinky toe is longer than the one next to it. So... my shorter toe can't scrunch up to the correct placement, which means that poor little guy is bent and cramped, unable to pass the hump. It is difficult to explain. Just take my word for it.
Look at the shape of the shoe. If your feet aren't that shape, go to a store and try a pair on before buying online.
If your toes are normal, these would be great for you.
