I've been running in the Mizuno Wave Creation for almost ten years now. I have sent Mizuno a lot of money over the years. I've stayed with the model through several improvements/iterations, because for me, once I've found a shoe that works for me, I tend to stick with it until it stops working. Also, honestly, I'd rather avoid all the trouble of finding a new "perfect" home for my feet.
Well, I think the time to re-initiate the search may have come. The latest iteration of the MWC has a looser build about it, with the insole side feeling like it's made of two separate pieces held together only with some flimsy elastic. It's just odd and feels cheap.
In any case, my next pair of running shoes may be another pair of MWCs, but it will only be after I've tried on what's available from the other manufacturers -something I have not done in a long time.

I'm little bit on heavy side and these shoes provide the cushion that I need. I use this tennis to my training sessions and some medium competition 10Km and 15Km. Even it is a little heavy, it give a very nice stability during the running.
Best Deals on Mizuno Men's Wave Creation 9
Since I switched to Mizuno, I've had no shin splints, no blisters, and less knee and ankle pain. They are far and away the best shoes I've ever run on. The Creations are hard to find on sale, but if you can find the previous model, you might have a chance. They are worth the extra money over the Riders if you are serious runner.

It's an excellent tennis. Its deadening system and construction are very efficient. I recommend it.

I've worn many of the Creation models prior to the 9 and these were by far the heaviest. Mizuno creation is a great shoe for the larger runner and their known for the cushioning but I gave up on these after twenty miles. Back to the saucony triumph.
